IMAP/POP3 provider for JMS

I've searched through the net, but yet unsuccessfully. The question was: is there any IMAP/POP3 provider for JMS available? Or there are only MOM-oriented solutions?
Thanks in advance!

Check out SwiftMQ. It provides a JavaMail bridge for in/outbound bridges JMS/JavaMail and vice versa:

  • Best E-Mail Provider For iPhone

What is the best email provider for iPhone. I have used hotmail for a long time, but I know that's not a good one to use with the iPhone, so I'm looking to start a new email account. Is there one email provider that I should clearly go with?

The free Yahoo account provided for iPhone customers, which can be accessed as a standard IMAP or Push-IMAP account - with account settings available on the iPhone to switch between the two protocols, cannot be accessed with an email client on your computer - such as with Outlook or Outlook Express.
You can access a Gmail account as an IMAP account with an email client on your computer as well as with the iPhone's Mail client - keeping the account's server stored mailboxes synchronized between the email client used on your computer to access the account and with the iPhone's Mail client.
A Push-IMAP account provides for not having to check the account's incoming mail server for new messages but IMO, not worth having if I can't access the account with an email client on my computer also.

  • How to disable Outlook for checking for IMAP/POP3 Certificate Name Mismatch?

I have outlook clients that are connected to an IMAP/POP3 server that's off-site provided by company A.
Company A requires me to enter imap.companya.com for imap server address and 993 for the port.
I must also enable SSL for the connection.
When I do this, Outlook pops up an error message (shown below), that must be reacted to every time it checks for mail.
The reason is that the certificate is for myserver.companya123.com and that's different than imap.companya.com but company A wont change it. They said I need to disable my email programs certificate check so it doesn't keep prompting
me. Now I can do this with my iphone, and other email programs without incident. But I cannot find where to disable it in outlook.
If I change the imap server address in my account settings for outlook to instead use myserver.company a123.com, outlook can't connect and as the vendor said I must use imap.companya.com as the imap server address.
I need to be able to connect via SSL (so nobody can swipe my password over the wire) but not have to react 1000x a day to the certificate warnings.
I don't want to use Eudora, or another email client that allows me to easily disable the warning. I want to use outlook. How do I set outlook so it doesn't keep popping up these certificate server name mismatch warnings?
I spent days searching for a fix, and it seems there are fixes via the registry for just about every type of certificate issue, but NOT THIS PARTICULAR ONE.
I am hoping someone knows exactly what I am talking about and knows of a easy fix. I must use SSL so please don't tell me to disable SSL.
What I need is to disable outlook from presenting that alert. That's what I need to do. No other solution will suffice. I hope outlook does not have a product limitation that prevents such a thing from being done. I am ok with a registry fix if need be, but
being able to disable outlook from presenting certificate name mismatch alerts is critical. Hope its possible! Thanks!

    Hi,
I would suggest we try the registry key mentioned in this
article (Method 4) to configure Outlook to allow the connection to the mismatched domain name, and see if it works:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\<var>xx</var>.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover\RedirectServers
Let me know if this doesn't work.

Shouldn't I be getting a com.evermind.sql.OrclCMTConnection created instead of a com.evermind.sql.OrionCMTConnection (per the stack trace)? OJMS is complaining that it doesn't have an OracleCOnnection but how do I tell it to use the "OrclCMTConnection" class instead?

  • Javamail - no pop3 provider

    Hello,
i have a problem with the javamail-1.3.1 API within the Oracle 9i (9.2.0.3) on Linux.
I would like to retrieve a POP3 account and process the incoming mails within a Java Stored Procedure.
I uploaded the javamail classes (imap.jar, mailapi.jar, pop3.jar, smtp.jar and the acivation.jar) into my account with the loadjava tool ( -resolve). When i try now to connect to a pop3 account, i get the error:
    javax.mail.NoSuchProviderException: No provider for pop3
On the terminal my function works properly, so i list the available javamail providers and notice that on the oracle 9i the pop3 provider is missing.
    my sourcecode fragment:
    Properties props = System.getProperties();
    Session session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null);
    Provider[] providers = session.getProviders();
    for (int z = 0; z < providers.length; z++)
    System.out.println (providers[z]);
store = session.getStore("pop3"); // within the Oracle, i get here the above error
    terminal - provider list:
    javax.mail.Provider[STORE,pop3,com.sun.mail.pop3.POP3Store,Sun Microsy stems, Inc]
    Oracle 9i - provider list:
    javax.mail.Provider[TRANSPORT,smtp,com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport,Sun
    Microsystems, Inc]
Where is my pop3 provider and how can register my pop3 mail provider within the oracle 9i ?
    best regards

Good job coming up with the workaround, verpixelt! I guess it seems that Apple's philosophy is to make it 'even that much easier' to setup an email account on the iphone in iOS5, however, my legacy email account is not IMAP, and yet it tried to create an IMAP account, which wreaked havoc on my ability to use my email account on my iphone. Your solution of setting up the account with the wrong password gave me the ability to make the IMAP/POP choice which then allowed my email account to function normally on my iPhone 4S. Thanks.
Apple, - please put the IMAP/POP selection option back in for email account setup on the iPhone. Thank you.

    [joyrex75],
I suspect that the CLASSPATH settings on the machine that you are using is pointing only to the mail.jar file. If you are setting up the Java runtime environment that includes only the mail.jar file, your runtime environment will not have the mail providers such as the POP3, IMAP or SMTP .jar files.
Point your CLASSPATH to the mailapi.jar file which contains the JavaMail APIs and all the mail protocol providers that SUN supports i.e. POP3, IMAP and SMTP. Try to execute the java command on your JavaMail application and see if throws out the Exception again.

  • Is there any tutorial for jms development with jdeveloper out there ?

    Hi
Thank you for reading my post
is there any tutorial which show us how to use jdeveloper +oc4j for JMS stuff ?

  • Concurrency for JMS Sender Adapter - Async/Sync Bridge

    Hi,
We have implemented a number of Async/Sync bridges using JMS Adapters, and are encountering problems scaling the solution.
    Async-Sync Bridge Scenario:
JMS Sender Adapter -> Integration Server -> Sync ABAP Proxy (CRM) ->  JMS Receiver Adapter
The bridge is using the Adapter Framework modules: RequestResponseBean & ResponseOnewayBean within the Sender Adapter.
The problem is that concurrency of processing seems to be driven from the number of Java Server Cluster Nodes on the Adapter Engine.  The JMS sender adapters do not appear to read from the external messaging system (MQ) in a concurrent fashion.  They appear to process in a sequential manner per Adapter:
    1. Read from request Message Queue (MQ)
    2. Send request for processing (IS)
    3. Wait response message
    4. Receive response message
    5. Write response message to Message Queue (MQ)
    6. Read from request Message Queue (MQ)
    7. Send request for processing (IS)
    8. Wait response message
    9....
We need to be able to introduce some means of scaling the solution so that mesages can be read from the MQ request message queue in a concurrent manner.  Hopefully we can do this without adding more javer server nodes to the Adapter Engine.
We were looking intot he possibility of tuning AS Java properties that control the number of connections to the Messaging System of the Adapter Engine but this has not provided a solution.
Any information on  this topic would be much appreciated.
    regards
    Murray

As far as I know, the only wasy for JMS adapter to do concurrent reads from a queue is by having multiple server nodes. This is document in note 856346, point 6.2
    Thanks

  • Failed to generate Alert for JMS Sender adapter

    Hi Folks,
My scenario is JMS to IDOC..
I have configured the Alert rules and the alerts are working fine for the Integration engine errors.. and apart from the alert rule there is one more alert rule configured for capturing the alerts of the adapter engine..
When i provide the queue name as invalid one .. i am able to receive the alerts for the same via alert rule of adapter engine..
When I force to make the channel to error with the invalid headers of RFH2 (with correct queuename) the channel status is showing error ..but interestingly no alert for the same...
Now My question here is how to test the generation of  the alerts by forcing the JMS sender channel to error. ?
I already checked the report SXMSALERT_LOGREADER for verification but no luck..
Can some one throw light on this?
Forgot to mention i am using IBM MQ ...
    Regards

Edited by: Rajesh on Jul 8, 2010 10:08 AM

    Hi Raj,
Thanks for your reply...I am fetching the RFH headers using UDF via Dynamic config only..
Apart from the configurations errors mentioned for alerts(as i am success in this case)...I am testing if there any data related errors like wrong RFH Headers for JMS sender adapter though the channels showing error status in this case ...but its not throwing the alerts...
I want to know whether the alert will be triggered for this or not...if not why ..as it should..
if yes i am unable to get.. what troubleshooting can be done for this...
if you have any other cases (aprt from config issues)for alert trigger...and also apart from RFH headers case..can u pls share..so that i will try the same..
MY only question here is why the adapter not trigering the alerts when wrong RFH Headers are sent along the message..but showing the channel status as red..(is it a bug ?)
    Thanks in Advance

  • No provider for Address type : rfc822

In my workflow, after instantiating the EJBs, I send a request mail to the
Manager through the WLPI workflow. Everything was going fine. But, ever
since we have moved our SMTP server to a new location, (maintaining the same
host name ), I have been getting errors from WLPI when the mail is to be
    sent.
If I remove the Action which sends the mail (in the Start Node), I don't get
these errors, the instance of the flow is created and all is fine MINUS the
    mails being sent.
But in presence of the action with mail sending functionality, neither the
flow instance is created, nor is the mail sent.
I suspected the problem to be linked with :

    1. The SMTP server setup (which does not seem to be the case looking at the
