I want to use Icloud on my iphone, ipad, desktop and labtop, but 2 have different account names- can I merge my apple ids or find a way to connect them all?

I want to connect all of my computers together but over the years I must have created 2 accounts. Is there a way to merge accounts or sign in in all of them the under the same account.
If by "merge accounts" you mean merge iTunes accounts (using your Apple ID), then the answer is no. If you bought songs, apps, etc. using both accounts over time, then your are stuck. You need to choose one account for your iTunes.

My iPhone 5s (16GB) is stuck with 3948 photos (shown on the iTunes storage bar) on and I can not find a way to delete them all! If they were put there via iTunes sync process, then simply untick the Music box before syncing again.

I want to use iCloud between iMac, iPhone and iPad
I want to use iCloud. When I change a document on my iPad or iPhone, the new document appears on the iPad and iPhone but not on my mac. Also when I change it on my mac it does´t appears on the others. It does´t work automatically with my mac. What´s wrong. Can you help me, please?
On the iPad and iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Documents & Data off then back on the reset the devices.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
On your iMac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deelect the box next to Documents & Data then reselect it then restart your iMac.
Hopefully everything will sync now. -
For a brief time when iPhone 4, iOS 4 came out, many of us ended up with two Apple IDs. I want to know if anyone can please provide me with simple step-by-step instructions on merging two Apple IDs into one? It would make transferring purchases on iTunes much easier and reliable. I realize i desperately need an iOS update, but i had no laptop for over two years! I'm posting a cry for help on that in another community. Thank you all.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs. -
Captivate 8 wants to use Media Encoder CC as a default and I only have Media Encoder CS6

Yesterday I switched from Captivate 7 to 8.
Usually I'm using FLV's which get converted to MP4 on HTML5 Export.
Captivate 8 tries to start Media Encoder CC, which I don't have and then crashes. Except for Captivate I've got the CS6 Master Collection installed.
There don't seem to be an option in the preferences to change which program should be used to convert.
Any tips?I just tried this and updates for CS6 and CC were downloaded and installed.
Captivate still tries to start CC and failes, but now I can lock into the error report:

Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libcurl.4.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder CC/Adobe Media Encoder CC.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/dvacaptioning.framework/Versions/A/dvacaptioning

So if I get this right, my MacPro is finally too old, as I can't install a newer OS on this -
Things have just kind of escalated. We started with the ipad and she really liked it. Then we were given an itv and it worked so nicely with the ipad, that we decided to get her an iphone. We've been buying music, tv shows, movies, taking photos, looking at them on the tv using photostream. But now I'm getting an iphone and plan to by a macbook or mac mini some time soon, and I'm wondering how I can setup my own account but still have all this really nice seamless sharing across devices. If I buy an album on my phone, I'd like to be able to play it on the itv (which is setup with my wifes account). And so forth.
I hope I've explained my concern and someone can point out how to set things up so that things remain as seamless and easy as they are now.

Can Single Use License be installed on both desktop and labtop

I purchased a single use lincese Leopard OS 10.5 last year to upgrade my Mac desktop. I also have an iBook with 10.3.9 (Panther)that I haven't used for years. Recently I tried upgrading my ibook to 10.5 but the disc kept running and running for hours without installing anything. All I see was a bright white screen with a running circle in the middle. Is single use upgrade disc only good for one upgrade?

The Apple Software License Agreement allows you to use an installer to install to one computer. So long as the software is installed on one computer it may not legally be installed on a second computer.

I used different email addresses when I signed up for my iPod and my iPhone. I would like to use only ONE email address for both devices. When I try to edit, it tells me there is already a user with that address (hint: I know that!). Does anyone know how to sync two email accounts into one? Thanks,
When I go into my account settings and try to change my old hotmail address to my current Yahoo! address, it tells me "That email address is already used as an Apple ID." Yeah, I know that. I set up the account that I'd really, really, like to have together, but it won't let me go further. End of activity! It is trusting that my email account and password are correct b/c it will let me make purchases, etc., so it's not like it is preventing fraud or anything. Summary: iPod = Yahoo!, iPhone = hotmail, would like to have both reflect my Yahoo! address.

Any answers are appreciated! ThanksYou would have to change it back to your old email address in order to turn off "Find My iPhone" on your devices. After you changed it back to your old address and deactivated "Find My iPhone" (activation lock) you could change your Apple ID to your new address again. Now it should wok on all your devices.

This is a MAJOR annoyance at 4am.... also, I have noticed that when I open my email for the first time daily, it will suddenly beep and vibrate a few times in a row and my emails are suddenly "updated"...
HOW CAN I TELL WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY PHONE AS FAR AS NOTIFICATION ALERTS? I have looked at everything and nothing seems to be "on" in notifications in the SETTINGS.... help please..

Thank you. That was it. Even though I had badges and banner off, I noticed that "Notifications" at the top was still on (in Settings).

I bought an iphone in Singapore from SingTel but have hardware failure ( it can't be turn on at all after 2 moths of usage)..
1) what shall I do? Shall I go to the apple care to repair/replace it? or go back to SingTel?
2) I head from friend that the singapore iphone model is always end with ZA, if I replace my phone will I get back the same Singpore orginal ZA version or it will be some refribushed version from USA such as model end with LL from AT&T?
3) where can I get a official copy of the country vs iphone model from apple website?

You address it with whomever provides service in your country... whether that is Apple or the carrier.

Seriously? Why in the world would Apple ship a carrier locked AT&T iPhone to Singapore to replace your device? Apple, or the carrier that provides warranty service provides replacements appropriate for your country. They do not ship warranty replacements around the world.
Also, I think your friend is full of manure. iPhone model numbers do not vary around the world, at least I've never seen or heard of that sillyness.

No such listing exists.
Bottom line... ignore your friend (they obviously have no clue what they are talking about) and contact your carrier or Apple in Singapore and address the warranty replacement with them. -

If I understand you correctly, you want to limit to limit your use of the Messages application to non-iCloud sources such as text messaging through your phone carrier, is that right?
You can turn off the use of iMessages in Settings > Messages > iMessage. See this help article -
