Image Gallery Rollover effect
First Issue: I've dynamically created the image gallery, on
rollover or mouseover i'm using the zoom in effect, on rollout i'm
using the zoom out effect (that will return to the original size).
onrollover

zm.zoomWidthFrom = 1.2;

zm.play();
It is working fine when the mouse is moved slowly (after
playing the full zoom), if i move rapidly (if i rollout before the
play effect finishes), the image's position will be changed. Please
give me a solution for this.
Second issue: I'm also trying to mask the image. all the
thumbnails will be inside a canvas. How to mask the image with the
sprite and use the zoom effect.

I've decided to switch to the JQuery Lightbox Image Gallery instead. In IE8 I get the following message:

Is there a way to create a CSS image gallery with caption?

Ive been using the disjoint rollover, but I only have one
thing that I want to add to it—a caption right underneath an
image.
Besides using that Project Seven plug-in, is there a way to
create an image gallery without using layers? Or is layers the only
way to do it? All I want (words of doom, huh?) is a thumbnail to be
able to switch and image and add a caption to it. Can anyone point
me in the right direction? Or is that Project Seven plug-in deal my
best bet? What about Set Text of Layer in DW.
Oh yeah, Im still using DW with CSS sprinkled in..any help?

Of course.

That would do it, and it's not necessary that the layer stay
a layer after
you have done it, either. I do this frequently - make a
layer, apply the
behavior, and then remove the position:absolute from the div,
and place it
where I want it.

How can I create a high res image gallery, need to have print res photos for a pressroom section.
If you want Muse to "pass through" your images and not adjust, compress, crop etc - you need to place your images in the lightbox EXACTLY at the right size, pre-cropped and prepped in Photoshop.
So if your light box is 800x600 the image you're dropping into that must be 800x600 exactly with no effects, rotation etc added to the lightbox frame. This stop Muse fiddling with your images, if they are perfect when inserted and you're not asking Muse to crop, expand, add effects etc. If it's perfect when inserted, Muse SHOULD also leave the resolution alone too, but I have not tried that one, but in theory, it should work. -
Need advice/idea about Image gallery
Hello to ALL!!!
I'm trying to make an dynamic image gallery WITH!!! some
active buttons above (for example: BUTTON1 with function "delete"
and BUTTON2 with function "update") a picture and some "dataoutput"
below (for example:Price). So, separate cell must look like:

For implementation this task I have:
1) mySQL database "gallery" with table "test" and columns
"Id", "path to image", "Price"
2) 2 gifs: BUTTON1, BUTTON2
Before my first trying I thought that it's simple, and I've
tried:

And I afraid that I've chosen a "wrong method" (I mean my
code above)

How to use CSS in div tag, which includes <cfloop>
code. I've also tried to use CSS with structure like:

re the 2 buttons above the image: consider turning them into
css image

Hi all,
I am trying to work out how to create an image gallery on a
page whereby there is a set of thumbnails to the side and the
relevant large image opens adjacent to the thumbnails when they are
moused over.
I have done this using the hide/show layers function but the
output appears incosistently in different browsers and/or window
sizes. I had in mind some adaptation of the "swap image" behaviour
that would open the swap in a different position? Or alternatively
making the layers approach display consistently?

Hi,
modified the demo image-gallery and finally got it working
for me properly in IE and Firefox. But finally my whole dataset
comes with undefined values in Safari. The gallery is

the xml. Could anyeno be so kind and have a quick look at it and
maybe give a hint? I'm searching for hours now and don't get
further ...

what we discovered.
Safari converts uppercase letters in attributes to lowercase.
Since XML is case sensitive, therefore IMAGEID becomes
imageid. Since your data references are still uppercase, they fail
to match and you get undefined.
Uppercase attributes are rare, hence this is the first we
have seen of this error.
To see this in action, try this in your page:

alert(Spry.Utils.serializeObject(rows));
</script>
To solve this, convert your XML files to use lowercase
attribute names.
We will write this up somewhere.

Hi folks,
I'd like to receive some comments on the topic "Image gallery in SAP EP" as quite often there is a need for storing content in form of images in the KM and the standard renderers available do not satisfy advanced scenarios or non-SAP standard environments.
As there is heaps of image gallery libraries around for usage in standard web pages and open portals - mostly based on Java or Javascript - I wonder if these can be easily used within SAP EP.
So my question: Did anyone integrate a free image gallery software into SAP EP and are there any drawbacks/experiences or remarks you might want to share with me?!
The gallery should sport thumbnails previews, tagging, additional attributes, convenience functions (mass-renaming, mass-resizing), flashy previews, etc.

Actionscript image gallery doesn't recognize load request

Rollover effects on links not displaying correctly

I have added rollover effects to links on a website I am working on. However, some of them do not display properly when uploaded. Here is a link to the website:

You will notice on the home page in the "News" column there is a "CLICK HERE to view our blog" link, but it is displaying in blue making it very hard to read. I have a class assigned to it so that it is the same color as the rest of the text in the column, but when you mouse over it changes to bold and underlined (which it does).
Also, on the history page, there is a link to the photo gallery and again, it is not displaying properly.

You need to define CSS rules for all of them.
In the absence of a:visited, you're seeing an unstyled, browser default a:visited link.

on the right hand side in our fleet, there are some red menu links that when you scroll over them, the image above changes. I think this is using flash?
I know I cant use the swap image behaviour in dreamweaver cs4 as the 2 images have to be the same size.
Hopefully it is using some sort of java script. Thanks!This was done in Flash probably for the effect that you see in the image that changes (a white silhouette slides in behind the crane picture). If you can live without that you can accomplish the same thing with a jQuery slider. Check this one out, it's pretty easy to modify if you've worked with CSS and JavaScript before:
