  • Safe to ignore this warning?

    Using WL 8.1 (sp3) on Win 2000 (sp4)
From my Struts app I'm trying to upload a file from the browser to the
server, the file uploads fine, BUT the only problem is I keep getting this
    warning -
    "<09-Mar-2006 16:28:47 o'clock GMT> <Warning> <HTTP> <BEA-101138>
    <ServletContext(id=618926,name=PRDWeb,context-path=/PRDWeb) One of the
getParameter family of methods called after reading from the
ServletInputStream. Not merging post parameters.> "
Trolling the net it seems this is quite a common problem but no one seems to
know the answer other than assuming that request.getInputStream() is being
called - well I'm not & have absolutely no idea why this is happening!
I've even setup the example upload app that come's with Struts & I still get
the same warning - surely not normal?
I'm not reading from the ServletInputStream unless this is being done behind
the scenes, really hit a brick wall with this one & can't find anyway around
    it!
Can anyone help please?, can it be fixed or possibly safe to ignore (don't
like doing that of course but there comes a time in the god awful world of
J2EE that you have to produce something instead of messing around for days!)
    thanks
    harry

Pl post exact versions of "10g" and "11gR2", along with the OS details.
As the warning states, you need to wait for the MVIEW refreshes to complete before starting with the upgrade steps.
If you do not care about the MVIEWs or if this is a test database. you can proceed, with the understanding that the data in the MVIEWs may be incomplete or corrupt.

  • Jabber voicemail address cert warning

    Hello.
I hope someone can help me with this.
I have tried to change all setting to use FQDN and also adde certificates issued by our internal PKI.
it works for CUCM and IM&P connections, but jabber still complains that on the certificate for VM.
What I see under connection status is that Jabber is still trying to connect to the IP address of VM not the FQDN.
I expect that is why i am getting the certificate warning. But how do I change this?
I have changed the UC Service in CUCM to the FQDN but still the same.
    Anyone that can help me?
    -Alex

Can you check under the uc service menu to look for the mailstore ( exchange) ; is this also corrected to the use the fqdn for unity connection server.
If this is also corrected and you are still seeing that jabber attempts to connect to the ip address; please make sure that you try to delete the local cache from your windows PC; ( provided this is being tested on jabber for windows).
    here is the location that you look for to search for the cache folder;
    For Windows 7:
                    a) C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications
                    b) C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications'
In order to remove the cache you will need to delete the jabber sub folder which is uder the unified communications folder ; and then try to re enter the log in credentials and server details in jabber and connect to check if now you see jabber for windows referencing the FQDN instead of the ip address.
Please note that by deleting the cache folder on the PC where jabber is installed; you will loose all the recent im's that you typed or received. Also you will need to re enter the log in credentials to log in.

    4. When run Enable Certificate03 command, got warning.
According to the information above, please notice that both Certificate01 and Certificate02 are not Self-signed certificate. And the New-ExchangeCertifiate command in Exchange 2007 server is to new an Exchange Self-signed certificate. I suggest double check
whether your org has self-signed certificates. If your org only need 3rd party certificates without self-signed certifcate, I suggest apply a new certificate from CA.

  • Why does my Mac (OS 10.7) warn me that Firefoxs' latest edition will cause harm to my computer? I ignored the warning , Scrolls rapidly & Beeps!

My Mac is an Intel core 2 duo, 233GHz, using OS 10.7. I've used Firefox for years without an issue. But as soon as I loaded the recommended update my computer has been doing a number of operations on its own. So far it has rapidly begun to scroll down menus and Word pages, when the computer is idle or when I'm keying in information it starts to beep (sometimes fast). Initially, it was giving me fits while typing, by changing regular characters (not all, but many) to symbols. I have reloaded my OS updates and have some stability reestablished. However, problems are still popping up now and then. I am currently running an older version of Firefox.

Download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new (latest) Firefox version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop
    *Firefox 17.0.1: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
*Trash the current Firefox application (e.g. open the Applications folder in the Finder and drag the Firefox application to the Trash) to do a clean (re-)install
*Install the new version that you have downloaded

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

  • How to ignore SSL certificate warning only for a specific internal subnet?

I understand my issue may be a little unique, but I am sure some people have come across it. I am working with some test gears that have either self-signed certificates or flat out invalid/expired SSL certificates. Since this is a lab/test environment I don't want to have to go through the trouble of generating my own certificates and load them on each test device, since they come and go quite a bit.
Is there a way to tell Firefox to ignore SSL warning, but only for a given subnet? For example, if the SSL certificate is presented by anyone in 10.11.12.0/24, accept it without question, but if it's coming from anywhere else, check its validity.
I doubt this will ever be a main feature for Firefox, but perhaps someone has come across an add-on that does this?

I suggest you to ignore self signed certificates. You should get some low priced SSL certificates to prevent your website from warnings.
I preferred to buy ssl certificates from reseller, as its low pricing.
    Some good resellers are:

and you can google it for more reseller list.

  • WARNING:IP: Hardware address '02:bf:0a:d0:00:2a' trying to be our address

    Hi,
When my system boots up the following error message is prompted:
WARNING:IP: Hardware address '02:bf:0a:d0:00:2a' trying to be our address
I perused documentation and it states that this occurrs when the ATM lane device is set to promiscuous mode by running snoop -d lane0. The corrective action to be taken should be to not ket the ATM lane device rin in promiscuous mode & not to ignore the warning.
What I want to know is how to implement the resolution?
    Thanks!

    Ok, my mistake.
So that PC is also trying to use 192.168.0.1.
And it must be doing arp broadcasts on the LAN.
Solaris should probably be ignoring them since it has an 10.x.x.x address on the lan. So it shouldnt care about 192.168.0.x addresses on the LAN.
    Only on the crossover network.
    But apparently it cares anyway.
So I suggest you change the cluster heartbeat addresses to something else thats less likely to be chosen by random computers on your lan.
Or figure out why the PC is trying to use 192.168.0.1. It could be someone running vmware or virtual box.
Or vlan you lan, so your critical servers arent sharing a network with random poorly configured PC's.

can I find a jee.jar to remplace j2ee.jar to take the resolution of this problem

The resolution of this problem isn't to fiddle about with .jar files, but to change the code to call the method now recommended instead of the deprecated method. Or just ignore the warning - the code will still work.
    BTW surely it's java.lang.String?

  • Warning message in RSA6

    Hello Experts,
In rsa6 when I transport the Data source, iam facing the below message.... ignored the warning transported and replicated in BI system but its not reflected in BI system...help me out.
The even-numbered length of the DEC field D_UNITS can lead to problems
    Message no. R8569
    Diagnosis
You want to use the field D_UNITS in the extract structure for DataSource 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS. This field has a field of type 'DEC' (or 'CURR' or 'QUAN') with an even number of characters.
This can create problems since the length resulting from calculations in ABAP (for example, in extractors or Customer Exits for extraction) is too large to be inserted in the database later (PSA in BW), causing a short dump.
    Procedure
This warning is only relevant when the maximum length of this field is exceeded during extraction, for example when the field is expanded in the Customer Exit through a calculation.
More information and a remedy can be found in SAP Note 641744.

    Hi KV........
Hav u checked the correct Application component after Replication..........is it popping any error message...........After replication u hav to activate the Transfer rules using the program : RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL ...........Warning cannot be the reason........as per my understanding........First go to RSA1 >> go to source system >> Right click on the desired source system >> Display datasource tree >> then go to the correct Application Component >> Then right click >> Replicate metadata........
Hav u checked the SAP Note 641744..........given in the Error message.......For ur reference.......
    Symptom
    The following symptoms can occur:
1a: When you transfer a DataSource from the Business Content, a warning is displayed, stating that the even numbered length of the DEC field <Fieldname> can cause problems (message: R8 569).
1b: When you generate DataSources using transaction RSO2, the warning R8 569 is issued.
2: When you load extracted data to the PSA, a short dump 'DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR' is generated. (In this case, the above message appears if the DataSource is checked in the source system in transaction RSA6.)
    Other terms
OLTP, extractor, data extraction, DataSource, service API, SAPI, S-API
    R8569, ORA1438,
    Reason and Prerequisites
The DataSource contains fields of the 'DEC' DDIC type (also:'CURR' or 'QUAN') with an exact-number-of-places.
You should only expect problems if calculations are made with the above field types using the value read by the database.
    Example:
The value '9999' is read by the database from a DEC field of length 4.
At runtime, this is treated as an internal ABAP type 'P' (length 3) that can, however, have the maximum value '99999'.If the read value is now increased by an arithmetic operation - for example, by adding '1' - the resulting value '10000' cannot be written to the PSA that was also generated on the basis of the DEC field of the extract structure with a length of 4.
Result: A short dump 'DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR', 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', is issued when you write to the PSA in BW using the INSERT_ODS routine.
    Solution
If the field is not manipulated in the customer exit or elsewhere, no processing is required.
If you change the field, the following possible solutions are available:
You can make sure that the number of the characters does not increase after the manipulation.
If you can change the extract structure of the DataSource without affecting other scenarios (for example, if it was generated in transaction RSO2), you can increase the length of the DEC field (or CURR, QUAN) there to the next odd character (in the example above: from DEC 4 on DEC 5).
If neither of these solutions are possible, you can use a customer append that contains a relevant DEC field (or CURR, QUAN) with the next highest odd length. This can be used for the result of the calculations. This means that you do not have to manipulate the previous field.

  • Warning Error message while scheduling the Process Chain

    Dear All,
I have created the meta Chain, which contains 7 Local Chains. I have tested this chain in BI Development and Quality. It was working fine. I have moved this Meta Chain to production. While i am trying to schedule this chain, i got the warning message.
Too many parallel processes for chosen server BICI
    Message no. RSPC118
    Diagnosis
On the server TVSBICI you have chosen, there are only 0 batch processes available. The process chain has been designed in such as way that 3 processes must be processed parallel.
    System Response
Only 0 processes can be processed parallel. Note also that to be able to start sub-chains, AT LEAST TWO free batch processes must be available. Otherwise a lock situation may arise.
For more information, see SAP Note 621400.
    Procedure
Reduce the number of parallel processes in the chain or include sub- chains. This warning applies to all relevant processes.
    Procedure for System Administration
Increase the number of batch processes available. You should note however that it makes no sense to set up more batch processes than there are CPUs on server BICI.
    Pls help on this issue.
    Thanks,
    Siva.

  • Warning while opening a report

Hi I am getting a warning while i try to execute a report.

  • Configurator Error- Warning while booking the Sales Order

    Hello All,
I am working on Order Management. When i try to book the order using (wf pkg) some times it is throwing an error saying "Configurator error" But when i open the configurator its not a Error message, its jsut a Warning. So, i have to manually click on the CONFIGURATOR, clicking on PREVIEW Configurator, and FINISH Button each time.
Is there any API which can ignore this warning and proceed with Booking the order automatically. (Unless there is an Error, not the warning)
It would be really helpful for me, as i am doing this manually, almost 100 Orders daily.
    Thank you,
    Aush

You are probably getting the error because the order selections were not valid and therefore you could not book the order.
When you open the configurator and click finish, it may APPEAR that you did not do anything. But in reality, when you click Finish, your selections are changing. Some of the selections are done automatically by rules so some of your incorrect selections are getting fixed by simply opening the configurator and clicking on Finish.
You can verify that by opening the configurator but instead of Finish, click on Cancel. And then try to book the order. You will probably get an error because you did not let the auto-rules fix the errors in your order.
If you want to avoid doing this 100 times a day, you need to look at the process that is creating the order lines in ENTERED state. Your problem is somewhere there.
    Hope this helps,
    Sandeep GAndhi

  • Process Order Warning Message while doing the Goods Receipt

    Dear All,
While doing the GR against process order via t.code MB31, we are getting a warning message which reads u201CProduction date of bch 110420 (17.06.2011) does not match the prod. date entered (26.08.2011)u201D this happens only if the batch number already exists in the system for the same material code , in this scenario if the user ignores the warning message & posts the document the existing batch number production date also will be over written with current/inputted manufacturing dateu2026 this will collapse the batch traceability. Is there a way to customize where we can have a different production date for same batch number?..
    For example:
    Batch Number: ABCD
    Production date 10.02.2011
    Batch Number: ABCD
    Production date 11.02.2011
    Batch Number: ABCD
    Production date 12.02.2011
    Regards,
    Sivanandan

I'm sorry to say that I find your requirement to be absolutely not logical; a batch is, by definition, a homogenous quantity of a material, that you want to separate by it's characteristics from other, different, quantities of the same material.
If you decided that manufacturing date is a characteristic of the batch, then it has to be unique for one batch.
So, as I see it, you have two options: either decide that manufacturing date is not important and do without, or have different batches for the different dates.
