Yes, beta versions of software often are set with an expiration date.

i dowloaded a update for itunes and now when i try to open it tells me:
this copy of itunes is corruped or not installed....its telling me to reinstall...someone help please lol
when it was in the middle of updating itunes closed .......i duno if that matters....No, you SHOULDN'T lose your library. I say SHOULDN'T because over the years, I've lost quite a few songs by updating iTunes. I'm not sure why that is but it happens. Other than maybe losing a couple of songs here and there (IF that even happens at all to you), your library should remain intact.
I recommend UNINSTALLING iTunes on your computer first (if it shows up in the Uninstall Menu) and then installing iTunes 11 from a fresh download.
Any version of Windows should have a similar process for uninstalling a program. I've been using Windows since Windows 95 and I now use Windows 7 so I know the process is similar now matter which version you use. I will tell you how I do it in Windows 7.
Start > Control Panel > Uninstall A Program
Then scroll down the menu until you find "iTunes" and highlight it. Then at the top of the screen, select Uninstall. Let Windows finish uninstalling it (it may require a Restart of your computer). Follow all the steps to uninstall it.
Then visit http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and get iTunes 11 for your version of Windows. Download it and install it.
This SHOULD fix the problem. Once you do that, you'll need to go through the process of locating your library though the iTunes Preferences menu. Once your library is sync'd with iTunes, you should be ready to enjoy your music again.
I hope that works for you! -
I downloaded the latest iTunes version and now get the following error message: "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes." Can anyone provide suggestions on what I should do next?
Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now? -

I have been met with the message saying This version of Itunes may be corrupted or not installed properly. Reinstall I Tunes.
Please advise what has happened and what I need to do (using windows 7)Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.

Hi guys.Got a problem with my iPhone 5. I bought it in a shop 4 month ago. After I got a visitor with iOS 7 on his phone he would like to charge his phone with my Laptop and cable. But when he plugged it in it showed a message wich says: " This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this phone".
How is this possible? I then phoned the shop and told them my problem. When I gave them the details I also found out that the imei No. in the iPhone is the same as on the original box. But the the Serial numbers are different. I already try the support centre but I’m over the 90 days. And there is no Apple Store in Namibia. I hope someone can help me here. Thanks, RalfarYou are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money.. -
I've got myself a new iphone 5s and I tried to update itunes. Now its telling me that this copy of itunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly Please reinstall itunes.I'm not good with computers so any help would be great.I'm scared if i reinstall i will lose everythig.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

my iphone 4s fell and display went blank, and when i restarted it shows a USB on display asking to connect with itunes, instead i went to a phone repair shop where they service iphones too.First they said that they have to install the IOS4 again in it but they could not do so due to an error so later they asked me whether they should install IOS5 i agreed but it only happened after a long struggle yet the phone remains in the same state with the display showing USB asking to connect with itunes..they could not fix it..please help me..:(
What's there to help? You dropped your phone and now it's broken. You'll have to bring your phone into Apple for an out of warranty exchange. If you purchased Apple Care+ is will cost $49.00, if not, it will be $199.00

I have downloaded a new version of itunes from the Apple website and I get a message asking if I want to repair files or remove itunes from my computer, when I chose repair files I get another message asking if I want to remove itunes from my computer, when I choose 'no', I get a message saying there was an error and no itunes update occurs, please help? Choose "Yes" at that point. The repair first uninstalls and then automatically reinstalls iTunes. -

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

I am on Windows 7. Yesterday I ran an iTunes update and today I receive this message when I try to launch iTunes: This copy of iTunes is corrupted and not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes. I am woried that I have already lost my music and don't want to re-install.
I found this on another discussion board and it really helped, I didn't have to uninstall anything and didn't lose any music
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
