Purchased a used ipad on ebay, seller says it is locked in icloud and not released. He said he got it from a friend, but didn't know the id or password to get ot released from icloud. I asked if it was stolen of which I have not heard from him yet. Does anyone know how to get it reset so it can be used? HELP please!!

You cannot, and Apple won't unlock it for you. Ask eBay for a refund.

if itunes will not run, you probably have mangled windows badly
one feature of windows 8 is the refresh that saves libraries,
because you are using windows 7, you will need to backup all files to another storage device

Sequence File has not been released

Hi,
After the execution is complete, I get (TestStand 3.5) a debug warning stating that a Sequence file has not been released!
The indicated file is my main sequence.
What does it mean?
Where and how am I suppose to release it?
Any clue as to where to start fixing this problem?

Hey Rafi
This error is occurring because somewhere there is a reference to an object that is not being closed. The first step would be to open just your operator interface(OI) and close it to see if the error occurs. If it does, then there is an object in your OI that isn't being closed. The next step would be to open an example sequence file in your OI and see if the error occurs. If it does, most likely the problem is still within your OI. If the example sequence file runs fine, then the problem is in your sequence file itself. Usually this error occurs in code modules that are being called and not in code that is native to the TestStand API. The native API tries to close everything for you to avoid this problem.

I keep getting an error message when I plug my iPhone into my computer. It says, "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device has not been started." This has never happened before when I plugged it in - now the iPhone won't show up at all.

MY IMESSAGE HAS NOT BEEN WORKING. IT ONLY WORKS WHEN I AM CONNECTED TO WIFI. THE INTERNET DOESNT WORK EITHER. I TRIED EVERYTHING AND NO ONE ON THE VERIZON PHONE NUMBER WILL ANSWER.

First make sure cellular data is toggled on.
Secondly make sure airplane mode is set to off.
Thirdly, make sure to toggle to "on" the send text/SMS/MMS if you cannot use imessage.
I don't know what model iPhone you have, if a 5,5c, or 5s make sure the Sim card is functioning properly. (Remove with device turned off, the carefully place back in device) then turn on the iPhone.
Hopefully problem solved.

Now that we've established that you have the CD correctly imported into iTunes, we can move on from there.
Connect the iPod to iTunes. When it shows up as a Device (in the left window of iTunes) select it. You will be looking at the Summary tab (or pane).
On this pane, my choice is to have the option to Sync only ticked songs and videos selected. I recommend this option for you. This is relevant to the next step.
At the top of the pane select Music. On this pane, check the options for Syncing. You need to have Sync Music selected and then choose either Selected Playlists (which will only put your choice of Playlists onto your iPod) or Entire Music Library. If you select "Entire Music Library" then all your songs (one exception) will be transferred to your iPod.
The exception is: if you un-tick a song in your iTunes Library, then at the next Sync, it will be removed from the iPod but kept in your Library.

Trials don't use serial numbers. If it asks for one, then the trial has self-destructed and there is no way to revive it unless you buy it.
