Image extending past border

Hi everyone,
I am making a book in Aperture and noticed that when I put borders on my images, if I zoom in to 100%, the image seems to extend beyond the border (as opposed to the border actually framing the image). Has anyone else ever had this issue and or know how to fix it?

Menu Bar extend past screen limits on 27" IMac at 2560x1440 ?

My Menu bar and for that matter the whole desktop extends past the sides of the screen, so that I actually have to scroll to get to items on the far sides of the screen. If I reduce the resolution to 1600x1280 the same thing happens. When I go back to 2560, the desktop has an approximate 2" border on the top and left side that shows a blue background. The computer is a 27" IMac, 2.8 Ghz Intel Core I7, and I don't know that I did anything wrong or what's happening. The computer is about 4 months old.

Have you tried checking whether the "Accessibility" control panel settings changed?
It seems to me you have some visually impaired setting enabled.
I think I've done this inadvertently by holding a modifier key (command?) while using my scroll wheel.

Illustrator image copy/paste onto the Indesign the text should automatically converted into image?

Is there options to get the image copy & paste into the Indesign, if i done manually the frames and lines stroke, colors, are coming fine, but the text object only converted the image. i want to edit text in indesign.
this is possible for scripting or manual?

You can copy/paste from Illy to ID by selecting the text with the type tool in Illy and then pasting it into ID. You will not be able to maintain the formatting. If you want to maintain the appearance the text will be converted to outlines.
If you need to get anything other than very simple objects from Illy to ID then you should save as AI and use the file > place command to place those objects as linked graphics into ID.
Your closing statement is irrelevant. Whether you like it or not, this is the way it is.

Nope, there is no second row. There should be a scroll arrow "button" at the bottom and the top of that drop-down to allow you scroll, or you can use the scroll wheel on the mouse scroll further down (or back up).

Header extends past the page in Adobe Muse after uploading to web

Here is an example of my issue. Both are set to 100% width and both are edge to edge when i put them in...however as you can see, the header extends past the rest of the page instead of being aligned with the rest of the content.

It clearly shows the trends to larger monitors. That being said, you definitely don't want people encountering horizontal scroll bars when they come to your site. I would say you could safely expand to 1024 or possibly 1200 to accomodate members' artwork.
A suggestion for you...when you go to the Gallery page and click on the various members' names, it scrolls down nicely to their respective part of the gallery. But then you have to manually scroll up or down. You can make the menu of members' names "sticky" so that it stays with the viewer as they scroll. They can then easily move to different parts of the page without all the scrolling.

How can I copy and paste border style in the new Number? In the previous version, I'm able to do this by allowing border selection, now I can't.

but Aperture has a nice clone tool - the drawback is, that it only works within one image.
What I sometimes do - as a workaroud, when I want to use the clone brush, is to combine the image I want to clone from and the image I want to clone into, into one single image by printing them together to pdf as jpeg. Then I can clone from the second to the first, for example, to be able to add an fairy to a flower: Picking up the head of the fairy in the right image and brushing it into the left one. Occasionally I prefer the Aperture brush to the Photoshop lasso.

Dreamweaver Table Width Extending Past Page Border Question

I am updating a template for a client and my layout keeps extending beyond the width designated. I have went through the layout and tried to find and take out any extra table rows and columns or images. I have tried find/replace and replaced all widths with the correct widths. I have tried to physically click on the edge of the table and move it to the correct width. Nothing is working. Please help me get these tables to be the size I tell them to be!

The first rule of troubleshooting layout problems is to make sure that the code on your page validates. Let's start with the template page. It doesn't.
Go here and validate your template page - http://validator.w3.org - and you will find 49 errors, some of which are caused by not knowing the rules, others of which are caused by careless rummaging in the code. Any one or combination of ones of these could be causing your table to behave poorly. So now the trick is to go through the page and fix the validation errors. Note that both the name attribute and the id attribute can only contain letters and numbers, and cannot begin with a number. Yours contain spaces and punctuation - a real no-no. All of these should be fixed.
Also note that one of your nested tables (they are nested at least 6 deep!) has this code -

Maybe that's why it's wider than you wanted - 965px?

I've seen this on some sites, where instead of a dashed or

something similar that runs down the side of the div containing the
content of the page. I'd like to do this on one of my sites. How is

Its just a repeating background image attached to a container
that is
slighlty larger than the container within it.
In the case of the html/css below create an image 760px wide
then create
a shadow effect which occupies 40px at either end of it, fill
in the
680px center section in white. Save the image into a folder
named
'images' in your site root folder. Copy and paste the code

New to java: how to replace an image extending a JComponent?

Hi,
I'm new to Java and I have a question about Swing:
I have a class called ActiveImage (entends JComponent, implements     MouseMotionListener, MouseWheelListener) which takes an Image and displays it. It also receives some mouse events for zooming and moving it around. I display it in a JFrame using:
content = getContentPane();
content.setLayout(new BorderLayout());
image = toolkit.getImage (filename);
ActiveImage activeImage = new ActiveImage(image);
content.add(activeImage, BorderLayout.CENTER);
(This code is in a class extending JFrame.)
This works fine. However, this JFrame also contains a JToolbar with two buttons. Now when I click one of them, I want to replace the image with another one. I've tried removing it and creating a new ActiveImage to add that to content, but that didn't work very well. remove() resulted in a NullPointerException.
My question: what would be the best way to go about this?

Boxed text as inline extending past margins?

Hi,
I actually have a few questions. I have a boxed caption with cornered edges. Once I set the box to cornered edges, my ability to change the inset spacing individually goes away. I want the left, right and top margins to be .15in, but the bottom to be smaller, about .12 in. Anyway to geet around this?
And, with this same type box, the box extends beyond the margins of the text that I want to place it in. Is there anyway to do inline graphics that extend beyond the left margin.
And, is there a way to set up a outlined box with rounded edges that increases/decreases in size as I flow in text. I'm thinking of maybe making it a table, but maybe there's a better way?

You can't adjust the frame insets, but you can increase the paragraph indents to increase the left and right indents overall while leaving the top and bottom alone.
The only thing that can go inline in text and extend beyond the margins is a table. You could add a one-cell table in a paragraph of its own (center aligned if you want it to extend beyond both margins) and paste your frame into that. Out of the box, there is no way to auto-fit a frame to text content as you type or place the text, but I believe Typefi has a plugin...

Printing in InDesign 5.5 doesnt print the image, just the border. Any idea why this is?

It will print a blank page other than the border around the image.

Do you mean that the text frame has a stroke? And what do you mean by "...other than the border"?
Have you checked these things?
Is the image on a non-printing layer?
Is the link missing or is the status out of date?
Are other images printing fine?
Does it appear if you print to another printer or print to PDF?
