If I delete a picture sent as a text message off my phone, can my mom still see that picture on the account if she looks up what I have sent?
Look I'm not gonna like I sent risky pictures a while back but they were consented to someone trustworthy and im over 18...yet my parents are looking for any proof my boyfriend is a bad guy and they still have the child protection security whatever on my phone so I was unsure if after I deleted them from my phone if they would still be available or not for my parents to go back and retrieve...

I had the same problem and managed to get all my old contacts back. It was because I synced my contacts toiCloud on the initial setup, but nothing was in there. If you go to settings-iCloud- and turn off contacts, your old contacts should appear!

Open your Photos App > Camera Roll > At the top right corner you will see a rectangle with a right arrow, select that. Now you can select as many photos as you want and you can hit the red Delete button on the bottom right.

Pictures in Photo Library are synced from your computer and must be deleted from there, followed by re-sync. Photos in Camera Roll can be deleted from your iPhone directly (tap arrow in top right, tap the pictures you want to delete, press the Delete button).

About three years ago in 1012 I had an iphone3 sent and deleted text messages of course and as of now those text messages are needed for an upcoming court case i will be involved with. So is there any way to retrieve those text messages from three years ago. I am just in need of the text messages from February 2012 on. So its about 6 to 10 months of texts. what do I have to do to get them back if possible???
As the others noted, if you don't have any older iTunes backups then the deleted messages would not be recoverable. The free trial of Decipher TextMessage will show you if there are any text messages in your older backups that can be recovered.

The only way to retrieve a deleted text message would be to restore a backup created after the message was sent but prior to the message being deleted.
There may be programs that can extract this information directly from the backup files themselves, google for possible solutions. -
How do I clean up mail in my icloud? I have already deleted old mail (from all my e-mail accounts) on all devices, and emptied the junk & deleted files, but it still shows that I am at max on my icloud. What do I do to free up space? (photos & apps do not take up that much room). When I go to manage storage on any device & it will display how much room each program or app is using, it still shows that my e-mail is taking up the most room. Is there a way to actually log on to the icloud server to manage what it stored there? If so, how do I do it? Also, on a related subject, why does my mail not sync accross all devices? ie. when I delete an email on one device, why do I still see it on all my other devices? How can I change this?

Mail is backed up automatically. If you make backups automatically, open Mail application and then, open the Time Machine app (in /Applications/Utilities). You will access to the Time Machine interface, and you will be able to see all your mails of all the backups you have, and you will be able to restore them. I had over 200 e-mails. I went to my webmail and deleted most of them. However, my iPhone still shows 200 e-mails. How can I force my iPhone to update from the e-mail server? Or will I have to delete each e-mail from my iPhone as well? Thanks.
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I had an update message on my phone and I clicked yes to update. Now the phone has a picture of itunes and usb connection, but can't be used. itunes says I have to restore my phone, but will lose all the data. Is there anything else I can do? I really don't want to lose all my pictures and other data.
It's in recovery mode. There is nothing left on the phone at all. If you didn't back it up before you started, your data is gone.

Go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. There are text messages that I'm having trouble deleting. With some of my text messages, I can swipe to the left and delete ... or press and hold, get more and delete to trash can icon. But there are some where neither will work. Can't delete. Help!
But once again, I do not want to lose my other texts, app progress, and photos. I could sync the photos but i would still lose the app progress and texts. I would only restore if it was the only option left, but the other space, as already stated, isnt the main concern. The main concern is those 'deleted' texts. If they go, then a good size chunk of the other space goes. I know you CAN delete texts for good. It worked fine before. All i want to know is why its not working for me now, and how to fix it.
I also know that when you delete texts on your iphone, they get marked for deletion, however they stay on your device (thats why they show up when you search for them.) then when you sync your device with itunes, the texts marked for deletion should disappear. When i synced they didnt disappear. Thats what i need an explanation/solution for. Why the texts marked for deletion didnt get fully deleted after the sync. -
I accidentally deleted the facebook app off my phone, but it won't let me go into the app store and DL it again it says it's already installed. Does anyone know how I get facebook back???

You can not retrieve a deleted message that was not synced.
There are data recovery services that "may" be able to retrieve the message.
These recovery services can cost $1000 or more though. -
