I would like to use icloud on my mac which has snow leopard, so do I really need to update to snow lion, is it worth it and if so, how do I do it?

Ok, so how do I get icloud on this snow leapord imac? Is it worth updating to lion, and if so how do I do it?

If you need iCloud, you need Lion. You buy it from the App Store for $29.99.
If you are running Snow Leopard, your system already meets the minimum specfications for Lion. However, the 2 GB minimum memory requirement is generally considered inadequate. 4 GB is a more realistic minimum; 8 GB for Lion to be comfortable.
