I've downloaded https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/oldbar/ and it didn't seem to make a difference unless I'm supposed to do something with the download afterwards.

We are trying to create a bar graph with a line graph superimposed on it. We have created two graphs, 1 a bar graph, the other a line graph and put them on top of each other. In the analyzer mode, we have set the area colors of the front graph to be transparent. In design mode, when we view this, it works well (we see the bar graph with the line graph over top of it).
Our problem is, when we try to view the same report through our application (vb6), the transparent area shows up white. We tried a test where we set the area colors to blue and viewing the report in the design mode, shows blue. Viewing through our applications, goes to white. Is there somehow a way of setting the area colors of the graph at runtime?

Yes, I create a formula row with a zero in the first column. The row should be hiden. This has to be at the top of the grid and include the row in your data ranges for the chart.

you can try using either Business Graphics or GFW framework for this.
for drawing a graph using Business graphics you simply need to call the FM
GRAPH_2D or GRAPH_3D and pass the required data. A new window opens up business graphics expolorer containing the graph with builtin functinalily to print etc.
But if you wish to use GFW framework for building a graph...yuo can have a look at follwoing programs in SE38. But these involve more coding than above part.

How can I change the ToolTip bg and fg colors?

I have a JTree, and I want to display a textual description for each node as a tooltip. I want the tooltip to appear with a certain bgcolor, and fgcolor.
I have a CustomCellRenderer extending DefaultTreeCellRenderer with getTreeCellRendererComponent() method. Inside this, i am setting the ToolTipText..
I want to change the color of the tip thats displayed.

ADF DVT: Stack Bar Graph unable to display all Bar.

I'm currently having a problem displaying bar graphs in my Use Case.
There are unavoidable instance that at some point of the information provided, there may be part that contain a very huge data.
Below is my sample code.
In the example code below only the detail with huge data is rendered in the graph. and the rest are not rendered. is this a known issue?

This is not an issue with the graph as such, but the data issue. Since the value of the data that is being displayed is huge and other datas are relatively very small to occupy the graph area (Ex : 60105 Vs 10).
You may want to try implementing zoomListener and/or zoomScrollListener for the graph to zoom and see the small datas.

I am using jdev 11.1.1.6
i have created a combination graph which has a bar and line.
The data with respect to bar and graph were only visible when i keep the mouse pointer on it.
i need to set the values visible always.
kindly let me know how to make it.
In pie graph its by default showing the data always.

10g Graphs - How to customize the default color of a Bar Graph

I've posted this thread in Reports section, have received no reply yet. Maybe no one has ever tried this before!!
I am porting a couple of 6i OGD's to 10g graphics.
Basically I am invoking reports from a form. The reports contains embedded Graph.
Here comes the tricky part.
I have a couple of Graphs in 6i that display each bar of a bar graph in different color.
Example:
Value       Bar Color
Critical     Red
Major       Orange
Minor       Yellow
None       GrayQ) I want to know how to set the color of each bar of a bar graph based on the value it takes. i,e If it's critical the bar should be displayed in red. If it's major, the bar should be displayed in orange.
I added conditional formatting in 10g Graph, and this is the trigger that was created.

Why don't you use the build-in charting capability of reports 10g instead? There is FormsGraph.jar implementation for forms but that might not have the flexibility of what 6i graphs has/had and not "officially" supported - not like the reports 10g charting capability (which is built in and can be customized by editing the related xml files (if necessary). Note: FormsGraph.jar has it's own limitations

How to configure the outline color of a bar in a graph

I have a user who has a graph with many datapoints. He wants these to be bars, but with so many datapoints on the graph, the bar outlines are more prevalent than the set bar colors. I am unable to locate where the outline color of a bar in a graph is determined. I have reviewed available graph styles, but there are no graph style without borders. Also, I cannot find where I can create a custom graph style to see if I could create one without borders. I'm using 10.1.2.3. Does anyone know how I can remove the outlines?

I want the cursor to be in the address bar when creating a new window; it works for new tabs and in a new private window, but not in safe mode.

I have tried following the advice offered in the few different threads I have found on this but nothing fixes it. I want the cursor to be in the address bar when I open a new window and/or when firefox opens without restoring a previous session. I fixed the issue for new tabs via about:config but this doesn't work for new windows. I tried safe mode and the problem persists. In new private windows the cursor is in the address bar.

The search box in about:home steals the cursor. Changing your home page to something else will cause the cursor to start in the address bar for new windows.

How do I stop firefox from sending a message or note that " do I want this program to change my computer?" It changes some of the settings in my computer; like the color of my task bar changed and other settings too.

Before nothing happened until just recently when box messages would appear and tell me to click "yes or no" if I want the program to change my laptop. I clicked "No", but sometimes it didn't work, and when it didn't work. When it failed, fire fox changed some of the settings in my laptop. For example, the task bar's color would be changed. Also, it seemed as if fire fox had changed some of the settings into an old version. Yesterday I restarted my laptop, and it just went back to normal like nothing happened. But, for a few minutes later, the box will appear and you have to click yes or no. I clicked the "x" button, and it just changed automatically.

Not sure whether for instance you initially had a Yahoo optimised version of Firefox, and have now overwritten it with an official Mozilla version. Although the Mozilla version should NOT add unwanted features, but the Yahoo version may well do.
If you merely need to find the Yahoo emails page quickly just add it as a bookmark or as a bookmark on the Bookmarks toolbar and make sure that is visible.
Clicking the star icon on the location bar whilst looking at your emails will bookmark the page.

I am using firefox 4.0 in mac. Whenever I go to the korean site, the language bar switches automatically to korean from english, but if I am back to english based site, the language still keep korean. I don't want the language bar switches automatically depending on the site until I change it manually. It's very annoying. Thank you.

I don't know why it says that I use firefox 4... When I check in my About window it says 18.
I do ignore the message about the plugins. But I've started to get a little bit annoyed that I have to move up and press the little x every time I navigate to a site that needs something like flash. It eats up the size of about two text rows... it feels so unnecessary that it's there. If I want flash I will install it... The browser doesn't have to inform me about it every time.
I really hoped for a better answer. Hopefully the firefox crew will add an option to not show that kind of messages in the future.
