IMAQ Copy function does not always copy Calibration Information

This only seems to happen on one PC in compiled form- works fine elsewhere. I wrote a trap to check for the existance of calibration information before the copy, and again after the copy to a newly created image. If the two disagree, the program breaks. The program breaks consistantly on one of my machines, but never on other PCs. Does anyone know what conditions can cause this to happen?

I don't know of anything in particular that would cause the IMAQ Copy function to not copy the pattern matching information on one particular machine. For troubleshooting purposes, I recommend checking for any and all differences between the working machines and the non-working machine. For instance, check the versions of all software that may be used by the application (especially NI-IMAQ and IMAQ Vision). How do the systems differ in hardware? Are they all the same make/model of PC? Are they all using the same IMAQ board?
Any differences you uncover may help us figure out what is causing this behavior. Let me know your findings so I can continue to assist you.

When I press colour and black and white it does print a test page. The printer IS CONNECTED TO A WALL SOCKET. It has been cleaned and has new cartridges. Can you help?

Welcome to the HP Community , I saw your post about your Deskjet 1510 that is unable to produce copies, and wanted to reach out. I would suggest trying a power reset as your last resort to getting the copies to work. If a reset does not help, try another wall outlet. If the copies still do not work, chances are the scanner mechanism has failed internally. I'd then suggest contacting HP to inquire about a printer replacement, or trade in. I will include their contact details below for you. Turn the printer on.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the unit.
If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on. Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number

Command-C does not always copy highlighted text

Sometimes, and annoyingly regularly, when I press command-C in Safari to copy the text does not actually get copied. I have watched and I can see the evidence of the command being acknowledged by the black flash of the edit menu in the menu bar. But it does not work. This problem is intermittent and it has happened when I used Mountain Lion or earlier, and now also in Mavericks. It happens on both my Macs. Does anyone else have this problem?

Have a look at your Keyboard shortcuts, go to:
System Preferences>Keyboard
Select the Shortcuts tab
Select 'Accessibility' on the left hand side, then scroll down to 'Show Accessibility controls' on the right. The default setting should be option-command-F5, if yours says Command-C, this should be an easy fix.

In range and coerce function does not always return a correct result

I passed 20E6 as DBL to "upper limit" input of "in-range and coerce" built-in VI, and also passed 20E6 as DBL to the X input of the VI, yet it says that it is not in range. (Note: lower limit was hardwired to 0.)
Apparently, there is some kind of roundoff error going on with LabVIEW.
I've seen this before when just wiring 2 doubles of the same value to an "=?" built-in VI.
When I display 30 digits or so, the values then display slightly differently.
How do 2 numbers which were entered by ME (not anything else) precisely as 20E6 manage, over time or by passing thru VIs, or by being copied & pasted -- or whatever -- to become "different"?

This simpliest 'In Range and coerce' does not work on my setup (8.0 and XP). The result should be 0 but it returns -5.

Adobe 9 plugin save function does not always work

This may not be a problem with Adobe Reader or Internet Explorer, but my credit card company says it is, so I need to look.
When I try to get my on-line statements from a particular credit card company, a new IE window with Adobe Reader running "underneath" comes up fine. When I press the "Save" icon (the floppy disk icon) nothing happens.
I have done this recently with another similar site (brokerage account) successfully, so my version of Reader and/or IE7 do not seem to be the problem. Note that in all cases the bank/broker do not give direct access to the pdf file, which is probably for security reasons -- in other words, "right-click/save-as" does not work for on-line statements. Instead they run a server-end script which "presents" the pdf to the new browser window. All of this indicates that they have control over the security and therefore disallow me from saving locally.
If anyone knows of a setting I need to make, or if they can confirm that the problem is on the server end, I could use the help. I want to stay paperless, so you'll be helping the environment if you help me :)
My alternative is to print the statement, then scan it and throw it out, which is obviously ridiculous :)

I am having much the same problem as the OP and Martin.
Currently I am running Reader 9 on a Vista computer. This is a new computer and I was able to save my credit card statement in January. Then after I saved my statement in January, I believe I upgraded Reader at some point, and when I tried to save my February statement it wouldn't work.
I have tried to right click on the document, and there is no "Save As..." option. But like someone else posted, it's just a long gibberish type name in IE address bar.
I also tried printing the document to a file, but that does not work either. It fails to bring up the dialog box asking the usual queations. I can print the document on my printer.
I have spent several sessions with the credit card company website tech support people. Per their suggestions I have uninstalled and reinstalled Reader 9, they also had me delete cookies, change popup blocker settings, add security certificates, etc.
None of that worked, and they tell me it's an Adobe problem.
Like other posters I can save this same statement using my laptop with an earlier version of Reader. In my case Reader 7.
Like Martin posted, and the credit card tech people suggested, I believe this is a Reader 9 problem.
I hope someone has a fix.

I tried to paste text from another site into my Firebox document, but it says "Firefox does not support Copy & Paste". How do I enable clipboard? I never had problems like this on Firefox before...why?

Artwork does not *automatically* copy to iPod classic

We have 3 ipods in our hosuehold, one classic photo, one 3rd generation photo, and a nano from the latest generation.
All are managed manually.
On the older 2, artwork does not automatically copy across from itunes to the ipod when songs are added. Instead, I have to select each song or album on the itunes library, manually copy the artwork, and then paste it into the iPod. while not crippling, it is certainly annoying.
The nano does not seem to have this problem.
ANybody else have this problem, and is there a way around it?
Of course I have "display artwork" enabled on all ipods, and the software is up to date, on all ipods and on the mac.

I don't manually manage, so my apologies for not being really familiar with it. But my question is, have you noticed that the addition of artwork depends on if the artwork was there from the beginning or not?
In other words, I wonder if when put in a new CD, tracklisting is looked up, you import and artwork gets automatically added. You then drag and drop those tracks to your iPods. Does the artwork show up on the iPod or do you have to do a secondary addition of the artwork?
Versus, if you already had the songs on your iPod, then LATER added artwork to the tracks in itunes, I could see where unless you resynced the songs to the manually managed iPods, that the artwork wouldn't go onto the iPod automatically and would have to be manually added.
I mention this because your Nano is the newest one and I am wondering if the issue is that you have stuff on the older iPods from back before artwork was added to your library. You are now adding artwork, but the songs on the old iPods still have older versions without artwork. The Nano, being brand new, you are probably adding tracks that have since had artwork added and so it maybe seems like it is being automatically added to that iPod and not the others when maybe you just need to re-sync the same tracks to the others?
Again, just some random streams of thought and guessing.

Hey, I was having the same problem,, i just got mine to work. Take off everything but your apps (meaning take off pictures, music, ringtones, movies, tv shows, etc just leave on the apps) Then go up to the top and go to Store and turn off Genius. Restore your iPhone (It'll ask you to back up, click yes.) Restore from back up, Let your apps come back then when those are done add each category one by one. (i.e. click Photos -> Sync Photos and let them finish, then click something else like music) Hope this helps!

SQL*Plus COPY command does not work in SQL Developer. I am using SQL Developer 1.5.1 on Windows XP.

Does it work on different versions of SQL Developer ?

While it hasn't been updated for v1.5, this page lists the supported SQL*Plus commands. COPY is explicitly listed as not supported.

Ordered Quantity does not get copied to Invoice by DIAPI

I am stuck with an issue in Invoice creation using DI API by code.The field Ordered Qty (DB Filed INV1.OrderedQty) does not gets copied to Invoice line from delivery lines. But while we add invoice from delivery >Copy To> AR Invoice , it gets copied to Invoice lines. This OrderedQty field is not exposed through DI API, so we cant set that field throgh code. What I do in Invoice creation code is as follows.

Thank you for your reply.But it didnt fix the problem.The only change of previous code with this one was oINV.Lines.Add() method is called in the last of the loop.But it wont fix issue.

I have found the issue.The issue is causing if we update the resulting invoice's expense lines.
If we copy the expense lines from delivery and update any line with an amount it works fine and resulting invoice has "Ordered Qty" in its lines. Code is

Mail search function does not work after reinstalling

I recently had to re-install Leopard on my MacBook Pro.
I made a clean install so, I manually copied the Mail folder and preferences from my old home folder to the new one.
All mails are present, and everything works great, apart from the fact that the search function does not work.
I can search for new mails (that came after the reinstall) but the old ones "dont exist" as far as the mail.app goes.
What can I do about it ?

It would probably be easier to do the entire hard drive. The App Store also uses Spotlight, so updating it will help there also. It takes some time to re-index and your computer will/may run slower until it is done.
Direct answer to your question is go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Then go to System Preferences/Spotlight per the linked article and in your user folder, select Library/Mail/V2.

My Adobe Acrobat does not always print from Illustrator. This is very time-consuming to have continuous problems that are obviously software based. I have no issues with Illustrator, but we communicate on this campus via low res PDF files as proofs for approval. Acrobat gives me no reasons why it does not want to print, it just says it can not print the file. Fonts are NOT and issue here. It will created a high res Illustrator PDF file but I can not print a low res PDF file.

This usually happens when you introduce a specific dependency like trying to resample certain placed image types and things like color profile conversions fail. Also stripping native AI data to reduce file size may cause this. Generally it is not recommended to print to PDF from apps that have native PDF saving functionality, anyway. You can just as well get the same result using AI's Save As feature.
