IMac crashing, New to Apple Support...Does this mean anything:

Question

After one year of using it without issues my iMac began crashing occasionally. I timed it. . . every 23-24 minutes I'd get a spinning colored-wheel. . . I repaired permissions and this improved the frequency of not crashing to about every couple days. Today, it crashed (maybe) three times. I am new to things-Apple. . .
I found this in one of the logs. What does this mean?

Welcome to the forums!
If you are having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.
