Hello,
As i know, Huawei E3272 can't support the Android OS. You'd better have a mobile WiFi to get network access.
By the way, the Huawei E5776 Mobile WiFi 4G is recommended.

  • OS 4.5 Documents to Go update to 1.0050 OTA fails

Yesterday, I upgraded to OS 4.5 and all seems well.  I am trying to obtain the update for Documents to Go to version 1.0050 which will allow the functionality for Excel spreadsheets.  I went to Data Viz and requested the update and a link was sent to my Curve 8830.  When I try to get the update via OTA it claims an incompatability issue and then after I confirm to continue the download fails.  I have not found a way to download a computer version of the update so that I can upgrade via the PC.  Has anyone successfully updated to Docs to Go version 1.0050 (with Excel)?
    thanks, todd.
    Solved!

Finally got Docs to Go to upgrade properly and now I have Sheet to Go.  See link:
    http://support.dataviz.com/support.srch?docid=14238&pid=186
I had to use the alternate install, but first deleting the original version of Docs to Go.  The first run through alternate install did not work.  After a delete and reboot it worked OK.
I get a "907 Invalid COD" error when trying to download and install Documents To Go on my BlackBerry.
Document ID: 14238 << Back Last Reviewed: 11/25/2008      Printer FriendlyProblem:I get a "907 Invalid COD" error when trying to download and install Documents To Go on my BlackBerry.Solution:A "907 invalid COD" error happens when Documents To Go cannot find specific components needed during installation. This problem can occur if there is an interruption (such as a network failure) during the download & installation of Documents To Go on the phone, which can cause some of the application components to fail to download.
To resolve this problem, try these suggestions:
    OTA Installation
First, try to redownload the application again by using the link sent to you from DataViz, or by visitingwww.dataviz.com on your BlackBerry web browser.
Alternative InstallationIf you are still having problems, there is another way to install Documents To Go. Click the following link and follow the steps for "Alternative installation":
    Alternative Installation
    Uninstall/Reboot/Reinstall
If you still receive the "907 Invalid COD" error when attempting the alternative installation, you will need to uninstall Documents To Go, reboot the phone, and then reinstall Documents To Go. To do so, please follow these steps:
Open the Options application on your BlackBerry, and go to Advanced Options > Applications.
Scroll down to highlight Documents To Go, then press the Menu button and select Delete.
When asked if you want to delete Documents To Go, select Delete.
While the BlackBerry is still powered on, remove the battery.
Reinsert the battery and turn the power back on.
Reinstall Documents To Go (you can try either the OTA installation or the Alternative installation).

  • Yoga 2 8 LTE

LG Hirog

If an OTA fails to update on your Yoga Tablet 2, and you receive error message "Install failure", it may be due to the country code being lost.

  • Z10 no updates available for 10.1.0.2019

I cannot get this Z10 to update past 10.1.0.2019. I've serached, and Googled and read tons of posts but I'm not getting any luck.
    Phone details:
    BB Z10
    STL100-3
    SW Release 10.1.0.2019
    AT&T Network (USA)
    Things I've tried:
OTA: Fails with "no software updates available"
Web update in IE: "There are not BlackBerry device software updates available"
BB Link (downloaded latest version 1.2.4.28 on Windows 7):  "You BlackBerry device has the latest available software"
I did a clean reset to reboot the device back to factory settings
I removed the SIM card (and battery)
    I turned location services OFF
Everything I've read indicates that there should be at least a 10.2.1.x update available, I would be happy with that. 10.3.x would be awesome but I'm not holding my breath.
    Any ideas?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Everything you describe involves the "automatic" update methods...which are completely controlled by your carrier as to if you are to receive any updates via those methods.
If you wish to bypass your carrier controls and update anyway, your choices are Sachesi (non-destructive of your data) and AutoLoader (100% destructive to your existing data).
Good luck and let us know!

  • IPad fails to connect to WiFi after OTA update to iOS 6

After the OTA update to iOS 6 my new iPad fails to connect to my WiFi network at home. My LANCOM router reports the following issue:
    Index: 62294
    Zeit: 19.09.2012 21:08:28
    Interface: WLAN-1
Ereignis: Rejected Association from WLAN station xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx []: ()
    Adresse: xxxxxxxxxxxx
Grund: Cannot support all requested capabilities in Capability Information field
It has worked flawlessly in the past with iOS 5 on my new iPad and iPhone 4. At the moment I hestitate to update my iPhone too.
Anyone with the same issue or an idea how to fix it?
Thanks in advance, greetings from Stuttgart (Germany),

    Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • I've been trying for 2 weeks to update my iPhone 4S (7.0.6) to iOS 7.1 OTA but it fails all the time...telling me software update failed..I need some support pls!!

The problem occurres after the downloading is complete and when its in "Preparing Update" procedure and specfically in its last progress (near the end). Suddenly a message pop ups saying that "Software Update Failed" \n "An error occured downloading iOS 7.1."
I've restarted the update process for the 20 th time!!! and reset my iphone twice to factory settings, but still nothing change, same error occures...
    My iPhone specs
    Version : 7.0.6 (11B651)
    Model : MD235AE/A

Did it work for you with iTunes?
I have the same problem with my iPad mini. I have done almost all updates of my iOS devices OTA.
    I never update issues before.
Also iPad 2 and iPhone 5 just worked fine.
Only now my iPad mini struggles with the update. Did a factory reset too.
And now have iOS 7.0.2 (11A501) on an iPad Model MD543FD/A.
World prefer OTA instead of iTunes.
    Thank you for any help.

  • Maps OTA update fails, X6

Every time I've tried to update the maps OTA it fails. Other apps have updated fine. I'd really like to get the latest version, I don;t have a cable at the moment for updating from PC.
    Nokia N8 on Belle

You need to uninstall the older version first from settings>application manager and start the update again. Just to let you know map data of other countries, voice and drive guidance you downloaded before will be deleted. Synchronise your directions, landmarks etc with Ovi before performing the update. Good luck.

  • IOS 6.1.2 OTA update failed while 6.1.3 available

Recently my iPad (an iPad 2) asked me to download iOS 6.1.2 using OTA update, which I did, but did not installed the update right after.
Now iOS 6.1.3 is available and I'd like to update, but the iPad only wants to install 6.1.2 and fails while trying yo validate the update. It tells me that I'm not connected to internet, but I am.
My guess is that the signing window for iOS 6.1.2 is closed, therefore the update cannot be validated, but the iPad doesn't seems to be checking for newer versions.
Is there any way I can bypass 6.1.2 install and get strait to 6.1.3 ?
I know I can still use iTunes to do that but I'd really like to avoid downloading a whole iOS update.
    Michael

I work in a school where we have over 600 ipads, this became a problem for us as well.  I did find that if you continue to wifi settings select the network you are joined to, forget the network that you are on, turn the ipad off, restart ipad, rejoin your network, and then try update software again the ipad will change to IOS 6.1.3 instead of IOS 6.1.2 during the "verify error" stage everyone is getting.  There were a few ipads that I had to follow these steps a couple of times before it finally "skipped" the IOS 6.1.2 update and changed to the IOS 6.1.3 update.  Once the change occurs at top of screen, the installation will work as intended.  Have now used this workaround about 30 times and and it has worked everytime.  Hope this helps.

  • OTA Update failed for Lenovo S856

I opted to install the OTA Update which is shown to be available. After downlaoding about 75MB of data, the phone gets restarted, the Android OS Upgrading screen comes, and then an error message apears. I only have the option to restart the device. Once restarting, the launcher is loaded and OTA Update Failed to Install message comes. Is there any solution to get rid of this problem? And is Lollipop 5.1 Update coming to Lenovo S856? Thanks in advance.. Any support is welcome!

does anybody know what is the correct and current firmware

  • OTA Authentication Failed

    Hi,
We've decided to sign our J2ME MIDlet. We now have a 40% success OTA installation. One common error message we get is "Authentication Failed. Application not installed.".
    I have some questions:
1- Is a J2SE certificate is ok for signing J2ME MIDlet?
2- Is it legal to modify the JAD after the signature process? We currently input the MIDlet-Jar-Size just before the OTA download of the JAD.
3- With jarsigner we can verify that the JAR is correctly signed. Is there any software that can verify the the correct signature of a JAD/JAR suite?
Other error messages we get is:
    invalid application
    Unable to install. Invalid object
    Download failed
    No valid certificate
    Failed. Invalid file
    Thanks

I'm experiencing the same problem. When I contacted Verizon he suggested I reset my phone. I haven't tried it yet though. I don't want to lose my text messages.

  • Phone fails installing OTA update to KitKat, why?

I have a RAZR MAXX HD that has been bugging me to do the OTA update for weeks. when it tries to do the update it fails (Droid down after reboot)
So I figured I'd just do a factory reset on the phone and it should work. Nope, same problem, so after pointlessly wiping my phone, my update still fails, and still bugs me to do it.  Any suggestions? I could try loading the update from the SD card, but it's just the same file trying to do the same update...

Well, here's what I had to do to get the update.
(I always recommend a factory reset for large updates)
Downloaded the rom from motorola VZW_XT926_4.4.2-KDA20.62-10.1_CFC_1FF.xml.zip
    uncompressed it and ran RSDScriptGenerator.jar
    Installed RSDLite 6.1.6
Loaded in recovery mode and reset phone.
Switched to fastboot mode and connected to my computer
    flashed the script with RSD
Probably not the easiest or recommended method to get the OTA update. but this is what I had to do to get it.
On the plus side, my battery life improved. Not sure if it was from the factory reset or update though.  Anyone needing to follow my route can google "How To:XT926 Upgrade to KitKat OTA"

    Has iOS8 destroyed my phone?

    Hi vijay294,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you received a restore error while attempting to update to iOS 8 and now you see the Connect to iTunes graphic on your display. In this situation, I would recommend using recovery mode to restore your iPhone. Please use the instructions located in the attached article to complete this process.

  • Yoga 10 HD+ OTA Update Failed (140507)

Via System Update yesterday, I attempted to update my tablet but it failed during installation.
Has anyone else had the update fail? Anyone apply it successfully? Any word on what the update does?

This release updates some framework around Play services.
I updated six tablets this morning without issue.  I'd recommend resetting to factory defaults, then trying the OTA again.  If it still fails, let me know.  We'll capture some logs and take a closer look.
Full disclosure: Lenovo issues my paychecks.
