Not sure about the codec- Wondershare asked where I was sending to in setup and I selected imovie. It did the rest. I have been successful with editing on storyboard, but imovie (09) quits when I attempt to view project full screen, or prepare the movie for sharing. I have removed some files (to ensure headroom), and have installed most recent updates.

Yes, I had found a similar solution also. I'm running XP Pro, SP3. I went Control Panels/ Add-Remove programmes/apple software update/ change/ repair. Then run the 10.5 exe.
While the programme updated from version 8 of iTunes, my new iTunes is now a mess. Not all of my music was in the same folder previously but it all showed up on iTunes. Now many albums have been left out, some have only a few tracks and some have two copies of some tracks as well as having other tracks missing. I haven't begun to work on that. -
Hi. I would really appreciate if someone could help me find a way to solve my problem. I bought a second hand iphone4 from my friend's friend. I fully trust my friend coz she said this iphone is working but it was handed to her lowbat so i get home i recharge it immediately and after charging it, i open and it shows to select language and country and i did select. After this it shows on the screen "Connect to itunes". Then i plug it in to my laptop and connect to itunes. It shows in my itunes " There is a problem with your iphone". I recently had to get a new debit card. When I updated the debit card information - I've received this message ever since. I've gone back in and updated the information twice after to make sure it is correct and it is. Yet I continue to get the error message.
I can't purchase or update any apps and can't purchase music or movies, etc.
And it really aggravates that Apple wants me to pay to get support on how to PAY them. Argh..
Anyone know how to fix this?I had the exact same problem. I cancelled a credit card that was used as my iTunes registered card. Even though I'm the family organizer, I was not able to update my credit card info to my new card: I received the annoying "Ask your family organizer to update their billing info" message. After spending 45 mins on the phone with Apple Support, they found the problem. There was a pending credit card charge that my wife had made on her phone that needed to be paid before any changes could be made to the account. The problem was that she was unable to provide credit card details as long as I was the family organizer and I was unable to provide credit card details as long as she had an outstanding balance.
The solution suggested by Apple was for my wife to leave family sharing temporarily, update the credit card info to pay the outstanding balance and then re-join the family. This worked. The downside is that there is an annual limit on how many times (2?) that you can join a family so this workaround is clearly not a sustainable solution. Apple needs to fix this bug in their payment system to (1) make the error message describe what is happening and (2) provide a way of updating credit card details without having to leave the family. -

I have downloaded from iTunes an album that includes an mpeg-4 video file? What is the best medium CD or DVD and format for burning the playlist? Assume it could be played on a CD player (for sound only) or a DVD player.

After connecting 3gs to itunes, there is a message which says"There is a problem with your phone"
My iphone 3gs when is turned on displays iphone in center and a arrow pointing right and it says slide to confired. I go thru by selecting English and country USA. After it says "connect to itunes". I connect the phone to my computer (windows7) and itunes recognizes the phone. After just a few seconds, I get this message in itunes " There is a problem with your IPhone. I have reinstalled the software twice but still does not pass the message in iTunes.
When I disconect it and reconect it again the same message show up in iTunes.
What's is going on with this phone? PLEASE HELP.It's probably broken. Is there an error number displayed by iTunes?

I suggest creating a separate AppleID for iCloud for each individual and using the same one for iTunes. By having a separate one for iCloud you can keep your contacts separated, have more iCloud storage (5 gigs each instead of sharing 5 gigs) and each have your own iMessage contact. Otherwise you both will be able to see each others imessages. You can still use the same AppleID for the iTunes Store to share music and app purchases. The iPhone "Settings" has different location for inputting your iCloud and iTunes AppleID.

I guess some of you may want to do the same thing as I do, but have not found an available application to achieve this goal, if so, I would like to share my experience here, and sincerely hope you can get what you need from my post.
The software I’m in use is Pavtube YouTube Convereter for Mac, which has performed very well on all the work I let it do. It can finish downloading and converting YouTube videos simultaneously in a few clicks. Besides YouTube, it can also deal with the video files from many other video sharing websites, like MySpace, Yahoo! Video, Google Video, Metacafe, Reuters, etc. Okay, let’s go back to the point to see how to use it to download and convert YouTube videos to MP3 on Mac in detailed steps.
Step 1: Add YouTube URL
Step 2: Select MP3 as output format
Copy and paste YouTube URL to the textbox after “URL”, meanwhile, if you want to save the original FLV YouTube videos, you can tick “Save FLV File”. Click the drop-down icon at the end of “Convert To” to select MP3 as output format. Is it wise to keep the Nikon camera files "DSC's" after downloading them and converting to DNG files via Adobe converter for lightroom use. In other words do the DNG files have all the raw data I would ever need in processing or should I save the camera's DSC files?
DNG files do not contain some metadata supplied by the camera, which can be used by the manufacturer's software. Thus, if you don't keep the original Raw photo, you will lose this information.
If your 1000% sure you're never going to use the manufacturer's software, then this isn't a problem. But who can be sure what software you will be using 10 years from now? -
I am trying to download FREE apps but I can't download any without billing information. Showing up and saying there was a problem with a recent purchase and when I put credit card details it is saying its declined, help? I can't download no apps until this is fixed?

Any Ideas of how to solve this one?After reading all these posts, one by one did not resolve my problem until I got the very end. Regardless of what step would resolve your problem, these are the steps I would recomment to everyone for a what seems to be a safe and fool-proof upgrade to iTunes 10.5.
1. Stand alone upgrade to the latest Quicktime version
2. Go to control panel and "change" then select repair to the following applications in the order specified by the post on Oct 27. (Notice I skipped Quicktime because it had been upgrade manually,and Bonjour did not have a "repair" option)
iTunes; Apple Software Update: Mobile Device Support; Apple Applications Support
Some of these applications may not appear if they do not apply to your configuration (no iPhone, or no iPad, or other apple devices).
Once all updated, I did not need to restart nor launch any applications, I simply went straight into the 10.5 upgrade, and where it normally got stuck, this time the installation continued for a while longer until it completed successfully.

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR
