my source for the iFrame content is 1150 wide

Need to make it 1150 wide.

Try to use scroll bars by using this style:

ConfigMgr 2012 Update Source content deleted

I am experiencing a problem that is appears to be the same as the old thread here:

Rather than revive an old post, I thought it best to start my own.
We have a rather large environment (CAS +5 Primaries + Many DP's) and we are currently adding several new remote DP's each week. Each time a new DP is added it is placed in a Distribution Group and the "core" package content is sent
to it.
I have a problem where my Windows Update Packages keep failing due to content disappearing from the source folder location. This started some time ago, and is now becoming a regular event to correct. Not every day, but once a week or so.
The Update group has the updates all showing as "downloaded"
I have a report query that matches the updates to the "GUID" subfolder so I know all the content is there
I distribute the content from the CAS. Distrmgr.log shows all is good. Packagemgr.log on the Primaries show all is good
Client have been installing the updates as expected so the deployment does work
Days/weeks later, ALL the DP's will show as "failed" for that update package. Checking the distmgr.log shows that it is failing to distribute due to a missing source folder. I use my query to work out which update that subfolder GUID belongs to,
but it is already flagged as downloaded, and when trying to download it again CM just "skips" it thinking it already has the content in that package.
The "fix" is to download the same update to a new package instead. CM then does a proper check, realises it doesn't have the content and will download the update to the new package source location. I can then copy the missing GUID subfolder
from the new package into the original package and try the distribution again.
The problem now is that there are usually many folders missing, so distmgr.log will fail again on the next missing folder. Because it stops at the first error, repeating the above process is incredibly tedious when there are a lot of missing folders.
My current "solution" is to select ALL the updates that should be in the current package and download them all to a "Temp package" that isn't deployed or distributed anywhere. Then in future when the main deployment package fails, I just
"select all, copy" the contents of the temp folder into the original folder (skip duplicates) and it puts back all the missing content and distribution will work again.
We are not using ADR's for this content, although I do have an ADR for the Endpoint updates which go into a completely different distribution package.
*Something* is cleaning up or purging these folders from the source location, but I have no idea what process or mechanism this might be.
Any thoughts or suggestions most welcome.

Microsoft was working with me trying to identify what was deleting the folders, however nothing was appearing as the cause.
I just realised this morning that I had used the built-in CM12 Migration function some time back to migrate update packages and groups over to our second hierarchy but hadn't updated any of the migrated content since then. The migrated packages on the second
hierarchy still point to the same source location and so whenever my original hierarchy added content to the update packages, the second hierarchy would delete it because it though it was "orphaned" content.
This is something people will have to watch out for when using the migration wizard as the same type of issues will impact things like WIM boot image packages as well where the source content can be manipulated directly by the CM12 system on one hierarchy
without the other one being aware of that change.
At the moment the options are to either
Make sure you run a "migrate changes" job whenever you make changes to updates on your source hierarchy to keep them in sync
Manually make a copy of the source content to a different folder or location, then update the package source location on the migrated packages to point to that new content (undesirable for massively large content)
Create a scripted method to schedule regular migration jobs between the hierarchies (looking into this option now)

IFrame Blank Content Error

I am creating the navigation for a website using flex, i have
the menu (by itself) functioning. I am using an iFrame component,
borrowed from this site (

The page menu displays just fine in the top frame, but the
content frame is completely blank. No error messages pop up, so i'm
looking for feedback. Any ideas???

To mess around with the problem, I created a release version
(using Flex Builder 3) and then opened the main html file, which
gave me a sandbox error instead of the usual blank white box. I
don't know if this error helps shed any light on the problem.
Here's the error message:
SecurityError: Error #2060: Security sandbox violation:
ExternalInterface caller file
(the rest of the air states that the externalinterface caller
file is not able to call the html file in the bin-release folder)
Any help would be great.

Is it possible to default jsp to open in source tab rather than design

I am using JDev 11g prev1. is it possible that when i click on a jsp it opens the source tab rather than design. design view for jsp is really of no use.

Just updated firefox and it's wider than my screen, i have to scroll over to the right just to log in on a web site i never had to do that before. How can i change that?

had to replace motherboard, before i didn't have to scroll over to sign in to my account. Just updated firefox and it seems wider than my screen tried adjusting the size of the web page but that didn't really work all that well, open for suggestions please.

HP 2025/XP: Error Message when printing envelopes wider than long

Is there any way to print envelopes wider than long (e.g., A2 through A7) without getting the error message "Unrecognized Paper" and encountering long cleaning cycles between each envelope. I prefer not to feed envelopes end-ways as they tend to gather due to the paper layers. I have had some success in using cut-to-size card stock under the flap (secured with a post-it) to make the printer "think" that the envelope is longer than wide, but this is time-consuming as well. Thanks for any help.

Best Place for Source Content Location?

Hey Guys,
Currently we are planning for 2 sites with our Configuration Manager designing but we are unsure what would be the best scenario for the Source Content Location.
Should we just use DFS? or keep it local per site?

It can go anywhere, but you should put it close to your ConfigMgr Primary Site Server. The primary will copy the content from the source to the content library (and then to the distribution points).
Regardless of which file share location you chose, I recommend accessing it from a DNS Alias so that it can be moved later on without having to update all packages/apps/driver packages etc.

Aperture thinks its window is wider than it is

Having a new problem since yesterday. The Aperture window thinks it is wider than it is, meaning that in the viewer images are shifted to the right, sometimes distorted and duplicated. In the browser images fall off the right. The search field is not accessible as its off screen (out of the window).
I've tried rebooting, zapping PRAM, deletiing prefs, reinstalling aperture, switching to other libraries. Same. No other apps have problems. Any ideas?

Trash Aperture's preferences. The preferences.plist stores the current layout of the GUI elements, and if it becomes corrupted you may see these broken layout.

Quit Aperture.
In the Finder choose Go to folder from the Go menu.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field. Press the Go button.
Remove the "com.apple.Aperture.plist" file from the Preferences folder.
Restart your computer if you're using OS X Mavericks.
Note: The locations of your Aperture libraries are stored in the preference file listed above. If you have stored your library outside the default location of ~/Pictures/Aperture Library, make a note of where the library is before deleting the Aperture preferences file. If you have more than one library, you can bring up a dialog to choose which one to load by pressing Option immediately after you open Aperture.
In addition to the file "com.apple.Aperture.plist" you may also need to remove the mirrored copy in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture/

Best practice to handle contents greater than 1 TB

Hello All,
I am using Sharepoint 2010 and I need to know whats the best practice to handle contents greater than 1 TB
Specifics
1) Contents will be collection of images (Jpeg format) and collectively the sizes can go above 1 TB till 10 TB or more
2) Image will be uploaded to sharepoint though webservice
So any of below option suitable? if not, then any other option?

- Document Center
- Record Center
- Asset Library
- Picture Library

If at all possible make your web service clever enough to split content over multiple site collections to allow you to have smaller individual databases.
It can be done but you need to do a lot of reading on this to do it well. You'll also need a good DBA team to maintain the environment.

XL email attachment wider than 255 Characters

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to send an e-mail with an XL attachment which needs to be
wider than the standard 255 characters. I'm using the function module
SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 and am passing it a tab delimited table in it's
objbin parameter. Objbin is only 255 characters wide!
Can anyone show me how to send a wider attachment.

Diagnosis
You attempted to define a query where the line width of the generated list is greater than 255 characters.
You define the line width on the Title, Format screen which permits a maximum width of 255 characters. However, when defining statistics and ranked lists, you can implicitly increase this value, since the lines cannot be broken up. This is the case here. An implicit increase in the width of the list would result in a list wider than 255 characters. For this reason, the query cannot be executed.
Procedure
Check which of the statistics or ranked lists is responsible and modify it so that the resulting list width is no greater than 255 characters.

There is limitation of 255 characters .. can we extend that .
When we check by editing program in sq01 it show only 255 character limitation .

Since upgrading to Yosemite, when I try to compose a new message, the window is wider than the screen and I can't adjust the width.

Ever since I upgraded to Yosemite on my MacBook Air, I cannot get the mail window to adjust to a size that fits my screen. It is wider than the screen size and although I can adjust the height, the adjustment arrows will not adjust the width. I am not having the same problem with my mac mini since I upgraded that computer. This is a pain because I spend most of my time on my air sending out e-mails to clients

It appears you are experiencing issues with window sizes and displays. Have you attempted to adjust your resolution at any point? That may be why the windows aren't managed properly. The following article may help you find a solution:

Your display’s resolution determines the size of text and objects on your screen. By default, the resolution on your display is set to show the sharpest text and the most detailed images. While it’s best to use the default resolution, you can manually set the resolution to make text and objects appear larger on your screen, or adjust it to make text and objects appear smaller so you have more space on your screen.
Depending on how you adjust the resolution, some apps may not fit entirely on the screen. Using a scaled resolution may affect performance.
Set the resolution for your primary display

Set the resolution for a connected display
If you have more than one display, additional resolution options are available.

SCCM 2012 source content gets deleted

I have been using SCCM 2012 for over a year now and have jsut noticed that all of the content in my original source folders has been deleted. I am trying to redistribute this missing content with no luck, mainly because it doesnt exist anymore.
I have two questions.
1. How do I change the cleanup of the source content folder
2. How do I re-download software updates to redistribute once the source content gets deleted.
Has anyone else had this problem?

BI Report output appear wider than normal

Hi,
We upgraded the BI system from BI 7.0 to BI 7.1. After upgrading the BI development system, we found some changes in the Web report output. One of them is below:
The columns (all columns, char and key figure) appear wider than normal. So we are wasting lot of space in the report. Is there any setting on the web template, or elsewhere, to u2018auto sizeu2019 the columns?

Update Region Iframe source via javascript

I have looked at Carls example on showing an iframe within a table. I have a tree of records on left side of page and html region on right.
I have the iframe html in the region source.
How can I update this in javascript.
I tried
document.getElementById("test").innerHTML = gReturn
where gReturn has the iframe source.
it returns javascript error - I am thinking that I can't use innerhtml for my region (named test).
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
