I didn't have to. Office '11 kept on working with no problems after I installed Lion.

Maheedhararao if you are unable to install in trial mode then it is likely the trial period for that computer has expired. I would recommend evaluating the software on a different computer.

First, make sure that Office applications are closed when you turn off the computer. Then, when you are going to turn off the computer in > Shut Down, unmark "Reopen windows when logging back in" -

My iphone wont connect to itunes on my macbook after I have already synced it. I am running the lastest itunes 10.4 and I have tried restarting both phone and mac. Can anyone suggest what I can do?
You will have to put your phone into recovery mode and restore the phone as new. Since you don't have a back up, you will lose all the data on your phone but you will be able to use it again.

The free Rader does not require a license. Could it be that Mac OS is asking you for the password of your Mac? Or that you are required to launch Reader (open your Applications folder and doble click on the Reader icon) to accept the licence agreement? Please be as specific as you can.

No, you should not. There are problems trying to go the other way, but updating a newer iOS release from a backup of an older iOS release has always been supported and is the basic means of setting up a new device from a previous one.

Apple charges less for OSX upgrades than most apps cost. I wouldn't bet on having them separated out, but you can use Messages now, since it's a beta. But I believe that even that gets shut off by Apple once 10.8 comes out.
I think you should just focus on getting Mountain Lion. Also, remember, the Terms of Use for this forum precludes us from speculating on what Apple will or won't do with new products/software/etc. -

Expanding on what Barry said, Lion includes features specifically for trackpads, but it's by no means necessary to have one. A Magic Mouse will work just fine (as will any other mouse or trackball).

I ordered Microsoft Office 2011 with my Macbook Air, but only the trial version came installed - and no product key for the full version was ever emailed to me or included in the shipment. Three calls each to Apple and Microsoft have not solved this and I am at wit's end. Each company blames it on the other - I don't care whose fault it is, I just want the product key so I can use Microsoft Office! Please help.
You should have received a DVD in the box (with the MBA).

After running Offcie 2011 for 12 months with no problem, today I can not open any of the programs.
Have followed some advice forums but no resolution.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled and now get the same error when trying to open one of the programs and trying to add activation key.
Updated with Security Update 2015-003 yesterday is this causing the problem?
Running Yosemite 10.10.2Me too. It has been 3 days since I have no access to iCloud mail. No matter I check it on iCloud.com, Mac, iPhone or iPad, the mail app says I have incorrect password. Specifially, when I check email on my Mac, the message below appears and prompt me to type in the password. I am sure that I've entered the correct password already.

I am using Maverick, My System got crashed and my work which i was doing on Microsft Word Completely lost, I checked and tried to recover it as suggested by many by doing the following procedure
/Users/ username/Library/Application Support/ Microsoft/Office/Office 2011 AutoRecovery.
but in my system and my partner system after microsoft folder there 4 different folders non of them show office/office 2011 AutoRecovery.
Its no any where in the system, I rechecked is my auto recovery option is active & its active, Every 10 minutes Auto Save the open files.

I have already created an Apple ID. I tried to sign in on iTunes, but it said I have not yet used this ID with iTunes. It then directed me to the billing page. There was no option "none" for the credit card payment. It will not let me continue without entering one in.
