ICal server invite problem after specific date.

If you create a new fresh account in Work Group Manager you will be able to book this user infinite in time. If this new user make a new event with repeting interval or accept an invitastion a few years in the future, the user will only be available to book for 3-5 years in the future.
My problem is that I have users that did this for years ago, and we are not able to invite them after mid august.It will not help to delete the repeting event.
Anyone have a solution?

  • ICal Server Invitations

    I'm thinking of adding the iCal service to an OS-X server I presently have running.
    I've set up the service and started prototyping and noticed that when an invitation is sent to someone outside the realm of users the server is aware of (like a Yahoo email account) the invitation can be viewed, added to the recipient's calendar app and, if accepted, sent back to the server.  But the server is not changing the status of the invitation even after the recipient accepts and sends the accepted inviation.
    I'm fairly certain if this is done using just iCal (and no server) that this works and is quite seamless.  Is this something that just doesn't work when using iCal server or is something wrong with my setup?  (I see the acceptance reply come back into the mail server logs with 250.)

  • ICal server not working after restore

    Short version:
    I did a clean install on my server. Restored the users & groups and the Library/CalendarServer folder.
    I CAN browse my calendar data by going to http://[mydomain]:8008/ in Safari, even drilling right down to individual events.
    But iCal, while it seems to login correctly and I don't get any errors, doesn't show any calendars.
    Here's the long story with a bit more detail...
    1. got my new server (yay!)
    2. calendar server was working great
    3. three users had multiple calendars, and we shared them with eachother
    4. for reasons unrelated to iCal, I decided to do a clean install.
    5. first I did an "ASR" backup using terminal - to an external hard drive
    6. reinstalled Mac OS X Server version 10.5 (forgot to run software update at this point)
    7. re-entered the users and groups manually, but I was careful to make sure they had the same UID's
    8. used cp command to copy the collaboration folder back from the backup, as well as the CalendarServer folder.
    9. after much difficulty, finally got the wiki server working again
    10. iCal clients could still browse their own calendars (I guess they are cached locally), but were unable to connect to the server (login errors).
    11. realized that I hadn't run software update. I ran it. now running 10.5.3
    12. minor glitch with wikis is now solved... yay!
    13. calendars disappear from all iCal clients when they attempt to connect to server... doh!
    14. and here I am.

    The current permission on /Library/CalendarServer/Documents are as follows.
    drwxr-x---@ 2 _calendar admin 68 Jun 30 23:38 Documents
    WebDAV:{DAV:}acl 136
    Here's the error log when I restart iCal server.
    I put the whole error messages below.

  • Ical server invitations to external email adresses are sent from "user"@localhost.localdomain

    Hello,
    I have quite a bad time getting the ical server in OSX 10.7 server to work correctly.
    If I invite a co-worker who also has an account on the server, everything seems to be fine.
    When I invite someone with an external email address, an email is sent to the given address, but the sender address is not my Adress but "MyName" @localhost.localdomain.
    Besides the fact, that this looks quite strange for a corporate company to send emails like this, some receipients who use outlook cannot accept these invitations.
    Unfortunately I cannot find any settings where I could change this behaviour.
    The ical server is configured to connect to an external email service with its own email address.
    Can anybody help?

    Hi,
    Is there only a single user encounter this issue?
    If only a single user has this issue, try to move the mailbox to another database and check the result.
    Thanks.

  • Ical server invitation reply to problem

    Hi
    When I send invitation from iCal it is sucesfully send to  invited.
    When he want to reply it show some mishmash.

    That is correct. The Reply address is set to a special account that the calendar server monitors so the calendar server can automatically process the reply into the organizer's calendar.

  • Problem importing specific data from .csv file

    Hello!
    I'm using JDev 11.1.3.0 with JSF ui and I've been following the excellent example about importing comma separated values from a .csv file, of Mr. Bors, but I have a specific problem...
    1) When i try to import a date value (format dd/mm/yyyy) to a date field of my adf table, the date won't be accepted and it's not shown (I'm using Row.setAttribute("Field", textValue) for that purpose). I guess I have to enter it in a specific format but don't know how!
    2) Same thing with double values. Tried 1.50 and it's showing on the adf table 0.02. Tried 1,50 (with a different text separator) and it's throwing me an error and doesn't show anything on the table (again i'm using Row.setAttribute("Field", textValue) for that one too)...
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thank you

    I tried your suggestion before I set my question but didn't know if I was looking on the right direction (I tried some things but they didn't work out). After a bit poking everything was fine...
    So I used
    Row.setAttribute("Field_name", oracle.jbo.domain.Date.fromText(value, "dd/mm/yyyy", null));
    and it did the trick...
    Weird thing about numbers was that after that, they were entered properly on the table with a normal Row.setAttribute("Field_name", value); with value being a String... anyway!
    Thank you Timo!

  • ICal Server invitations not working through Google Apps

    Running Lion Server 10.7.4 – I enable the option to use email addresses for invitations, key in the Gmail user and server settings (same info that works in Mail), and save. Afterward, invite tests that users send do not go to the designated email address. The logs have this repeated error:
    2012-07-09 14:24:03-0500 [-] [caldav-0]  [PooledMemCacheProtocol,client] [twistedcaldav.scheduling.scheduler.ScheduleResponseQueue#error] Error during POST for mailto:[email protected]: iMIP request failed
    Italicized letters is a paraphrase of the actual email, any standard "[email protected]" type address gets the same failure.
    I tried all the various authentication types: Plain, Login, CRAM-MD5, etc... tho it reverts itself to 'Login' after every save, I think the wizard tries the different authentication options and 'Login' is the one that works.

    instead of verifying email addresses associated with your appleID, try removing them.
    I've read some of similar thread just now, and remove the associated email withing my apple ID
    now, my friend can send invites to me ([email protected]) and i can reply within the ical and the event is created in the ical.
    however, when she tried to send invites to my 2nd appleID (yahoo.com) i don't get anything.
    I know this sounds very stupid. but at least i've got a temporary solutions.
    hope this also works for you.
    perhaps apple just us to use every service they've offer. there's too many ridiculous way to work in iCloud.
    sometime i regret migrate to icloud. MobileMe was MUCH MUCH better in sync-ing

  • Font problem after inserting date/time.

    Can anyone help me with this problem? I write a daily journal in Times New Roman, 18 pt. However, when I have it insert the date and time it inserts it fine as TNR 18. But if I type the very next character it is TNR 10 pt. How do I prevent this?
    Thanks.
    Paul

    Paul, did you by chance change the Body text Paragraph Style to TNR 18? Or is it still set to 10?
    If it is set to 10 then while the Date and Time are going to be 18, Pages is reverting back to the normal Body paragraph Style, which is probably 10.
    You can get around this by changing your body style, or making a new one called "Entries" which is set to 18.

  • Problem after storing data in Storage and trying to read it

    Hi all,
    I have a problem with reading the data from a Storage file I created. The code folows:
    public var storage: Storage;
    public var prop: Property;
    public var props: Property[];
    var initialized: Boolean = false;
    public function initiliazeDatabase(): Boolean {
    storage = Storage {
    source: "test.db"
    var resource: Resource = storage.resource;
    var inputStream: InputStream = resource.openInputStream();
    readData(inputStream);
    println("Initilatization done!!!");
    println("size: {sizeof props}");
    return initialized;
    function initStorage() {
    println("Initializing Storage…");
    var out = storage.resource.openOutputStream(true);
    var dummyRoot = "<prop></prop>\n";
    out.write(dummyRoot.getBytes());
    out.close();
    initialized = true;
    function parseCallback(e: Event) {
    if (e.type == PullParser.START_ELEMENT) {
    if (e.qname.name == "prop" and e.level == 0) {
    prop = Property { };
    } else if (e.type == PullParser.END_ELEMENT) {
    if (e.qname.name == "prop" and e.level == 0) {
    insert prop into props;
    } else if (e.type == PullParser.TEXT) {
    if (e.qname.name == "name" and e.level == 1) {
    prop.name = e.text;
    if (e.qname.name == "value" and e.level == 1) {
    prop.value = e.text;
    public function addProp(name: String, value: String): Void {
    prop = Property {
    name: name;
    value: value;
    insert prop into props;
    public function storeData(): Void {
    var out = storage.resource.openOutputStream(false);
    for (prop in props) {
    out.write(prop.toXml().getBytes());
    out.close();
    public function readData(inn: InputStream): Void {
    var parser = PullParser {
    input: inn;
    onEvent: parseCallback;
    try {
    parser.parse();
    initialized = true;
    } catch (npe: NullPointerException) {
    initStorage();
    Now, for the first time, the app works as it should, the Storage is initialized (if it does not exist) and the required fields are stored in it when I need to.
    However, the next time I start the application I get the following error:

    I did check the muffin file and it has no errors in it...
    Thanks in andvance...

    Well, as it appears, the second part of the exception was right.. :P... I do have problem with the XML file.. for some reason I cannot have two <prop> tags in one document?
    For example, if I have <prop></prop>, the program start ok... but when a new prop is added, for example, <prop></prop><prop></prop>, I get the error from the previous post?
    Does anybody know anything about this? Could this be an error in the parser, or I am missing something?

  • ICal Recurring Invite Problem

    I received an invitation to an event and replied. Now, every time I close and open up my calendar again, I get the same invitation and must respond again. I have tried deleting the event without notifying and that does not work. What can I do to get rid of this invitation once and for all so I don't have to keep replying to it?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions,
    Sounds like something is stuck in iCal's memory.
    First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
    Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
    Home > Library > Caches
    Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
    Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
    __NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
    Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test (You may have to delete the event again at this point).
    Hope that helps.

  • DI Server license problem after upgrading to SP01 PL4

    Hi.
    After I've upgraded to SP01 PL4 my Web Services that use the DI Server API do not work anymore. The SBO Client is working correctly and the DI Server and License Manager are running, too.
    When I try to login with License Server DEVELOPERCOMP (my computer), I'm getting the Message  'Connection with License Server failed'.
    Then I've read that you have to add the port number of the license server. So, I entered DEVELOPERCOMP:30000, but I'm getting the error 'License does not exist'. I'm using the manager account and it has the licenses Professional User, SAP AddOns and SDK Tools.
    I've also turned the firewall off, but it this doesn't work.
    It is really urgent, because one of our customers upgraded to SP01 and want to use our web services again.

    Ok, everything works fine except one thing: I cannot get all keys of orders of one vendor. my code looks like this:
                Dim DISNode As New SBODI_Server.Node
                Dim sSOAPans, sCmd As String
                sCmd = "<?xml version=""1.0"" encoding=""UTF-16""?>"
                sCmd += "<env:Envelope xmlns:env=""http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"">"
                sCmd += "<env:Header><SessionID>" & SessionID & "</SessionID></env:Header>"
                sCmd += "<env:Body><dis:GetObjectKeyBySingleValue xmlns:dis=""http://www.sap.com/SBO/DIS"">"
                sCmd += "<ObjNum>oPurchaseOrders</ObjNum>"
                'if suppliername is "", return all open orders
                If SupplierName.Trim = String.Empty Then
                    sCmd += "<PropName>DocEntry</PropName>"
                    sCmd += "<Value>" & String.Empty & "</Value>"
                    sCmd += "<Condition>bqc_NotEqual</Condition>"
                Else
                    sCmd += "<PropName>CardName</PropName>"
                    sCmd += "<Value>" & XmlProcessing.getStringXmlEncoded(SupplierName) & "</Value>"
                    sCmd += "<Condition>bqc_Equal</Condition>"
                End If
                sCmd += "</dis:GetObjectKeyBySingleValue></env:Body></env:Envelope>"
                sSOAPans = DISNode.Interact(sCmd)
    If I enter no vendor name, so that I get the keys for all orders, it works. But If I enter a vendor name, I'm getting an empty response.
    The funny thing is that all other requests I'm doing are working. I can get a list of all vendors, I can search for an item by its item code, I can add an unscheduled receipt and so on. Before I upgraded to SP01 it has worked fine for several weeks.
    Does someone has a clue?

  • Sql Server 2008 - problems after incorrect installation of SSIS component

    During the addition of SSIS component to an existing installation of Sql Server 2008 the setup has been made using Sql Server 2008 R2 media.
    Now SSMS shows the following error during the connection to the instance :
    Method not found: 'Int32.Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc.ISfcDomain.GetLogicalVersion()'
    I've tried to remove R2 components and to repair the existing 2008 installation.
    At the moment 2008 R2 Native client and Setup are still present in the list of Programs and Features.
    From previous comments I understand this method is in a Sql Server 2008 R2 assembly, so it seems that SSMS is running as R2 but is using 2008 libraries.
    How can I correct this ?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    Be careful uninstalling now SQL Server 2008 R2 components. If you uninstall shared components that are SQL Server 2008
    R2 components the whole SQL Server 2008 instance will be unusable. For more information about having SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2 installed on the same computer, please read the following article:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee210714(v=sql.105).aspx
    Hope this helps.

  • Is there a way to trigger an action on or after a specific date?

    Hi,
    I wanted to set up AS3 to trigger an action on or after specific dates (quarterly, 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1). Is this possible?
    I can script getting today's date, but I am not sure how to script: if today's date is  greater than or equal to (>=) one of these quarterly dates (greater than is essential since the video may not run on the specified date, so greater than is needed). Year is not needed, since the goal is quarterly action. But, would need to start over each new year, so quarterly action continues each year. Can't seem to get my brain around how to construct this and how to script it.
    Any help appreciated.

    if you can accept the user's date, you can compare the user's date's time property with your date's time property:
    var triggerDate=new Date(2013,0,1);
    var userDate=new Date();
    if(userDate.time>triggerDate.time){
    //do whatever

    I was having the same exact problem, and fixed it by either:
    1) Reordering the search policy in directory utility so that LDAP was ahead of AD
    2) Changing the authentication method within the iCal Server Utility to Password (it was set to kerberos).
    I have been doing battle with kerberos, iCal, and AD for the past few weeks. A lot of trial and error has gone into this process, so I'm sorry I can't be more specific...
    Good Luck.
