ImagePattern - is ready to use?

Hello, all!
I tried ImagePattern from JavaFX 2.2.9
Created such simplicated app ( based on docs )
import javafx.scene.paint.ImagePattern;
import javafx.application.Application;
import javafx.scene.Group;
import javafx.scene.Scene;
import javafx.scene.image.Image;
import javafx.scene.image.ImageView;
import javafx.scene.shape.Circle;
import javafx.stage.Stage;
public class HelloImagePattern extends Application {
    @Override
    public void start(Stage stage) {
        stage.setTitle("Image Pattern");
        Group root = new Group();
        Scene scene = new Scene(root, 600, 450);
        Image img = new Image(HelloImagePattern.class.getResource("flower.png").toExternalForm(), true);
        ImageView iv = new ImageView(img);
        Circle circ = new Circle(50);
        circ.setTranslateX(120);
        circ.setTranslateY(10);
        circ.setCenterX(50);
        circ.setCenterY(50);
//    circ.setFill(new ImagePattern(img, 0.2, 0.2, 0.4, 0.4, true));
        root.getChildren().addAll(iv, circ);
        stage.setScene(scene);
        stage.show();
}While commented line stays commented all works fine.
But if I try uncomment it, thus pushing ImagePattern usage, such exception appears:

Surprisingly, it does help!!!
But I suspect it is a bug nevertheless.
Why we can't use background downloading for image pattern in the same time using it for imageview...
So, this topic closed, I will submit it to jira.
