I renewed and Skype gave me a double account and is billing me monthly...

I had already contacted customer service via your chat several times. The agent said it was resolved and the double account would be closed. He also told be I would get the two 30.00 charges refunded. I never got the refunds and the account remains open. I have tried twice to contact chat since the proposed correction and the agents say the systems are down. This is really unacceptable and ridiculous! I paid for one yearly account, try to renew my yearly account and end up with two accounts, one billing me an outrageuos 30.00 a month. Something I never asked for. I need this resolved now. I don't have time to be contacting skype on a daily basis.

How can anyone here know what they gave you? None of us were there in the store at the time. I'd suggest you go back to the store and ask them. A "replacement phone" means exactly that - a "replacement" for the faulty "phone" you returned.
Whatever you were given, it will be identical to the one that was replaced (apart from it works).
There is no difference between a refurbished phone, and a new one, except the refurbished one has actually been through more checks that it is ok, than a new one.

    Hi, I have had a supscription for Unlimited Worldwide for a few years and I received a message today that my subscription was not renewed and also that it was cancelled (it expires in 2 days). When I tried to get a new subscription to avoid disruption in my service the payment was denied when tryin to pay with a different card. I cannot tell why this is happening, the card info is correct and was verfied on Sype's site. Please advise. Thank you.

  • Problem Renewing my Skype Phone number

    I  just got an email from SKYPE saying my Skype Number is going to expire on June 11th and gave me a link to sign into my account.   But once I get there ther is no way to renew my Skype Number.  My only option is to create a New Skype Number.   I DONT WANT A NEW SKYPE N UMBER, I WANT TO RENEW MY CURRENT SKYPE Number.
     On my Skype account page I am also told that my Skype Number has been CANCELLED.   I did not cancel my Skype number.  Who the hell did?      Further, I am told that my PREMIUM account has been CANCELLED, I did not cancel my premium account.   I purchased it in Nov 2012 for a year,   So who the hell is cancelling my accounts and why?  
    I tried to use the Skype customer support Chat  to talk to someone. but that does not seem to be working,
    So how the hell do I contact a real person at Skype to get these problem fixed?

    OK, I've just been on chat for an hour and a quarter and the problem has finally been resolved. It was caused by me changing my payment method back in Sept last year (new credit card). Somehow Skype thought this meant that the number should be "cancelled". 
    I don't know what the rep did to fix it, but it is not something you can do yourself - so you'll have to get on the chat server. It shouldn't take that long, but the rep didn't seem to believe me. I was talked through the basic renewal procedure, told to try other browsers, and finally asked for screen shots to prove that my problem was what I said it was. 
    Hope you don't have to wait so long!

    It seems that I have wrongly selected the automatic renewal of skype credits.Every time that my minutes are over, skype just automatically debit my credit card.
    I want to cancel this option and been able to buy credits only when I need to.

    I know it's bit confusing, but I'll try to explain it in more detail.
    In 2010 you purchased Unlimited US&Canada for outgoing calls and Online Number for receiving calls:
    Unlimited US & Canada 12 months     $30.48
    Online Number, 12 month subscription     $30.00
    In total it is 60.48USD
    This year you have been charged with $30.480 which is for Unlimited US & Canada. Online Number is not extended as 30USD is not paid and Online Numbers are not extended automatically. This is something you would need to do manually from account page.
    Basically, your calling subscription is extended till September 2012 and if you wish to receive calls then you will need to manually extend your Online Number as explained here: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10365

  • Can't double click and add event in month view. HELP!

    For some strange reason, I can't double click to addevent on Ical Monthly view all of a sudden. Whenever I double click, nothing happens. Same thing happens on the year view.
    I can only add event now using the stupid + signs, or go into daily or weekly view. HELP!

    I have this problem too.  Just started today all of a sudden.  When I am in iCal on my Macbook, I double click - like I have been doing since ical was invented - and nothing happens, other than a quick "updating" message.  I tried clicking the "+" button but all it gives me is  "quick event" to add but nothing ever shows up in my iCal calendar on my mac.   When I log into to iCal in the Cloud - lo and behold! - I see dozens and dozens of "new event" entries all over my calendar!  What is going on and how can this be corrected?  At this point my computer's ICal program is basically now useless since I am prevented from adding anything to it.

    If you mean photo stream pictures, they shouldn't be an issue.  Photo stream photos don't use your iCloud account storage so a storage upgrade was not required for them anyway.

    Also we need to patch our stack to the latest SP. Latest SP available in market is SP11 as we prefer n-1 we planned to go for SP10, but in MOPZ while selecting the target it gives option only for SP11 in the drop down. Any reason for it ?
    As you could see our SAP-HR, EA-HR LSOFE are still in 600 release. If we select the target package in MOPZ to the latest will it upgrade the SAP_HR 600, EA-HR 600& LSOFE 600 components to SAP-HR 604, EA-HR 606, LSOFE 606 ?
    If I had to install HR-Renewal 1.0 I would need EA-HR 607 and LSOFE 607, so can that be included in the same stack ?

    Basically it is on the day your contract ends. However some Verizon wireless corporate store managers can over ride that and update possibly a week early. But its iffy.
    Now Verizon will let you upgrade to the Edge program but you have a broken device and they will prey on you since you are desperate for a device. Edge plan is paying full price over 20 months and paying taxes on it up front, you then after paying 60% of the device off can edge up to another device. Now if you pay 60% off at anytime after 30 days you can continue to trade them in for new as much as you want.
    Or you can wait it out get a new free device under contract or reduced cost device again under a 2 year contract.
    The edge plan is no contract.
