I recently picked up a new iPhone6. Before i handed in my old phone(iphone5), I backed it up using iCloud.
Now I can't seem to get the photos from my old camera roll onto my new phone or my Mac. Did I lose all
the photos from my old phone?

1. Create a backup of your iPad to iTunes on your computer or to iCloud
2. Transfer any and all photos & videos on your iPad to your computer.
3. Erase the iPad and restore the iPhone's iCloud backup to the device.
4. Transfer any and all photos & videos on your iPad to your computer.
5. Restore the iPad backup you reated in step #1 back to the iPad.

Many users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.

IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream - and then moved into permanent albums for storage. If using Photo stream, but sure to move the received photos to a permanent album. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure".

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

They made an error with the update in only listing it as compatible with Firefox 4.0, so they will not install on Firefox 4.0.1 and subsequent Firefox security updates. okay so unfortunately I lost my iphone 4 battery died and everything so was no chance of finding it even with find my iphone , fortunately I backed up every photo to my icloud I know there all there because I accidentally corrupted my phone during an update and restored from the cloud and it brought back all the photos (this was before I lost it) now with my old phone I never had photo stream or synced my phone to my computer so the pictures are just on the icloud . and I know they are there , but since I got my new phone my icloud management shows two backups , my current phone , and my old phone , so all the old pictures are still there , is there anyway of getting these pictures from the icloud either onto my laptop or on my new phone ? thanks

Have a look at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4859 for more help. Setup assistant should prompt you for your apple I'd and password then you should be abl to select a backup from iCloud.

You will have to restore the phone and set up as New. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212. The part you need is near the bottom, "If you have never synced your device with iTunes...". You will lose any content that is not backed up in iCloud.

Since you have purchased a new Mac (which, BTW, is not typed in all capitals) why not buy a Time Capsule <http://www.apple.com/airport-time-capsule/> which is designed specifically to work with OS X and Time Machine?
You don't say what part of your Sony "crashed." If it was not the HDD it is possible to take the computer apart, put the HDD in an external case, then recover the data off of it (including the music) simply drag-n-drop. If it was the HDD that "crashed" that makes it more difficult.
If you are able to recover the music from the Sony you can then add it to the iTunes library on the Mac and iTunes Match will then scan, match and upload the tracks to be mirrored in the cloud.

Until about a week ago I could read all my iCloud email. Lately some subscription items come in with the email header but the body is blank. When I checked the same messages on my iPhone via iCloud email the full body text is available. Any ideas how I can get my Mac Pro to see the text? I've rebooted the Mac Pro and closed the iCloud and reconnected but no change.

I think you need mountain lion. I am having the same issue. Here is the system requirements for iCloud to work properly. I hope this helps.

Restore it thru iTunes. At the prompt about using a backup, choose the other option to set up as a new iPhone.
Or, go to Settings/ General/ Reset/ Erase All Content and Settings, then don't select a backup.

Yes, you can get those games on your iPad Mini.
Sign into the iTunes and App Store section of the Settings with the same Apple ID used to buy those games. Then go to the App Store and click "Updates" and then "Purchases" and you should see the games your hubby bought with his device.

IF your imessage is saying waiting for activation then do this:
backup your phone to itunes or icloud.
then on your phone go to settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe your phone clean.
once the process is done, you can restore from the backup you made, then you should be able to activate your imessage.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

You could try unsyncing it from your phone using iTunes (by unchecking it on your iTunes sync settings on the Tones tab and syncing), they resync it to your phone (by rechecking to sync tones in iTunes and syncing again).

I've recently upgraded to OS 10.6.8 and now can't get my Corel Painter IX to run.

:II've recently upgraded to OS 10.6.8 on my desktop and have had to reinstall all my software programs. I can't seem to get my Corel Painter IX to run. It appeared to install correcly and will open momemtarily, but then stops the process and shuts down. I've searched the Corel help site and can't seem to find any help. Anybody else encounter this issue? I know it's an old version and I should upgrade, but this version suits my needs and I honestly don't have an extra $199 to upgrade. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

That version will not run on 10.6. The new X3 does. Contact Corel to see about an upgrade.
