My Adobe Acrobat does not always print from Illustrator. This is very time-consuming to have continuous problems that are obviously software based. I have no issues with Illustrator, but we communicate on this campus via low res PDF files as proofs for approval. Acrobat gives me no reasons why it does not want to print, it just says it can not print the file. Fonts are NOT and issue here. It will created a high res Illustrator PDF file but I can not print a low res PDF file.

This usually happens when you introduce a specific dependency like trying to resample certain placed image types and things like color profile conversions fail. Also stripping native AI data to reduce file size may cause this. Generally it is not recommended to print to PDF from apps that have native PDF saving functionality, anyway. You can just as well get the same result using AI's Save As feature.

When updating manually, FF just updates to the next version, not the latest version. This is ridiculously time consuming.

I prefer to update ff manually. However, if I miss a few updates and then select update, it updates one update at a time, instead of just updating to the newest version in one clean sweep - like it should! This is crazy time-consuming and irritating. This IS NOT status quo! Firefox is a little behind the times here. I am not looking for suggestions on how i should just remove and
reinstall Firefox. That's time consuming too. I JUST WANT FIREFOX TO KNOW THAT THEY NEED TO MODERNIZE MANUAL UPDATE TO JUMP TO THE NEWEST VERSION IN ONE STEP!

It's possible that Firefox had downloaded that intermediate update automatically but not applied it for one reason or another, so rather than go to the web and check for a newer update, Firefox just used the one it already had. It's unusual to have so many point updates so frequently, so I'm not sure when it would be possible to try to observe this possibility.

Adobe reader does not always down load IRS and state tax forms.

Can I pay for the Adobe Reader service so it will always download the Fed and state tax returns in PDF format. Now, most of the time nothing happens even though I have Adobe Reader X. go on line, bring up the form and then no matter what I do nothing prints.

Adobe Reader is a free software to view, print and collaborate on PDF files.
There is no paid version of it.
Are you able to download the tax returns? If yes, are the downloaded files in PDF format?
Try to open PDF files in Adobe Reader and try to print it. What happens when you try to do it?
Also can you try to open any pdf using your Web Browser, ex- http://www.education.gov.yk.ca/pdf/pdf-test.pdf ant try printing it.

I just purchased a ThinkPad X1 carbon running on windows 8, with preinstalled Adobe Acrobat XI. When I try to launch Acrobat or to open a pdf file, nothing happens. Any idea what happens ?

Adobe pdf does not fully download from mail. Is there an adobe application that will do the job fully? The pdf is a download from an email attachment.

A friend sent a pdf to me attached to an email. I looked at it with my pc; the mac only shows a portion of the file. It is an adobe file. Is this common? Is there a fix? Is preview not capable of fully opening an adobe file? Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Adobe reader does not save print code

one of my customers uses print codes to print to the copier. His print code has been entered into his print settings but in order for the printer to accept his code he must open his print options and then close the print options (no changes need to be made). Can anyone shed some light on why this is the case?

Please let me know what version of Adobe Reader are you using.
Does it prints your pages fine apart from print code problem?
Try removing the code, close Reader and then again set the code after launching Reader.
Now check and let me know.

With the New Version of iTunes for Windows it does not allow me to ADD folders of music, just single files. as I have extremely extensive library this is very time consuming

Itunes will not allow me to Import Folder with the new version. Does anyone see what I am most obviously missing. It only allows me to add file to library and not folder. as usually add huge amounts of files at once. please advise.

"Add Folder to Library" is still in the file menu, but you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the file menu.

My iPad will not let me delete the mail as a whole, or by sliding to make the red "DELETE" icon appear. Only by individually choosing the trash folder and moving it to that folder. This is very time consuming. How do I fix this?

Actually that's not true. You click Edit and then check mark each piece of mail you want to delete then click the Delete button at the bottom. It is individual deletion, yes, but they delete in bulk when you check each one then click Delete.

Acrobat adobe pdf does not show up canon scanner using

Hi-I have just installed adobe acrobat pro 6-the problem is i want to scan in some documents and turn them into PDF's but my adobe acrobat does not realise or show that i have a scanner (canon 5000F).I have contacted canon-and they suggested i downloaded some new software for the scanner but when i try and install the new softawre it will not install and just starts up the printer utility thing at the top.They also suggested i try to uninstall the drivers for the scanner first but again when i download the uninstall utility and try to run it it does not run/set up but just starts the printer utility thing again.How can i make adobe acrobat pro 6 realise i have a scanner so as i can scan in documents to turn them into PDF's ? Any suggestions plaese

Concentrate on getting the scanner working without any Adobe software. Once you can scan to a file, any OSX program (except Adobe) that can read the file can generate PDF files via the Print command.

Mail does not (always) display sent messages w/attachments

A frustration: my Mail 8.2 (using iCloud and OS X 10.2.2) often does not display particular Sent messages -- this most often occurs when I have multiple attachments and have spent quite some time, often approaching half an hour, composing the message -- but sometimes it occurs when only a single attachment and a quick, 10 second, composition period. Recipients report receiving the emails and the attachments. The vast majority of Sent messages are properly displayed.
I have searched for the missing Sents by recipient, subject line and even text and .... they do not appear in any mailbox.
Wi-Fi connections are strong and not problematic. The issue is not particular to any one recipient. All software updates are current.
While it has been some time since I Repaired Permissions I am not detecting any other problems.
The frustration is "OMG where did that half-hour of work GO?" followed by a usually unnecessary follow-up email or call to the recipient.

Using iCloud, which is as you know IMAP. I noticed it does not occurr with pop mail servers. Thank you for looking into this.

This is quite odd. I wonder if you could try something for me on EACH computer.

At the top of the box it should say Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.

What operating system are you running? I assume they had you install the latest BIOS. True? If it were mine, I would suggest forcing it to use integrated graphics (in the BIOS) to rule out a problem with the NVidia driver.
