my keyboard has flikering lights when trying to download an app and can't send pics

My new iPhone 5 (Black 64GB, Switzerland, Swisscom) has the same Problem! Flickering Screen sometimes! The Device is 1 Day old.
****!!!! My old iPhone 4S was better
I think this is a Hardware Problem for Warranty....

How do i turn the beep noise off when dialing a number, ive never noticed it before and suddenly out of the blue it makes a beep sound when i dial a number.

Go to Settings>Sounds and at the bottom there should be an option for keyboard clicks. If that's on, turn it off and you should be good to go.

Just updated and now phone keyboard is locked

If the keyboard isn't supposed to show in the app then it's possible that the developers need to make a change for iOS 8.
You could try closing the app via the iPad's taskbar and see if that makes any difference.
If not then you could try deleting the app and redownloading it and see if that fixes it - though if you've made in-app purchases within it you may want to check if they are re-downloadable.

efficient keyboard for quick access to functions. How many other phones have 26 quick keys to dial a number?
convenient one handed operation on the bus because it has a trackpad
great battery life with the slower processor
user replaceable battery. You can change a battery for the cost of a good dinner. Other phones have sealed batteries that force you to get a hair dry to rip the battery out. Basically they force you to get a new phone....SCAM
durability..... seen too many cracked Apple screens. Takes a lot of punishment without needing a THICK "bumper"
brightness.... notice how dim iPhone screens are on bus compared to other phones?
data compression.... doesn't rack up my data plan. Doesn't have Siri. Blackberry uses 1/3 or 1/6 the data compared to other phones. Very important, especially when travelling
BBM saves me money when texting with other international BBM users.
the 9810 sliding mechanism means the phone is compact when not used, but grows in size when needed
the 9810 keyboard does not shrink my viewing area when I'm typing

plays flash websites.... i got tired of Apple forcing websites to create an App to work (scam)
fits in my purse and pocket

How to go back to ios 5 phone dialer in iphone

Is there a way to have the phone keyboard go back to the color it was before upgrading to ios 6?

Not a particularly useful response to be honest. "Change is good"
What I dislike is not the keyboard change itself, but how it keeps changing back to the old colour scheme for some activities.
Try dialing a number (or going to message bank), then bring up the keyboard, such as when doing phone banking. No new white keyboard now. The chopping and changing between colour schemes is more annoying than staying with one, or the other.
So "change is (not) good", when it happens during a phone call.

Flex Mobile - Moving up for keyboard

Not sure if this is where i should post this question about Flex Mobile, but don't see any forums for Flex Mobile.
My question should be simple enough. I create a Android app and it works perfect. About ready to put it in the market, but one odd thing I can't find on google is how to move the app (or at least the onFocus TextInput) up so the phone's keyboard doesn't cover it.
Does anyone know what event (if any) is fired off when the phones keyboard is summoned and how to keep your text area above it.

Firmware versions in replacement phone

Hi there all.
I have a small problem, or at least some questions. I originally got a new E90 three weeks ago and just after I got it I ran software updater and it was updated to version 7.40.12.
Not this phone had problems with the screen not only touching the keyboard, but scratcing it so after one unsuccessful fix I got a new one. My original one had the Scandinavian code. Now this new one has another code 0548246, which I think is German. It at least had German letters and software. After the technicians changed this over to an english keyboard and software and after they updated it to what they said was the newest firmware, it shows firmware 7.38.0.2 . I have tried software update again and it says no way to update to 7.40.
Now the questions are: Should I demand another replacement, why cannot this new one be updated to 7.40, and have I been had by the phone sellers. I am very insecure about this so I would really like some good advice. furthermore the new phones keyboard also touches the screen, not any less than the first one. So I am very dissatisfied and somewhat at a loss. what should I do?

Just forgot to mention that when I enter the product code 0548246 on the Nokia website I get the message that version 7.24 is the newest for my phone. This is of course totally unacceptable. When entering my original product code which was 0545807, I get version 7.40. Hugely irritating. Please advice on what to do.

Blank screen after pressing the phone icon

Hello everybody
When I press the phone icon in my iphone 5C I get a blank screen for 10 secondes and then the window closed to come back to the home page of the iphone. As a result I did not get access to the phone keyboard neither to the contact list nor the message box. I did a reset of the setting of my iphone but the problem remained. I pressed both the sleep / wake buton together with the home one but it did not work. I switch it off without better result. Anyone get any idea?

Back up your data and restore your software via iTunes or iCloud. If the problem continues, restore as a new device and test. If the problem is solved, there is some kind of corruption in your backup file or maybe it's one of your apps causing problems. If it continues, take it to an Apple Store for evaluation of a possible hardware problem.

In the latest update of pages on Ipad it says you can easily use iPhone landscape keyboard to type. How do you do this

I don't know where you read that but on the app description page - this is what it states.

That doesn't make it sound like you can use the phone keyboard to edit documents on the iPad. Maybe I missed it somewhere. It just makes it sound like the keyboard now rotates to landscape on the phone and the touch.

Better Keyboard

Do I have better keyboard options for my iPhone?

I have been using my iphone 4S for a full two years. As smart as the keyboard is supposed to be, I am still continually frustrated by how bad the auto correct is, how I push the delete key every other time I type the letter M, how I can never take my eyes off the keypad while typing, and how generally I spend all my focus and attention TRYING TO TYPE in stead of focusing on what I want to say. I perhaps need to change to a device with a better keyboard, but I am reluctant to do this.
Are there better keyboard options out there I should be aware of? Either a keyboard case that is AWESOME or a keyboard app or upgrade or something? I hear good things about swipe typing on Android but don't know if it's a good option for my iphone. I also tried a bluetooth keyboard case but the lag for it to connect every time I needed to use it and the inferior keyboard construction, not to mention that some apps do not rotate sideways when you open the keyboard, made it not worth my time.
I used to hope apple would one day come out with a physical keyboard, but don't think that will ever happen sadly. The best phone keyboard for productivity that i ever had was the LG Voyager back in 2008. Very clumsy old phone, but the productivity I had with that keyboard on the email program for simply banging out text emails has been unparalleled since. I would pay $2000 for an iphone with the same keyboard as the LG Voyager.

I do not know any way to help you with the navigation through folders, but as far as deleting episodes in iTunes, you can use the keyboard shortcut command and delete. Then when the dialog box comes up to keep file or move to trash just press "m" That will initiate move to trash and you can keep you fingers on the keyboard. I am not sure if there is a way to move directly to trash without being asked. Knowing the complex nature of OSX there probably is.

External keyboard for Palm Centro

I've read a few reviews on Amazon on the Palm wireless keyboards (Palm 3245WW) saying they don't work as advertised and that Palm no longer makes them/supports them and was totally not helpful in resolving any of the issues. Does anyone know of an external keyboard that will work with the Centro? Or new drivers that resolve these problems? IR, Bluetooth, wired....I don't care. My wife has the phone and texts a lot and the phone keyboard is extremely painful for her to use for long periods of time.

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Support Community.
Everywhere you go, even here, you'll find people who have problems for one reason or another (user error, wrong driver, other third-party software incompatibilities, actual hardware issues) pairing the two devices. But that particular keyboard is compatible with the Centro. Searching on the Forums here will yield threads evidencing the fact that users have successfully paired the keyboard with their Centro.
Just realize that the Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard is no longer a current Palm model. Here is the device's support page where you can download the latest driver, etc.:

Recently when i sms using keyboard on phone suddenly the light on keyboard turn off and i still typing a work...Any solution for this...Plus when my keyboard turn off my LCD light still on....Also did we nid to bring our phone to nokia center to service?When?FOC?

There are light sensors in the C6-00, the keyboard light will switch on only when the sensors sense that the phone/ keyboard is in dark place.. if there is sufficient light (or light falling on the sensors) then the keyboard light doesnt glow.

Wrong the mobile companies know exactly what imei is connected to their network and the mobile number associated at all times.
They however will NOT TELL you on a whim as this is a major security issue.
What they will do is ask you to confirm the imei number back to THEM and they will pin point your phones location.
If the op owns those phones and numbers the imei number can be found in one of three ways.
1. dial *#06# on phone keyboard
2.Plug phone into computer and open iTunes in the summary window click on the phone number and it changes to reveal the imei number
3.On the phone navigate to settings/general/about and the scroll the list- the imei number is in that list.
