I hope you all are well. I am new to this so please kindly help me if you can. I am goin to take the ACMT exam very soon and planning to undertake 2 x exams i.e. 10.7 troubleshoot 9L0-063 exam as well as 9L0-010. Is there any training material other than the Apple official material (I bought it already)? Have you guys done the ACMT? What is the format of it? Is there any material do you have that you think you can help me with?

You're right, it would have been covered under warranty. But because of the user damage, chances are there's a 200-something dollar fee . If you explain to them that it had a defect previously, they might replace it for you at no charge. **MIGHT**. But they would have to believe that it had a defect previously.

Corruption flashing on screen in the preview - can anyone advise?

Can someone help me please! im fairly new to the forums often read and from that resolve issues but this I wouldnt even know what to search... Editing my footage and this 2 minutes ago appeared?? I exported the clip to check and its absolutely fine, I dont get this corrupt look on the screen, I closed this project - opened an existing one and same again! This hasnt happened before I dont know what to do...can anyone advise please?
Ive cleaned the media cache, ive exported to check and the file appears fine, ive quit premiere pro and reopened it and still there.... weirdly the corruption is flashing on and off even though i am not playing the video.

yes google chrome is my set as my browser and I did as you instructed which was clicking off the hardware acceleration
I would disable all hardware acceleration, using software as the renderer and see if all the glitches go away.
What other hardware accelerations (if any other than chrome would you advise)
If the glitches only show up when either CUDA or OpenCL are chosen as the renderer, and you have the Premiere app open or in the background, then it's probably this driver issue.
at the moment I have left the OpenCL as the renderer and have not changed it to software or CUDA... yet... ive turned off chrome hardware acceleration ... do you think I should see how that goes if i encounter problems again then change the renderer?
Funny you mentioned premiere pro in the background as I was on my internet browser (chrome) and looking on emails - yahoo - you know in email you can have a banner AD on the side of your mail...that had the same issue of the graphics inside that banner box with glitches.

Yes, this is the proper work-around as a tech solution. Make sure you have your other purchases all downloaded cause you'll lose them from the cloud too whe you revert back.

You can't hide folders, but you can buy apps, like Toudh Me Not, that work like folders for videos, photos, docs, etc. that you can password protect. But the app is still visibil on the home screen.

It's real easy to create a new one and, in fact, it's too easy. I say that because multiple IDs are a PIA. The problem is that anything obtained from the iTunes Store is PERMANENTLY associated with the ID that was used to obtain the item(s). iTunes items can not be transferred from one ID to another and IDs can not be merged.
The problem arises when you want to update an app. If you're doing it from iTunes on your computer, you must log out and back in to get to the correct ID. Then you update and log out/in again to get back to where you started. It's slightly easier if you update from the iPad/iPod device as there is no need to log out/in BUT you still need the correct password for the appropriate ID. Of course, with a disabled ID, the problem is much worse!
A replacement Apple ID makes sense ONLY if you wish to start out absolutely brand new with zero iTunes Store purchases.
If you're really butting your head aginst a wall and you're reasonably close to an Apple Store, my suggestion is that you make an appointment with the resident "Genius" and get his/her help.
One last thought... If your brother actually got a human on the phone to dispute the charges, go there and explain the problem. Of course, if Apple did not accept his explanation of what occurred, that could be the whole issue. Apple believes that money is owed on the account!

I then click SIGN IN, but then it says "Unknown error", then I click OK, then it says "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)". How do I get rid of all info of other people's IDs so I can get the app through my account again?
The app that I'm trying to download actually might have been a pirated app. But I deleted it, so why is it not letting me get it through my account?

I have the same problem , i've converted my videos to mp4 , by using different programmes and tried to open them in itunes but it didnt .
Some people suggested the following although it didnt help me , it might help you
One suggested to paste the videos that you want in automatically add to itune ( go to your music folder m then click on itunes , then itunes media , and you will find it there )
Others suggested to o to the ontrol panal , then programmes and features m then lick on quick time (. Or itunes) then Change then repair

You cannot call anyone. You contact them as everyone else does: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual.
