IFS and security based on custom attributes??

Is it possible to control the access to documents stored in iFS by cross checking the user's permissions and custom attributes values of files stored in iFS??.
Thanks
Sankar

Hi,
You can use tables AUSP, CRMD_MKTBP_AUSP.
Function modules:
CRM_MKTBP_READ_AUSP_EX_DB
CRM_MKTBP_READ_AUSP_GUID
CRM_MKTBP_READ_BP_SEL_AUSP

  • Extractrion of account and contacts based on marketing attributes

    Hi experts,
    I need to extract account and contact based on marketing attributes from sap crm to a .csv file. i m writing a programme for it.
    i have requirment where i need to exract all accounts in different file based on markting attributes and same requirement i mean i need to extract contact also based on same marketing attributes in different file. i know there is a table AUSP from whre we can pass bp_guid. but then how can i extract them in different files.
    thnks in advance.

    Based on Marketing attributes you will query AUSP table so you will get BP_GUID. Now based on BP Guid get the roles of the partners. If the partner is Account then read it into one table and if the partner is contact read it into another account. Using GUI_DOWNLOAD you can download both them into different files.

  • Sets based off custom Attribute

    So I am provisioning Security Groups to FIM based on a custom attribute, there are some other groups also located in the FIM portal. I am trying to create a Set for the groups based on the custom attribute, but I am not finding it my list of available attributes
    to make a criteria.
    I probly am missing something simple. The attribute is already binded to the group and they are provisioning FIM into the portal.
    Thanks
    Russell Lema

    1. Make sure that this new attribute is in the Filter configuration as attribute allowed to be used in filters.
    2. If it is not visible in drop-down you can always just provision a group and set this directly as XPath - either through script or through "advanced view". I know not a perfect solution but works 100% time :)

  • Can I create and add my own customized attribute in Org.Model?

    Hi,
    I have a question on Org.Model. If I have to add my own attribute in the 'Attributes' tab, how can I add one.
    My scenario is like this:
    We are using the std Org determination based on employee responsible. But an employee may exist in more than one position in the CRM Org.structure. The ideal scenario would be to have the Org Determination talking place with a combination of Employee Responsible and the Store(customized) partner function.
    Please see what guidance you experts can give me. Points will be generous.
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi Fredrick,
    I dont think this should be a problem as when a user is assigned to two different org units, and when you are using the rule based to determine org based on the user (standard rule 10000194), the system will pop up to select the relevant org (it will pop up both org units where the user is assigned) and you need to select one that is relevant to you.
    This pop comes in transactions when you enter the employee responsible and if the org data profile is assigned to the transaction type.
    Hope this clarifies as per my undersatnding of your requirement and reward points if useful.

  • Route WorkItem based on custom Attributes/ Metadata

    On my current project we have a requirement where scanned whitemail will be stored in DMS (Documentum), along with meta data. Then the DMS will create a work item in CRM for futher porcessing.
    1> where is this meta data stored in crm once the work item is created?
    2>  Is it possible to route the work item to specific teams interaction center (IC) Inbox  based on the metadat using standard config?
    I'm new to this WF area so a detailed step by step answer will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Sam

    Hi,
    1) If you know the work item ID, you can get the "metadata" (=container) with function SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER. Or you can see it in workflow log. The container data is stored as XML and you cannot read it with SE16 similarly to normal tables.
    2) Yes. There are lot of different possibilitites for this. You can create a custom rule, for which you can give the "metadata" as a parameter, and inside the rule you can have your own custom logic to get the needed agents. You can either code or configure this depending on the requirement.
    In overall these are really basic WF functionalities. You should just first get yourself familiar with WF basics (tutorials, courses, etc.) and then ask more specific questions. Nobody here will probably start teaching you the basics step by step.
    Kind regards,
    Karri

    No. Our IMAP4 server does not support SSL.

  • Multiple instance of custom attributes ACS 5.x

    Hello,
    is there a way to have multiple instances of user custom attributes and
    insert those as multiple instances of the A/V Pair in the authorisation profile in ACS 5.2/5.3 ?
    Background:
    We have to migrate a ACS 4.2 to 5.3.
    In ACS 4.2 our client used the multiline attribute
    Number
    Name
    Description
    Type of Value
    Inbound/Outbound
    Multiple
    22
    Framed-Route
    Routing  information to configure for the user on this AAA client. The RADIUS  RFC (Request for Comments) format (net/bits [router [metric]]) and the  old style dotted mask (net mask [router [metric]]) are supported. If the  router field is omitted or zero (0), the peer IP address is used.  Metrics are ignored.
    String
    Outbound
    Yes
    to specify multiple routes to various networks in the RADIUS reply spcific for every single PPP username of routers dialing in.
    Using the internal user database, extended by a string attribute and using that attribute as source of a dynamic value
    in the access-policy works basically.
    But as I have only ONE single line instance of the attribute for every user, I can only return ONE framed-route.
    We have lots of cases where multiple routes have to be assigned to one router.
    I 'd like to avoid defining a seperate access profile for every remote RAS router for external PPP Dial-In...
    I Think Jack here https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2032506 has a simmilar issue...
    Any idea?
    Thanks, Frank

    I had to do this once and I created several custom attributes
    -Route1   (String)
    -Route2 (String)
    -Route3 (String)
    etc ...
    And in the authorization profile you return all those custom attributes as Framed-route. I was actually sending up to 10 Framed-Routes contained in 10 different attributes.

  • Programmatically create custom attributes in KM

    Hi all,
    We are implementing an application which uploads/downloads files to/from KM content of a portal user. The application will also display the list of files for the portal user. The file list displays the standard file attributes: filename,  created_date, size.
    Additionally to these attributes we want to store  some custom attributes (e.g. last sent to, received from...) for files in the KM.
    We need to create these custom attributes programmatically at runtime, if the file is stored/updated in the KM content.
    How can we programmatically create these kind of custom attributes in KM and read/write these custom attributes at runtime?
    Thanks,

  • Export Custom Attribute Mapping

    Hello Gurus!
    I'm migrating a xMII 11.5 project to MII 12.1 and the migration tool was fine on creating the Custom Attributes and Custom Attribute Mapping. However, what I need now is to export Custom Attribute and Custom Attribute Mapping from MII 12.1 DEV to QAS and PRD.
    My question is: When exporting Custom Attributes from Configurations menu, it will export Custom Attribute Mapping too? How can I export and import Custom Attribute Mapping from DEV to QAS and PRD?
    Thanks

    Manoel,
    have you tried the following:
    - open System Management / Configurations
    - unmark the "Select All" and only mark the "Custom Attributes"
    - click export and save the zip file
    The exported zip file should include all the settings. In your follow up systems QAS and PRD you can import the zip file.

  • CUP Custom Attributes

    Dear Experts,
    In our CUP System we have autoprovision.
    For Request panel we are trying to add the password and room number as custom attributes.
    During autoprovision will it save the password and room number in SAP ?
    Regards
    Hari

    Hi Hari,
    you will not be able to set the password manually.
    Room n umber will not be a problem: create a custom field, the go to Field Mapping - Provisioning and a a mapping of that field to "Room or appartment number".
    Be careful when experimenting with custom fields - once you have created a custom field and used it in a request, there is NO way to get rid of it again, and it might also appear on your request screen forever! Best option is to do a backaup of your DEV system (GRC Java only) just in case...

  • Bursting with translation and security attributes?

    Hi folks,
    I've been lurking on the forum for a while and despite not always finding a solution, existing threads normally pointed me in the right direction - so thanks :)
    I'm working on EBS 11.5.10 with the latest Bi-Publisher 5.6.3 (5472959) and bursting (5968876) patches installed.
    I have successfully done the following individual AR Invoice Bi-Publisher tasks:
    1. translated an invoice RTF template by attaching an xliff file to the data definition,
    2. applied security attributes to the template to restrict updates on the resulting PDF,
    3. burst a custom AR invoice print and emailed the resultant pdf's.
    The PDF generated by the combined Invoice print correctly applies the translation and security attributes; however when I run the "XML Publisher Report Bursting Program" to the XML file the resultant burst PDF's do not apply the translation or security attributes. I assume this a limitation of bursting control files? If so, is this on the list of future enhancements to Bi-Publisher?
    Here's an example of my control file document entry, I have included locale and pdf-security entries - these don't cause an error but equally don't generate the desired result (p.s. I know I'm emailing on a PRI filter - it's just a test):
    <xapi:document output-type="pdf" delivery="att_email">
    <xapi:template type="rtf"
    location="/usr/tmp/xxxINVOICE3.rtf"
    locale="fr-US"
    pdf-security="true" pdf-encryption-level="1" pdf-permissions-password="xxxxxx"
    filter=".//G_INVOICE_HEADER[PRINTING_OPTION='PRI']" >
    </xapi:template>
    </xapi:document>
    Thanks
    Dave

    You would have happened to try applying the security stuff in the application for your template? Try that and see if the pdf properties get set.
    If that doesn't work your left with two options:
    1. create a java concurrent program and set the properties manually.
    2. Log a tar.
    =================
    ==local idea's
    =================
    Are you sure you don't have to create template config for the locale? i suspect that's why it's not applying the xliff translation. Also, your NLS_LANG needs to be set to FRENCH for the approriate template to be applied. If your logged-in as english your french format template will not be applied, neither will the translation. As an example you can query vl table and you'll only get american (us) but if you alter your session you'll get the translation for that language when your query the table.
    location="xdo://xxxAR.xxx_XML_PRINT.fr.US"
    try it out and see if that works. Note: This will only work if your session NLS_LANG is set to FRENCH.

  • Problem with setting custom attribute and it being searchable

    I'm having an issue with setting a custom attribute and having it be searchable using Portal 10.1.4. The situation that we have is that we initially added a bunch of files to Oracle Portal using webdrive. Later on, we decided that we needed another custom attribute called "Pinned Item" that will be used for searching (boolean value) and gave it a default value of false. The attribute was then added to the "File" item type in the "Shared Objects" group.
    It appears that since this attribute wasn't initially available on the file object, we couldn't search on it so we decided to set it programatically. First, I tried using wwsbr.set_attribute but it errored out seemingly because the value wasn't set in the first place. If I set a value first by using the web front end, I could then use the set_attribute procedure.
    So, I moved on to using wwsbr_api.modify_item and it appears to set it (although everything is being set to false until I changed it to "text" instead of "boolean" which is OK because that's what I wanted anyway... see metalink bug 390618.1). I'm using the method outlined in metalink doc 413079.1. When I do set it to a "1", and edit the item the check box is checked indicating that it is set correctly. And if I just click "OK" to save the attributes after I open it everything works like it should.
    However, the advanced search (and custom search portlet) and the search APIs are not picking it up. I'm not sure if I'm hitting Metalink bug ID 5592472 or not as that's using the "set_attribute" procedure instead of the modify_item procedure. And their "workaround" of setting the attribute in the UI isn't really feasible for a couple thousand files.
    So far I've tried the following things to get it working:
    1. I am calling wwpro_api_invalidation.execute_cache_invalidation
    2. I have executed wwv_context.sync
    3. I cleared the page group cache
    4. I invalidated all of the web cache
    Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

    While creating Sales Order in VA01 how to bring different price for the same material for Platinum,Gold and Silver Customers.

    A good place to start is http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/javatips/jw-javatip34.html
    Also, do a search in this forum on HttpURLConnection. That class allows you to use POST method to send form data to a web server.
    "Hidden" variables are only hidden in HTML. The HTTP that gets POSTed to the web server doesn't distinguish between hidden and not hidden. That is, the content you would write to the HttpURLConnection.getOutputStream() would be something like:
    hidden=1&submit=ok(Of course, the variable names would depend on what the web server was expecting from the form.)
    Also, be sure to set the Content-Type request parameter to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
