IC Webclient complaints layout

Dear Experts
CRM 5.0,
We are making use of  standard complaint functionality in the IC webclient. We have a scenario where we need to manually add products in the item details of the complaint document but the item area is display only. We are unable to add products in the complaint item area even though in the regular GUI, we can do this.
Please advise.

Set up an action (immediate processing ) based on the status you mentioned which will create an order of the transaction type of your complaint .

  • Enhancement set deletion problem

    Hi All,
             I have used enhancement set to add context node 'BTSubject' in BT160I_CPL/ComplItem view and got  exceptions in webclient complaints screen. So i deleted this enhancement in BT160I_CPL/ComplItem, since then i have been getting the following error in the webclient complaints screen.
    Cannot display view BT160I_CPL/ComplItem
    An exception has occurred Exception Class  CX_BSP_INV_ATTR_NAME - BSP exception: An attribute with the name "BTSUBJECT" is not defined

    I want to do routing of complaints in IC Webclient. Say a  complaint is handled by one employee, and depending on the status, he wants to route it to another employee. Can this be done using actions. Please let me know the configuration steps.

    Can you please give me more detailed configuration steps for complaints in code and code group profiles in SPRO.
    Also for the category modeler and rule modeler. Actually I am not able to launch the rule modeler.
    I tried using Start the SAP easy access menu.
    (2) Right mouse click on Favorites --> Add other object.
    (3) Choose 'CRM BSP Application'.
    (4) Select application 'CRMM_ERM_RULES' and confirm.
    Then it tries to launch the rule modeler but nothing comes up
    when i try to refresh the screen it just closes the application. Is there any prior configuration that needs to be done. 
    Can you please let me know.

  • Matrix layout in IC WebClient

    We would like to use the newer and much easier matrix layout in our customised views of the ICWC but this requires DESIGN2003. The IC WebClient is built on DESIGN2002 and this dependency seems deeply imbedded inside the standard IC WebClient application. Simply changing the profile_depend.htm, default.htm, main0.htm and other files to use DESIGN2003 didn't work and results in BSP errors.
    Is this feasible and what is involved?

    Yes, after looking into it more I came up with the same impression. The IC WebClient seems tightly dependent on the DESIGN2002 rendering engine and there doesn't seem to be an upgrade path short of a rewrite of the ICWC in WebDynpro.

  • Field Priority (complaints) not editable en SAPGIU(CRMD_ORDER)and WebClient

    may be somebody knows because the field "Priority" is not modificable when creating a complaint in CRMD_ORDER? In my case when i am doing a complaint there is this field with the values:
    1 Very High
    2 High
    3 Medium
    4 Low
    Why is this field existing, when it can not modify it? Where in Customizing I can make this field modificable?

    I would like to update here the correct steps as we spend considerable time to explore and enable the Priority in SAP GUI
    1. Goto - SPRO - CRM - Transactions - Basic Settings - Define Transaction Types
    2. Highlight your Transaction type -Then click on " Assignment of Business Transaction Categories this should bring to next screen "Transaction Categories"
    3. Click on " BUS2000126 Business Activity ' if you do have Click on New entries to ADD
    4. Then highlight BUS2000126 Business Activity then click on Customization Header then click "New Entries"
    5. Here under Default Data " Priority " can be enabled to preset value or user can choose in CRMD_ORDER

  • Sending manual Email creates a follow up document of type Complaint.

    Here are the steps which I have followed:
    1. I login to IC WebClient and create a complaint. Close the Browser.
    2. Login back to the ICWebClient. Click on Inbox and open the last created complaint. Click on Email (On the NavBar) and manually send an email to any user. Click on End button and close the browser.
    3. Login back to the ICWebClient. Click on Inbox and do a search.
    You see there is another complaint document created which is actually a follow up document for the complaint which I have created. And this follow up document stores the email sent. <i>The problem is that two documents of type ‘complaint’ are getting created. One a main document and the other follow up document which stores the email sent.</i>
    What we want is if the agent sends an email for a complaint, then we want all the emails to be stored as part of that complaint transaction document.
    Am I missing any setting or is this is the standard behavior of SAP.

  • How can I stop OSX from changing my keyboard layout

    I have an English system, a French AZERTY keyboard (I live in France), and I work in five languages. I have three keyboard layouts installed, including French, of course (I use French numeric).
    After a recent update, OSX suddenly started changing my input layout against my wishes. I have always set my preferences to use the same keyboard in all documents unless I manually change it - so please don't tell me about that feature, I know about it. It's not the problem.
    It seems to want to revert to the system language (English) rather than the keyboard layout I've specified. I tried changing my interface language to French, and guess what? It wanted me to have the French keyboard layout!
    If some Apple engineer decided we should automatically have the same keyboard layout as our system language - this is bad UX. Some of us touch type (and therefore are used to one keyboard layout) and need for it to stay put. Others use different layouts with different character sets (Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Cyrilic, etc.). Don't force me to have the "convenient" setting automatically with no override. If there is a way to get around this problem, please tell us. I've seen lots of complaints around about this phenomenon, but no solutions so far. Not from Apple, and not from anyone else, either.

  • How to refer a field created at the paper layout?

    Hi,
    I created a field for total pages of a report in the paper layout.
    How do I refer to it in the formattrigger since I don't want to show it if there is only 1 page.
    I tried putting & or : in front of the field name but it is not valid since the field is not created in data model.

    You can't reference the total number of pages in any way (an often heard complaint on this forum).
    The workaround is to use srw.get_page_num on a format trigger of a field that you put at the end of the report. Then you know you are at the end of the report. If the page number is 1, you know there is only 1 page. Still a bit tricky how to use this in your case, but you may find a solution.

  • PSE 11 New layout - too far the opposite direction?

    I have been a long time user of Photoshop Elements, I think since version 2 or 3. I went from 6 to 10 earlier this year and have been working with a Trail version of 11 for a few days now. Overall, I like it, but like so many companies do, when they address a major concern of a large group of customers, they go too far in the opposite direction.
    Two major complaints about PSE up through 10 are that it is A) too dark and B) the control icons/text are too small and difficult to see. This is mostly a complaint of the visually impaired. (Which is an interesting side-discussion, given that photography is a visual art).
    Although I liked the dark layout, I tended to agre with most users about the latter complaint. The icons and text were difficult to see even for people with good vision. With PSE 11, I see the exact opposite, the layout is too bright for my tastes. After all, the purpose of this software is to work with images. A dark layout lets me focus on the image itself, and not be distracted by the controls.
    That much I can adapt to, but the bigger problem is the screen real estate taken up by the Tool Options. It's HUGE! Especially when working with images in a vertical format, which represent a significant percentage of my images. For example I love to play around with vertical panoramas, an often overlooked way to capture a scene such as tall trees, buildings, etc.
    I am finding myself constatnly havign to toggle back and forth between the Tool Options bar, and even with the F4 keyboard shortcut, it's a pain in the butt.
    So... my opinion is that Adobe fixed a couple big problems for a lot of users but went too far and created a different set of problems for many other users. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
    What I'd like to see are some different solutions:
    First of all, I'd like to see an option between dark and light layouts. Let users decide. Kinda like making the program skinnable, but not all that many options are needed.
    Or... how about an auto-dimming feature? When the mouse is hovered over the image area, while working with the various tools, automatically dim the surrounding panels and menu bars. Then, when you move over the panels and menus, they would return to normal.
    Second, find a better solution to the Tool Options bar. Either make it A) moveable, like the other panels, B) resizeable, or C) auto-hide it.
    At this point, I've almost decided that the size of that Tool Options Bar is a deal breaker and I won't upgrade. Vertical real estate is hard enough to find on computer monitors and Adobe took up 25% of what little I had. I'll wait for a future version to see if they take it back the other way.

    True, and I have that option enabled. Given that I need to use the Tool options, primarily Crop, with different settings on each individual image, I am finding myself opening and closing the options bar constantly. I have two options: have it pop up when I don't want it to, or I have to open it when I want it, then close it afterward. Either way, the resulting workflow is tiresome at best.

  • Customize Local Layout in SAP R/3 Web GUI?

    We are using IC WebClient with a link to R/3 4.6c for order entry.  The users want to be able to have the same control in the R/3 Web GUI that they do in the native R/3 GUI (eg. automatic tabbing at end of field).  In native R/3, this is controlled via the 'Customize Local Layout' icon on the toolbar, but this icon does not exist in the Web GUI.  Does anyone know if this kind of control is available with the R/3 Web GUI?

    Per OSS - "Differently from SAPGUI, Web UI is built in a navigator envinronment (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Safari...). Thus the requested functionality depends on the browser, not on any SAP setting.
    To my knowledge, this feature is not available in Internet Explorer, butyou can always write a simple Java routine that does the job. I found an article that you can use to start your investigation. Please, check it here:

  • Grid with File Preview (custom layout) in Acrobat X Pro Portfolios

    In Acrobat 9 Pro, there was a Portfolio layout called Grid with File Preview. We use it as our primary layout for PDF portfolios because it allows users to rapidly view PDFs within a portfolio. This was our primary reason for using Portfolios. Unfortunately, this important feature was removed in Acrobat X Pro resulting in clunky and very slow PDF viewing within a portfolio.
    Is there a custom layout which emulates Grid with File Preview?

    PDF Portfolios arrived out of the blue with Acrobat 9 and have been somewhat of an experiment - Acrobat contains some to get you started, but by also releasing the SDK it was hoped that the Flex programming community would have provided an ecosystem to support Acrobat users who wanted more choice - so just as you can buy or download hundreds of  templates for websites, you could find them for Portfolios too.
    Unfortunately it hasn't happened, and the technological landscape  has changed dramatically in the past three years - the rise of HTML5, dominance of tablets/iOS, security concerns and  Adobe's repositioning of Flash in the marketplace have all affected the commercial viability of Flex as a career, and consequently the availability of free third-party Portfolio layouts. It would have been nice to see a vibrant community of people sharing their designs, but the reality is that the majority of custom PDF Portfolios are created for enterprises as part of their brand identity, and there is an obvious cost involved in hiring one of the small number of expert programmers (of which Joel Geraci is the #1) to do the work.
    Adobe has never claimed that the layouts which ship with Acrobat were the best/only way to do things - just as with the default presets in Lightroom, they're examples of what can be done. With Acrobat X it became easier for non-programmers to style the layouts (via Themes) but there's no escaping the basic fact that making a layout itself is a Flex programming job, and not one you'd attempt as your first chunk of code.
    When Acrobat 9 launched, I saw pretty equal levels of complaints that the bundled layouts were too boring and too flashy. The target was shifted in Acrobat X to a less corporate style, but again people loved and hated them in equal measure. Given how much work is involved in writing and testing each layout, you can't expect Adobe to release a version for everyone.
    There were legitimate  reasons why the bundled layouts from A9 weren't included in AX. Speaking personally I don't expect my assessment to change: Portfolios may stick around, they may not - it depends on a mountain of bigger questions about Web standards, device popularity, politics and economics which Adobe have no control over.

When I am launching the transaction crm_ic and going to interaction history in navigation bar and in show field I am choosing Business Activity I am getting the mails and while choosing that mail I am getting Complaint as the default transaction. I want to get Business activity as the default transaction but it is showing Complaint 0. Can I get Business activity there and how?

    Hi,
    You need to do configuration for Business Transaction profile with the path mentioned by Glenn. In the first screen under the column "Trans.Type" you have to use your activity transaction (e.g 0010 is used in default Business Transaction profile). With this change you will be able to create Activity transaction as default transaction. Please remember to assign your Business Transaction Profile to your IC WebClient profile. Alternatively, make the above change in the Business Transaction Profile that you are using.
    Secondly, you may have Sales or Service transaction to be created as Dependent transactions based on your requirements. This can be done in the sub-category by selecting your Business Transaction Profile and double clicking "Dependent Business Transactions".

  • IC Webclient Enhancement - Account Identification

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement to include a new view in the Account Identification screen, and it is not working. I have explained the requirement and my steps below. Sorry that it is lengthy, I thought of providing all the details.
    I have the following scenario:
    In IC Webclient Account Identification, I need to call a custom view (built in a custom component) on clicking the confirm button on Ibase component. This is how it should work:
    i) Launch IC webclient sales role, account identification is the default screen. This is component CRMCMP_BPIDENT.
    ii) Search for an account and confirm an account. The component and view displaying the account information is ICCMP_BP_DETAIL/BupaDetailB2B
    iii) The Ibase is already setup, so on confirming an account, the corresponding Ibase components are shown in the result list. So, we select an ibase component. The selected Ibase details is shown in ICCMP_IBASE/IbaseDetails
    iv) On clicking the confirm button on the ibase, a new view should be shown below the Ibase view. Component and view is ZCOMP/Myview
    I am unable to see MyView as in step (iv).
    I have done the following:
    Component ZCOMP:
    i) Created the component ZCOMP and created a view MyView
    ii) Created an inbound flag "IP_DEFAULT" in the MainWindow (default window).
    iii) Exposed the window and inbound flag in the component interface
    Component ICCMP_IBASE:
    i) Enhanced the component and its view IBDetails (as this view contains the confirm button).
    ii) Created an outbound plug in the view. Plug = "CALLORDERSCREEN".
    iii) Created an outbound plug in the window containing this view. Plug = "DMSORDER".
    iv) In the OP_CALLORDERSCREEN method, code as below:
    DATA: lr_window TYPE REF TO cl_bsp_wd_window.
    lr_window = me->view_manager->get_window_controller( ).
    lr_window->call_outbound_plug( 'dmsorder' ).
    v) Under the window method OP_DMSORDER, coded as below:
    fire_outbound_plug( iv_outbound_plug = 'dmsorder' ).
    vi) Redefined the method "EH_ONCONFIRM" for the event "ONCONFIRM" in the view.

    i) There is already a component usage for Ibase. Added the outbound plug "DMSORDER".
    ii) Added the new component ZCOMP in the usage and added its inbound plug "DEFAULT".
    iii) Since the view MyView needs to be displayed below Ibase view, I did as below:
    Created a new view area "Order" under the viewset CRMCMP_BPIDENT/BuPaIdentifyCustomer and added my view under this viewarea. Also, made the position changes in the view layout of CRMCMP_BPIDENT/BuPaIdentifyCustomer (BuPaIdentifyCustomer.htm)
    iv) Created a navigational link as below:
    ID = "dmsorder"
    Source View = Window of ICCMP_IBASE containing the view IBDetails
    Outbound plug = DMSORDER
    Target view = MainWindow of component ZCOMP
    Inbound plug = DEFAULT
    I put breakpoints in each of the plug methods.....and found the following:
    i) The method OP_DMSORDER in component ICCMP_IBASE is being called from the Ibase component plugs.
    ii) The method IP_DEFAULT (which is empty) in component ZCOMP is being called as well.
    But, I still cannot see the view!
    Please let me know what I am missing here.

    Hi,
    it is hard to analyse this remote with no access to the system.
    I suppose the new component you created is working --> You tested it stand alone?
    As the inbound plug of your view is called the component setup is most probably correct. The navigation is working. There are two things I might suspect a problem:
    1. The viewset in the ICCMP_BPIDENT is not set up correctly. Check the HTML and runtime repository again
    2. During view creation something goes wrong. Thus the view is not created.
    Perhaps you can create a blank view in your Z component and just put some html code
    <h1>Hello World</h1>
    on it. Now put this in the window of your Z component as default in the runtime repository.
