Day 1 Big problem. Registered my new i oad on i tunes. I Live and bank in Spain which is all ok until I want to look on apps......its all in spanish and changibg the kanguage does noit work HELP
You can only use a credit card registered in the same country as the iTunes store. If you have a Spanish credit card, it will only work in the Spanish iTunes store. To use the UK store, you'll need a UK credit card. You could try purchasing gift cards instead, but you'll need to buy them in the UK to use them in the UK store. Spanish gift cards will only work in the Spanish store.
If the only problem is the language, and you are living in Spain, perhaps you should learn Spanish?

You can set up an iCloud account on each one (the SAME iCloud account using the same AppleID on each) and then sync via iCloud.

However, an iCloud backup nor sync contains purchased content - that is available for redownload from the iTunes and App stores (so no need to waste iCloud space storing it for you).
So, for purchased content, you will have to download it on each device - just use the same AppleID and download each item on each device.
Without a computer to aid the sync'ing, downloading the purchased content on each device is the only way.
P.S audiobooks cannot be re-downloaded once purchased (all other content can be), so without a computer to save, store and move the audiobook files around, you will only be able to put those on one device - the one you first purchase it on. -
i have pressed a one step-recovery button on my lap-top and have lost all i-tunes data. However, a record of all my purchases still remain on my account. I do not have it saved to anyother device, how can i recover lost i-tunes music already purchased?

I am the administrator of my MacBook Pro, which I share with my kids. One of them forgot his password, so as the admin I changed it for his account, but when I try to see his account, it says I need to provide the keychain password. How can i get it? I have no idea how to sort this out...
First, make sure caps lock is not on.
You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.

I want to switch to the u.s store as I now live in the us, I cannot switch stores because my balance is $1.41 in the oz store and needs to be zero, how can I get rid of the $1.41 when everything costs more or less than that? I do not have a credit card on the oz iTunes account an I cannot use my us one to top it up.

Hi. Both myself and my wife are on the same account meaning same credit card. The problem with this is we both receive each others contacts and see each others I messages.
How can my wife have a different name so we are separate on such things as contacts and I message but she can still purchase items on the account.

Some of the photos in that link apply to setting up iCloud on a device from new, not when setting it up later. It won't look the same (the dark gray background) for you as you're setting it up now. -
I purchased bejeweled with my iPhone 4S and was hoping it would appear on my iPad Air, but this did not happen nor did it appear in my purchased apps at the App Store on my iPad. How do I get it to recognize that it was already purchased? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you for all the answers to my query. I had been using the same account on both phone and iPad, but did not make the difference. It said it was compatible with iPad. I just ended up having to pay for it on it as well. Sorry for taking so long to reply.

Set up gmail account in Apple mail and it only defaults to Pop. How can I get it to allow me IMAP?
I have multiple gmail accounts. Just set up a new one and configured it exactly as I have the others in gmail (enabling IMAP). But when I set it up in Apple Mail, it automatically sets it up as a Pop account. I cannot find a way to set it up manually...there is no check box that I can find to do this in the set up window. I have repeated the steps several times and it always defaults to Pop. So...how can I set it up as an IMAP account?
Got it...have to hold 'Option' button down after putting in name and password and it changes to 'Continue'.

There's no way to get your data back unless you made a backup somewhere from which you can restore.

i cannot sing into my iCloud account on my mac. IT has the wrong apple ID and my apple ID that has been verified does not work. My other devices have my correct apple id and I can sign in. This is very frustrating. Thanks
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

You have to use the same old Apple ID and password.

I recently had to wipe my macbook, and when I brought all my content back from my external hard drive, my itunes library wasn't up to date. I hadn't backed up my computer in a few months, and a lot of music I purchased in the last few months didn't show up in my itunes library. I went to the itunes store "Purchased" and re-uploaded my recent purchases, but it still didn't put all of my music on my laptop. I know my most recent music purchases must be on the icloud, but why aren't they uploading to my library, and how can I get that music back (that I paid for)?

How can I get this paid-for purchase to download? Ever since making the purchase from within the app on the I-Pad, it has been stuck on the screen with "Please Wait" showing. I can leave the app and run other apps, when I return it is still on that same screen. It took 11 hours from the purchase time until I received a receipt in my e-mail. I had the screen active on that for close to 1 hour following the purchase, then had to go to a different location; I was not at home at the time. I have tried to get it to complete here at home for over 1 hour and tried to find the purchase in the I-Tunes store from my laptop computer, and get a report that all purchases have been downloaded.
This morning, I did a power down and reboot of the I-Pad, that got the "Please Wait" resolved. I then tried clicking on the additional picture set and it did download and install, so the problem is now resolved.
