IB- Downloading the file and send it to the user

Hello BW gurus,
I have a question. I have automated the ECC Z table loading process. Like I have a program which will run the ztable update process logic and will update the table and after that it will raise an event in the BW system. Based on the event the process chain will be triggered.
After the BW data load. I want to add an extract step like run the query and then download the file in excel format and send an email to the user. I know this has to be done by information broadcasting. I haven't looked at the documentation. Maybe you guys can explain to me like how to acheive this in the process chain.

And it would be in your email's Sent folder (not Adobe Send's). If you look at https://cloud.acrobat.com/sentfiles, does it show that the file has been Viewed? If the Views column shows a 0, then nobody has yet viewed it. If you're concerned, you can select the file by clicking the check box, then select Unshare. Why read d'information into the card and send these to the database

hi hello world,
i have an application where i must take some informations to the customer in their electronic card and send this informations to the database. so, in want : 1. buy the card reader which i dont know where i can buy this, 2. i must buy the card which will contain the customer informations, and 3. how put (read) informations contain into the card to my card reder and send those informations to the database.

Not sure what you are referring to, there is no iCloud icon and you don't send apps to the cloud.

When I download something from the Web, the "Downloads" window opens, but the window remains blank. Before it used to at least show the name of the file and I could open the file from the "Downloads" window. Is there a way to get this functionality back?

I'm running Windows XP which is updated to latest version (which I think might be Service Pack 3, but not positive.) Mozilla Firefox is version 5.0. I tend to use Google as my search engine so most of the stuff I download comes through sites found through Google, which is also updated.
At some time in the past (maybe a few versions ago) when I would download a file from the Web, the "Downloads" window would open and in the window would be displayed the name of the file I was downloading or had just completed downloading. I think I used to be able to then click on that file name and the file (or the installation file if needed to start the new program) would open. I am currently using Firefox 5.0 (the "About Firefox" screen says this is up to date) and when I download a file or document, the "Downloads" window appears on the screen as it always has in the past, but it remains blank, i.e., nothing appears in the downloads box. I don't remember making any configuration changes, etc., that may have caused the window to remain blank, but I could be mistaken. I know how to find the items I've downloaded (My Documents / Downloads) and can usually guess what the name of the downloaded file might be, but it used to be much easier when something (anything) showed up in the downloads window.

How to break the file and send it to 2 different formats??

My scenario is i have a file with multiple records on the sender side and i have 1 receiver business system and have to receive the data in 2 formats, one is in JDBC and other in xml format. my condition is if field is equal to 'ECC' then the data should be send to JDBC and if element is not equal to 'ECC' then data should be send to xml format.
for example, if a file has 2 records('ECC & ECC1) then 'ECC' record has to be stored in JDBC and 'ECC1' record should be send to xml format.
tell me what to do in the mapping side. hope u guys understood my problem.
if possible send me screenshots of the mapping.

Just use two different message types in ur mapping!!!
Write the condition if (A = ECC ){Map to Structure A}
else if (A = ECC1){Map to Structure B}
Once you are generating all the required ECCs in Message Type A and then All ECC1s in Message Type B,
It is just configuration stuff where you will have common sender Agreement, receiver determination and also interface determination but the only thing that will separate these two is your receiver agreement.
You have to use two service interfaces for this, one for Structure A and another for Structure B.
I have done similar stuff 2 yrs back!!!
Please let me know if you require anything on this.

I need a fix for downloads on Mac. Currently only downloading .part files and can't find the problem.

I am struggeling to download files in any format (i.e. pdf, dmg etc.). It deosn't bring up the download list anymore and in finder under downloads, it has the following suffix eg. xxx.pdf.part. The file size is usually 0 bites. Any advice?
Another comment on this forum back in 2009 suggests donloading applejack. This did not seem to fix the problem and the latest version only indicates support up to Leopard. I am currently running Lion... so a little nervous downloading this.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated, since I am highly dependent on this facility for my studies and other activities!!

The first step is to disable or remove that download manager entirely. That in itself is a likely cause of your problem.
The following can be tried in any order:
— disable all the other extensions in your browsers and try again.
— are you running any AV software or using Little Snitch? If so, disable those. You'll probably also have to kill those in Activity monitor, as both run background helper processes that run when the main app isn't and can interfere with network connections.
— look in your Login Items in
 > System Preferences > Users & Groups | Login Items
and remove any 3rd party apps that are there. Restart the computer and test again.
If you've tried all those and still have the problem, report back.

Rename the zip file and send it using the Receiver Mail Adapter

Hi,
We have a custom module that will create multiple attachments. The result is then passed to the PayloadZipBean, which zips as per required.
When we output this to a file adapter, we provide the file name as say "zippedfile.zip" the result is as expected.
For example, if the custom module created 3 attachments with the names as file1.txt, file2.txt and file3.txt, the zip file zippedfile.zip, will contain 3 files as file1.txt, file2.txt and file3.txt.
The issue that we are facing is when we use the mail adapter, the zip file is getting renamed to file1.txt.zip i.e to say that it takes the name of the main payload from the custom module (file1.txt)
TextPayload txtpayload = message.getDocument();
txtpayload.setContentType("text/plain");
txtpayload.setName("file1.txt");
moduleData.setPrincipalData(message);
We tried using the MessageTransformbean but it doesn't seem to change the name of the file.
Not sure where we are going wrong. Is it that the output of the payloadzipbean cannot be used and altered by MessageTransformbean?
Is there any alternative as to rename the name of zipfiles and use it in the mail adapter?
Appreciate any help on this regard.

How to get data from pdf file and send contents of the pdf file to R/3

Action:
1. Make a pdf forms (interactive form) with inputfield named A_inputfield in the webdynpro application and run the webdynpro application.
2. In the IE, click the save button in the pdf interactive form and save the pdf to local disk,ex: C disk. Close the IE browser.
3. Open the pdf interactive form from the local C disk and type "aaa" to the A_inputfield.
4. I want to save the "aaa" to the R/3 system using webdynpro or using other tools . How can I do it?
First way:
If I use webdynpro application to save the content of the pdf, I don't find a way mapping or binding the content to a context of a view. So I don't think this way is unadvisable.
Second way:
Adding a button "submit" in the pdf forms when create the pdf form. Runing the webdynpro application, save the pdf to local disk,ex: C disk. Opening the pdf interactive form from the local c disk and typing "aaa" to the A_inputfield, click the "submit" button to save the content. Of course, I need to finish the code for clicking "submit" button. But I don't know how to write these codes and where to write these codes. Do you give me some advise ?

Uploading DOC,PDF etc files and sending it to External user

    I m facing problem in sending doc,pdf,excel files to an external user on his personal email id (gmail,yahoo,etc)as an attchmnent.
    While creating Claim ( T code:- CLM1) the user will attach a file and I want to send it to the external Email ID using 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' .
    Currently I m not been able to find out the location where the file is getting stored.
Please guide me on that

I saw your question and after reading Tamo's blog, here is the answer to your questions:
1. how you should initialize the outputstream.
you do not initialize the outputStream, the Weblogic container does that for you, the call response.getOutputStream() returns a ready to use stream.
2. what should I do with the outputstream after that, I mean how to show to user. do I need another conversion from outputstream to another datatype File forexample.
you simply flush the output to the client, and the client will render the blob depending on the mimeType. since the output stream writes to the response that is sent back to the client.
by the way, those two questions has more to do with J2EE than ADF.

Read an XML file and send it to client

I'm introducing to servlet development and I'm trying to do some AJAX calls. The client side is implemented, but I have some troubles on the server side. I want to open an XML file and send it to the client. How can I do that? Any special header?
I have implemented this test in PHP, so you can imagine what I would like to do:

Read the file and write the data into string or int

Ok, here's another rookie question.
I got to read the line from the file and store it in the memory as string or integer.
I wrote this code:

String outputString = new String();

StringWriter d1 = new StringWriter(outputString);

         d1.close();This is how I see it, but it cannot be even compiled because there is no such thing as StringWriter(String) wich I find completely irrational. So tell me, am I retarded or what? No, but seriosly, please help the newbie to understand these streams, am I supposed to use some kind of buffer? Any help appreciated.

A String is an immutable. You cannot update a String.
A new String() is basically the same as an empty String ""
An empty StringWriter can be created with new StringWriter().
If you use a BufferedReader you can call readLine().
BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(filename));
String line;
while((line = in.readLine()) != null) {
System.out.println(line);
}
