I own Photoshop CS5 and i get messages that there are updates available, but when I go to download and install them i get the message "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. " What can I do to resolve this?

I own Photoshop CS4 and get messages that updates are available, but when I go to install them I get the following message,
"There was an error downloading this update, please try again later." I have tried numerous times with no success. What am I **** wrong?

Delete all content from following location on your machine and try updating again.
Win 7 and higher: <os-drive>:\Users\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\
Mac OS (User Library): ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/

Try disabling your parental controls. Does that help with the 450?

I can't seem to get support for my iphone, i need to contact apple because it isn't working at all , and it says it cannot process my request and to try again later, what can I do?

My Iphone 4 isn't working, It got wet and now I have it in a bag of rice. I heard that I should not try to turn it on or mess with the power button, so I haven't. It makes sounds when I get a text message but the screen is blank., I have tried to contact apple support online and it tries to send my iphone a message, but because it doesnt work, I can't receive it, so if I decline the "health check" then it says that it's "unable to complete my request at this time. Please try again in a few minutes or start over now." I have tried this several times and it's still not letting get any help. I don't know what to do. Someone please help. How did you get help with your phone when it got messed up or damaged?

A wet phone is out of warranty. This is considered user damage. Even if you were able to get it to start now, the chances of it working for long are slim. I suggest going to Apple and see about an OOW replacement. One for the iPhone 4 is only $149USD and it would come with a short warranty. It is a refurbished device and you would not be worried about encountering additional problems.

I keep getting a message "iTunes could not back up the iphone because the back up was corrupt ot not compatible with the iPhone. Delete the back up for this phone and try again." What can I do to fix this tried deleting and reinstalling itunes twice.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit ultimate and have the same problem. My hard drive crashed, installed a new one and then reinstalled CS5 extended. Installation went fine, but can no longer open my camera RAW files from Photoshop (camera is a Canon EOS T2i. The message also tells me I am not eligible for the update. I am... and I cannot open my files and I could before. I can find nowhere to contact Adobe to tell me how to proceed. My daughter is all a registered user of the same product and she had no problems upgrading... we purchased ours each at the same time. I do know the difference is that I had to reinstall and she did not. If that means anything.

Can you check the Object Security for the Analysis Menu and Export button and see if it is restricted?
Also, is this a Oracle DB? IF so, has the following 32 bit Oracle Client components been isntalled:

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update.

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, you need to get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.
Apple has started to get "tough" with hacked iPhones, & simply won't permit their activation.

Hi,
As the Other threads suggests I would check the Date and Time settings on the Mac and compare that with the settings in the router.
Messages (and iChat before that) send Time stamped info to Login and to send IMs.
Obviously most people set their Macs to their Time Zone and nearest city/town.
What people sometimes forget is that their Router/Modem device(s) have to be set correctly as well.

Also Add a Public DNS server to your System Preferences> Network > Advanced Button > DNS tab
A Google one such as 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 seem to work well for most people

Two things to try, first, reset your PRAM.
Next, try rebooting your computer.
