The spell checker identifies incorrect spelled words, however when I right click or control click the word the spell checker only highlights in yellow the first word in the email and gives a dialog with the spelling and definition even though that word already correctly spelled. ENDI agree with other comments that you should do this with specifying that the column is NOT NULL to prevent it from being NULL and a constraint if you don't want it to be blank (spaces or the empty string - note that the empty string is not the same thing
as NULL).
But for completeness, the reason your trigger does not ever allow you to enter a row is the code

Since you don't have a begin/end block after IF, the only conditionally executed statement is the one immediately following the IF (that is the PRINT). So the Rollback is always executed whether or not the IF is true and so all updates are rejected.
So if you were to do this in a trigger you could do something like the following

Query only works on the first word of the managed property
I have several managed properties that are not returning query results as expected, they are returning results only if the term queried matches
the first word in the property, any other query returns no results.
Scenario:
filename = "Sample Excel File.xlsx" (OOTB property)
FooOwner = "Martin Zima"
FooSiteName = "Test Site"
If I query filename:Sample, filename:File, filename:Excel (or any combination) they all works as expected. However, if I query "FooOwner:Martin"
it works, but if I query FooOwner:Martin Zima it fails, and FooOwner:Zima also fails. Similarly, if I search for FooSiteName:Site it fails (only CPSiteName:Test works). Everything seems ok in the crawled property and managed property. Can anyone please help?Hi Martin,

We are using EBS 12.1.3. When we input a sales order from a customer we input the sales order and specify the date the customer wants it. This isn't always the date that we intend on manufacturing it though. I need to put a customer due date in, but be able to put a date in another field that MRP can read in the event we choose to manufacture based on another date. For example, early.

Plz help me, I need this very soon.Assuming that you want to display pages in the format '<current Page> of <total pages>' I would suggest you construct your code something this:
1) In your TOP-OF-PAGE, display the current page normally during every new page using the variable SY-PAGNO.
Eg. WRITE AT: 120(003) SY-PAGNO,
125(2) 'of'.
2) Then finally capture SY-PAGNO to a variable, say TOTPAGE = SY-PAGNO. (Or have a counter that increment everytime a TOP-OF-PAGE is encountered).
3) After all the pages are populated, the variable mentioned in the above step will have the total pages.
4) In your END-OF-SELECTION, use the following code after all the report generating stmts like 'WRITE', 'SKIP' are used:
DO TOTPAG TIMES.
<X> denotes the line in which your '<SY-PAGNO> of <TOTPAGE>' appear
READ LINE <X> OF PAGE SY-INDEX LINE VALUE INTO G_LINE.
Now move the total pages into the appropriate columns of the line (in our case it may be 128(5) - assuming 5 digit value for max pages)
G_LINE+128(5) = TOTPAG.
MODIFY LINE <X> OF PAGE SY-INDEX LINE VALUE FROM G_LINE.
ENDDO.
This modifies the total page value in all the pages displayed.

How to display amount in words in the last page
Hi,
I am very new to Oracle Report, but v.good experience in Crystal report.
How can i display amount in words for an invoice amount total in the last page of the invoice and after total amount. I created a new non repeating frame and put the amount in words inside that, and set the frames diplay property Print on Last Page, but the problem is already there is a repeating frame to print all the invoices item, and the total in figure. But the amount in words frame is not always coming after the total amount,either it should be at the bottom of the last page in fixed position, otherwise it should move just below the total amount.
I am using Oracle 11g.

Want to display only certain manully created master data in F4 help?
Hello all,
We have created a Z infoobject (Char 10) and included in our cube. This Infoobject is mapped directly from DSO from another infoobject which has dates, when I see the data in the cube it looks good for this infoobject.
Now my requirement is, I have created a variable on this IO in the query and I want the users to see in the F4 help only the values that I manually maintain in the master data (I am creating master data records)
In the Bex Explorer tab of RSD1, I have selected "Values in Master Data table" and it shows me the values that I have created manually and also the values that got loaded in the cube from transaction data.
What is the setting I can use so the F4 shows only the values that I want users to see.
Any suggestions.

Are you using 3.5 or 7.0 query designer?
If it is 7.0 query designer then you can see the option "refresh variable as designed"
But if you choose this option "values from the master data" it should work.
I've used in my projects this option verymuch. it worked.
Other than that you may change the query generated program in SE38, to select the F4 options in the Variable.
OR
You can keep Default values in the variable for the User.

Display only one variable in the header and not column in WAD

my requirement is to be able to display only one variable in the report output header and hide the others. I am able to display all by using the INFO FIELD ITEM and saying variable display ON - but the requirement is very specific for only one variable display.
how can i achieve this ?

You can insert a text item and Turn off the others or Hide these from Filter pane I have done that and then use that query for your WAD.
Steps:
1. Uncheck all the variables from your Design item in Analyzer.
2. Insert a New Text Item and check the Variable you want to display.
3. Go back and run the Query.
Even you can change the position in the Query and Save as a workbook.Let me know ,if this works.

I want to print a calendar by specifying the date range
I want to be able to print from ICal in a 4 week block but not by month. Our calendar is updated regularly and I want to be able to print out the forward 4 weeks, not this month which gives me dates already past.
And I do not want to print out 4 individual weeks.
I know how to print Month and Week but these don't do it for me.
How can I specify a date range?
