Im locked out my ipod touch and i no longer have the computer to hook it back to itunes to reset or restore it. when i connect to itunes its asking me to enter lock code but i cant
help me a.s.a.p
Since you do not have the syncing computer, all you can do is to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. For recovery modes see:

I found my old iPod that I haven't used since about 2010, and I no longer have the computer that the library was synced with. Is there any way to get my music off of it so that I can put it on my new iPod? The old one is a 30 GB from 2005.
CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

forgotten passcode and I no longer have the computer I intially synced my ipad to itune with, how can I restore my ipad
You will still need to connect it to a computer's iTunes to reset it, and you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to do so : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If it's not a computer that it's been synced to then do you have a backup on iCloud that you could then restore from ? Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the items are still in the store, you may be able to re-download some/all of your purchases via the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps, and the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app. -
I have all my music on my ipod touch. I no longer hav ethe pc that stored my music. Can I get my music to cloud by activating it with my ipod? If not how do I get my music back on my pc?
iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
The content should have been copied from the old computer to the new computer or at the very least from the backup of the old computer. -
I have an IPod touch and it had a password on it. I cant remember the password and do not have the computer anymore that I used to sync to iTunes. The message that I get is "iTunes could not connect to iPod Touch because it is locked with a passcode. You must eneter your passcode on the iPod touch before it can be used with iTunes."
How can I go back to factory setting (knowing that I will lose what is on the IPod) and use a different iTunes account.Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Hey! My iPod is lost =( The caractheristics of it are: black iPod, blue case, and the home button doesn´t work, please, if you have it, please tell me
Hi Cynthia,
If you did not have Find My iPod enabled, and you do not have iCloud, then you cannot track it. You can report it to the police, you should change your AppleID password, and then all you can do is old fashioned detective work - start with the last place you remember having it, and check every place in between that point and now....
Sorry you lost your iPod - hope you find it!
Cheers,

I need help... I no longer have all of the buttons on my IPod touch screen. My grandson got a hold of it and boom.. The time and date is wrong also, and I have no access to fix this problem. There is no settings button.
Any help would be appreciated.Assuming that by buttons your mean the icons for various apps are missing, use the Spotlight search feature (double click the Home button and go all the way to the left past the music controls) and search for: Settings. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Screen layout and also correct the time inthe Genera settings.
The Setting app can't be deleted or hidden via Restrictions. -
My ipod touch 3g keeps asking to connect to itunes and i no longer have the computer
help me please
Connect the iPod to another computer that has iTunes installed and restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod If iTunes asks for the passcode and you do not know it or it will not accept the passcode, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore it. For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
You will lose everything on the iPod, but that is the way it is. -
I no longer have the computer I used to sync my Ipod Touch when it was new. Now the Ipod is locked and disabled and Itunes requests me to enter the passcode which I cannot do becasue the Ipod is locked! Any suggestions?
If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected (or the device was never connected to a computer) you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:
iOS: Unable to update or restore - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 - recovery mode (e.g., cannot connect to computer last used to sync device, iTunes still asks for a password) -
i just baught a new ipod touch and synched it to my old computer to get the music off it but when i synched it to my new computer it wants to delete all the music on it that wasnt baught through itunes....how do i keep my cd's and stuff that are on the ipod now and put it onto my new computer?
These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

I have an IPod Touch and how do I upgrade the OS so I can download stuff that needs IOS 4 or 5 please?
Which iPod touch do you have? If you're not sure, take a look at this -> Identifying iPod models
This Apple article outlines the versions of iOS that will work on each iPod touch.
Notes:
iOS 4.2 is the latest version of iOS for iPod touch (2nd generation).
iOS 3.1.3 is the latest version of iOS for iPod touch (1st generation). If you are using an iPod touch (1st generation) with iOS 2.x or earlier, you can purchase iOS 3 from the iTunes Store. See this article for more information. -
