I want to help to Install DataBase of Oracle 9i

I have download oracle 9i from this page
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oracle9i/htdocs/winsoft.html
and I download all the files in this page , But i do not know from any file the installing is start and what the meaning of other files, can any one tell me, Please?

There are having installation direction, So what's your problem of installation?
Directions
     1. Before downloading, please review the product certification information for this product.
     2. Also see the Quick Start Guide reference list (Metalink).
     3. Verify that the filesizes listed on this page match the downloaded files on your local disk.
     4. Create directories Disk1, Disk2 and Disk3.
     5. cd to Disk1 and unzip the 92010NT_Disk1.zip here.
     6. repeat the above step for Disk2 and Disk3.
     7. After unzipping all the 3 disks in their respective directories, cd to Disk1 and run setup.exe to start the installer.

After this problem cleared i installed the oracle database; while installing i found another error

2. You want to install RAC or single instance? If you want to have RAC than choose real application cluster other way go wiht single instance

Tech Support Does Not Want To Help

OK, Does anyone know if Technical Support reads these threads or is anyone who reads these in Tech Support?
I was told by Tech Support 9 days ago that I was being escalated to the next level to figure out why I could not install the Creative Suites 4 Web Premium SE software. And that was the end of Tech Support's help. Their answer when you call back is wait longer. What the heck is that???
I used to think Dell had the worst Tech Support, NOT ANY MORE. Adobe is by far the worst and the least knowledgeable and/or least trained!!!!!
Seriously, if you want to help me install CS4 software, YOU NEED TO BE TALKING TO ME!!!!! You need to be looking at what my computer is saying in response to what is being tried.
I am an average user, not a computer expert. I can not get this software to install on my own. So Tech Support, if you are out there, HELP ME!!!

   I have: a 2.2GHZ processor, 2.0GB of RAM and about 15GB of free Space.
What more would be helpful to know?

I know I bought the whole Wed Design Suite, but what I need at the moment
is Photoshop Extended for one of my classes.
I hate to keep complaining about Adobe, but they are like a Black Box with
no time concerns.

I know that Orcale 10g express edition have only one Database which is installed by default sid 'XE', but my database must have another name.

Installing Elements 11 on Mac 10.8.2. Need help with install error: Setup wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this." After entering Adobe password, nothing happens. Locked from further installation. Any ideas? Adobe phone support could not help.

Just before letting changes (installation in this case) be made on the system, Mac OS prompts for password & this has to be the Mac system password. This password prompt is the system's own native prompt & would accept the system password only. Please make sure it is the right system password (all/admin rights) and the installaion should run.

now i am using oracle 11g 11.2.0.0 database with default options and default parameters.OS is RHEL linux 5.5 Machine is intel dual core 3.2 with 4 Gb Ram.memory_target is 1568M
sga_max_size is 1568M.Company plan to install Database in IBM server with Quard core processor , 32 GB Ram and RAID 5 storage.what things should i increase for the new installation(kernel parameters, db parameters, sga etc..) based on the server requirement. i am new to database please help me

My recommendation would be to remove the MEMORY_TARGET parameter and stick with the tried and tested SGA_TARGET and PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET parameters. If this is the only database running on the server and you have 32GB RAM, I would bump up the total of the SGA and PGA to around 28GB, leaving some for the OS. Depending on what kind of DB it is and what load you have, will depend on how you share the SGA and PGA memory.
If you are happy with performance and all your queries then leave the parameters as they are. Take a look at an AWR report for your database over a representative period of time when there is peak load and check out how it looks. If it's not good, you might want to tweak some of the DB parameters, but if it's OK apart from one or two queries then you would need to tune those individually.

i'm using oracle database9i with developer 6i and i want to deliver an application was mad by this tools i know that i should setup the database and forms runtim only in at the customer computer the application -at the first- will work at only on one computer ,this computer will run as the client\server
my question is
if i can setup the database as run time only or i must setup complete at the customer computer?
i tried to do that by choosing this option when installing database
1-Oracle9i Client 9.2.0.1.0
2-Run tim
but after making this i can't connect with database

Hi Balaji,
Stop the installtion then log into SAP with the User SAP* with password - "06071992" then change the DDIC password to whatever you want.
Once done restart the install and continue to the stage where you need to install the DDIC password, enter the changed password and the installation will continue without errors.

case 1: I want to install only one oracle database in a computer (Server) and other computers can connect and using it. I try to install oracle database in a computer (this is a Server computer). But database is used for this computer, other computers can't connect and using it.

The chipset driver you can get on the Intel webiste

But I think the driver could also be in the display driver because its the same chip.
The WLAN driver I have found on the Toshiba website so download and install it.
The speech system could be integrated in the sound driver.
But download and install all drivers and the system will work.

Need help in installing a SATA hard drive with 865pe NEO2

I need a help in installing a Sata hard drive ,it is WD 250 GB , my motherboard is 865PE Noe2 , the bios is the latest one
already I got another old hard drive ,not a Sata ,a regular IDE one installed as a master hard drive
I want to install the sata hd as a slave for the IDE hd for now to transfer the files and documents
I already physically installed the Sata hard drive yet the problem is that it was listed in the bios , I followed some of the steps here in the forum mentioned but all what I got is I found it listed as the fourth IDE master , not as the primary IDE slave
in Windows Xp Sp2 it is not listed of course in the windows explorer , but it is there in the device manager
look I am very confused and I tried most of the combinations in the ide configuration in BIOS
what should I do coz I am feeling so bad and stupid ,you can consider me a n00b in this hard drive thing

1st the sata drive cannot be listed as a slave drive to the ide master [key word=ide-can be configured as master OR slave, master IF only 1 hd, master and slave IF 2 hds], on the sata controler you can have master and slave, the ide cable has two connectors for the hds, sata has only 1 hd connector.
are you wanting to install the sata as primary master and move the operating sys to that drive, if so you will need an IMAGING software to move an operating system OR you could do a fresh operating system install to the sata drive then install your programs.
