I really need.to find my ipod i beleve one of my friends has stole it
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

No. The SN will only help identify the iPod as yours IF it is recovered.

Yes, that is the number. And what version of Aperture have you installed? The same version as on your old Mac?
But it don´t work on my new Mac...
In what way does it not work? Does it require you to enter a licence number for Aperture 2 as well? That will be necessary, if your serial number is an upgrade serial number. Then you will have to enter all previous numbers as well.
Or does Aperture not accept the number as correct? Then check the spelling; some letters are easily confused like "I" and "1" and "O" and "0". Do not use the number pad to enter the numbers.

Btw. The original purchase information on your app is available in your computer, in your iTunes account.
Click apps and find the app you are looking for.
Right click on the app and "get info"
This will show when it was purchased and under what Apple ID. -

i bought a new ipod since my old one would not update. they are the exact same generation of ipod, just the new one is ios 6, but when i plug it up to my computer since my old ipod's info is backed up through my computer only, will restoring that reset my new ipod and send it back to the way my old one was?

Purchased a used ipad on ebay, seller says it is locked in icloud and not released. He said he got it from a friend, but didn't know the id or password to get ot released from icloud. I asked if it was stolen of which I have not heard from him yet. Does anyone know how to get it reset so it can be used? HELP please!!
You cannot, and Apple won't unlock it for you. Ask eBay for a refund.

Please clarify what you mean. Do you already have an iPhone? If so, and it came from the US and is (presumably) carrier locked, you're out of luck. NONE of the US carriers will unlock iPhones. There are no exceptions.
The unlocked iPhone 4S is not yet available in US Apple retail stores. All phones sold at retail in the US are currently carrier locked. -

There is no backdoor passcode. If there was then the passcode would be poor security feature.
Yu have to connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes.
If you connect to a different computer you will have to place the iPod in Recovery mode and then restore via iTunes.
A restore will erase the iPod. -

I downloaded a new font (Lato) and stretched some of the type. It appears fine on the screen and print preview but is distorted on my printed copy. I have tried to convert all text to outlines and selected that preset in the pdf dialog box but this still hasn't solved the problem. I'm not sure if this is even the problem - I would really appreciate help! thanks so much!
Ok I found a site that has a free version of this font and Font Agent Pro found nothing wrong wit it so I loaded it. And I then opened it and saved it as a pdf and then printed it from Acrobat with no problems and looks fine in Acrobat and Illustrator.
