Iam trying Mysql in weblogic 5.0 ERRR

Error Msg received is :

This could occur if the JDBC driver is not in the weblogic.class.
path.
If this is a type-2 JDBC driver, it may also indicate that
the Driver native layers(DBMS client lib or driver DLL)
have not been installed properly on your system or in your enviro

1. The native layer SO, SL, or DLL could not be found.

Hi !
Please check the following:
1. Can you access your MySql database on the command line ? It could be a privilege problem connecting as that user, from that host or to that database...
2. Do you load your mm.mysql driver with
Class.forName ("org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver").newInstance(); ?
I had some problems of that kind with that driver for not using the newInstance method.
3. Try copying the driver to your application directory and run your application with the -cp mmMySqlDriver parameter. I had problems with referencing the driver in the CLASSPATH environment variable on a Windows NT machine, but it worked fine when I used the -cp switch.
