IMessage poor service and features from Apple !!!

Actually, i have been gone through the imessage which apple annouced that its amazing service. its Ok if any one want to send chat with his friends. but the other bad point from apple when i send to group. Really noisy so be careful before sleeping to put the iphone Silent mode . There is no Option to put the group Silent or special tone even no title for group and any pravicy option that allow you to control these group. Apple failed to appear this sevice in good and Professional way. at the end i hope apple release urgent solution adjusting the primitive mistakes.

SOLUTION! (NO NEED TO RESET YOUR IPHONE SETTING!)
I have the same issue for the last two weeks. But i have already managed to solve the issue all by myself. When i go to Settings > Cellular > below the tab "use cellular data for:", i turned off some apps which i didnt want to use with cellular data. As soon as i go back to Settings, and then i went back to Cellular, the apps which i had switched off earlier, automatically turned back on.
Here's the solution:
Either you're using wifi or cellular data, first of all you're gonna hafto turn on the cellular data use for App Store. Once you have turned it on, go to App Store application. Update ALL the apps which have new updates available. If it asks you to log in your App Store, just do so. If there's something wrong with your debit or credit card information, it will ask you to update to a different card. Just do what it asks. Put in a new credit or debit card info and fill in the forms provided. The card you're using must be usable and has usable balance in it. Let's say atleast $10 to $20. As soon as it confirms your card successfully, the app updates will start automatically. Continue to update all the apps. After all updates are finished, go back to Settings > Cellular. Try to switch on or off some apps for data use and recheck.
Try it yourself! Have a nice day and don't put a blame on Apple for this.

I just created an AIP version of Adobe 11.0.10, applied our settings with the .mst through Adobe Customization Wizard. But something is blocking it from opening the software, it just flickers the windows explorer, if I uncheck all the settings for the Online Services and Features it lets me open it but i can't skip the registration screen. Has something changed with this version of 11.0.10?

Having the same problem here. Even if not creating an AIP, and instead doing a standard install of AcroPro.msi and patching with 11.0.10's msp, it'll result in a registration loop that can't be skipped.
Applying an Adobe ID allows for getting through the screen, but obviously, in an enterprise environment, that's not ideal.
This issue was something that I experienced with 11.0.07, and it went away with 11.0.08 and 11.0.09, but seems to have returned with 11.0.10.
Previously, I was able to get around the issue by clearing out some files from the Common Files\Adobe directory, particularly Adobe PCD and SLCache, as well as including the Adobe regids stored in ProgramData,but that fix no longer works with this latest version.
If REGISTRATION_SUPPRESS is set to YES, the result is Acrobat closing and opening in a loop, since it can't get through the registration screen.
I'm currently investigating for a registry key that might possibly applied to circumvent this issue, but I haven't found one yet.
For Adobe Acrobat 8, it used to be stored in the following two places, per Prompted to register repeatedly | Acrobat 8 | Windows

Thanks for the help. Now I can feel comfortable in not having to sign up for cellular when I buy, esp. Since I'll be using my new IPad mostly at home on my Cox wi fi. From Contacts, anyway (the new version of Address Book) you can export to a .abbu file and import then into Outlook. I'm not sure about Mail as I only really use Outlook...

Is it installed on an other system? If so you can see the serial number in the About Aperture window.
If not ant you wiped your disk and Aperture is no longer installed there is no way to find the serial number apart from the hard copy you had when you bought it.
See Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers and give Apple a call. They are pretty good at working with you to try and recover the serial number.

IPhone 4S shutting down after iOS7 and support from Apple Chat

So, my iPhone is shutting down suddenly with battery at about 40% and saying that it ran out of juice, asking me to plug in the charger. When I do it, it shows 40% again. It looks like other people have similar issues with not only the 4S, but iPhone 5 as well.
I tried to contact the char support and well, read by your self below. Not only nothing was solved, but the support just hanged up the chat on me, and didn't answer my last question. That's really not what I expected from Apple. Well, that's it, no more iPhone in my household.

I understand, it may cause people to think its the software but really what happens is during a restore or update sometimes it just brings the existing issues to the surface.
As even though your battery pass, its in yellow signifying its ready to failed but it appears its already failing.
Normal battery passes, its in green.
Since you have already restored it as new. That pretty isolated the issue.
sorry, I still don't get it. In one version of the software, my battery lasted the whole day without any issues. Now, after updating, the battery shutsdown at 40%. That's software issue for me. And, more important, if I wait about 10 to 15 min and try to turn on the phone. It's back again, and last until is about 30%, than, the same issue occurs.
If iOS6 was able to handle the battery just fine. I would like to be able to install it again

In order to avoid compromising your device in anyway the software is only designed to move forward. Downgrading the iOS is a feature that Apple cannot assist with as well as recommend since it can negatively affect your device.

Now keep in mind we have hundreds of millions of iOS device out there and most of them are running iOS 7 and running it fine.

Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call? You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

Rename webgui-service and access from iview ??

Hi all,
I have a question concerning the integration of ITS in an iview. We have EP6 running with integration of some webgui-functionalities. Everything works fine so far, but we need to do some modifications and this is where some questions pop up:
1. when a backend system (ITS) is configured in the EP-system landscape the ITS-hostname and ITS-path (always "/scripts/wgate" ?) have to be defined. Where is the ITS-service (usually "webgui" defined ? I didn't finf any reference to the ITS-service in the system configuration.
Is is correct that the "guitype" and resulting from this the service "webgui" is defined in the iview creation/editing where guitype is set to "WebGui" fro ITS-backend handling ?
2. now the main question: is it possible to change/rename the ITS service ? Example: I want to use an ITS-service "ZTEST" instead of "WEBGUI".
Background is we need to run 1 ITS instance with different services (one service for each backend).
Has anyone done something similar ?

after doing some research and some "trial and error" we came to the conclusion that it is NOT possible to specify a different ITS service in the iViews.
- the iView SAP transaction is fixed to ITS service 'webgui'
- we did some tests with the URL iView and this might be a possible solution, but only as long as you only use for example one function user for the backend transaction. SSO is not possible with URL iView. And this is what we need. So we leave things alone from here...

Poor service and no solution after 4 years of trying - Northern Illawarra area of NSW

Dear all, I am a resident of Stanwell Park in NSW, having moved to the area in 2011. Despite our new home being connected to ADSL2+ under the former owner, Telstra advised that they could not connect us soon after we bought the home. This is despite Telstra agreeagreeing to connect the service prior to our purchase. Over the ;last 4 years we have had nothing but grief from Telstra. We have been to the ADSL2+ Exchange website after believing that the three providers listed could provide a solution. But alas, they all used the Telstra line and advised that the Telstra line was not serviceable due to packet loss and slow Internet speed. So our only solution - given we run a consulting business - has to been to purchase wireless broadband from Telstra at more than $400 per month (including two work mobiles). But even that hasn't worked, with Telstra taking our tower out of service frequently, including 6 days over the past fortnight. The most recent period follows difficulties experienced continuously over the past 6 months. I have lost count of the number of times we have spoken with Telstra - we have just about spoke to everybody including the condescending staff of the Customer Support Centre in the Philippines. On a number of occasions we have called to seek correction of high levels of excess data charges owing to pent up downloads arriving in a billing month after weeks of no or limited service in the prior month. What is more, we are paying normal charges for a service that is regularly unavailable - both mobile and wireless broadband. We are now in contact with the TIO who are seeing what they can do. Over the weekend, we started a Facebook page called '2508 Disconnected' and have been stunned by the response of the community. With more than 179 likes in less than 48 hours (and a post reach of more than 2000), we have learnt that this is a hot issue for many in our community. Respondents have cited problems where all communications have been poor, affecting people living in retirement homes and resulting in an unreliable mobile and Internet service in an area that is renown for bushfires!! We have all had enough and are going via the media and the politicians to see if we can actually get someone to take us seriously. After all, we are just 15kms from the southern suburbs of Sydney - not in the middle of Australia!!

No DanK. Interestingly, that was the first question we were asked almost 4 years ago. Since that time, we estimate that we have made more than 40 calls on this issue, and had three visits from technicians. We were first told (early 2011) that the problem was 'packet loss' owing to our being too far from the exchange (and that Telstra took the opportunity to use the home ownership change to remove a service account that was sub-optimal). When we replied by saying that any connection was better than none, we were then told that there were no available ports (late 2011). We let it lie at this point and went on to a much more expensive wifi solution - currently pay more than $400 per month in standard mobile and mobile broadband charges.
We then learned, quite by accident from a casual conversation with a Telstra technician, that there were actually a number of available ports. The technician was less than complimentary about Telstra service and support staff. Ww then spent the next two years - yes, that is TWO YEARS - going backwards and forwards with Telstra (and other potential providers). We have heard every excuse in the book. We have heard claims that service is available only to be told that it is not. We have read media statements that Telstra advises the problem will be rectified by the NBN roll-out in early 2015, only then to be told that no Telstra representative made any such statement to the Illawarra press.
Needless to say, Telstra's name is mud down here in the Northern Illawarra (population of more than 20,000 and over 7000 dwellings). No amount of running around donating $1000 here and there to community organisations is going to pacify the outrage. The outrage is building and we are working hard to focus it for change. So please dont be so condascending by taking me back four years with such a basic question - it is insulting to all of us here in the 2508/2515 local area who are fed up with being fed BS by Telstra.

Not sure which password you mean. This is for the admin password for the computer. Then is instruction for your Apple ID and password.

I want to buy unlock and activation from Apple officially, is it real?

As for me, I live in Russia, and want to buy this excellent device and use it in my home cellular network. As I know, some of the European operators may unlock your contract cellphone, if you pay them a termination fee. And what about Apple? Look, iPhone itself costs $400 now, plus $175 fee for AT&T (activation code), plus $500-600 for Apple (I think, it's honest price for unlock), and what we have? $1200 or so, it's a good overall price for this perfect phone (even w/out copy&paste, 3rd party apps, etc.) I'm really ready for this payment, and not only me. But it must be honest deal, as I don't want to have an iBrick with the next software update, as it happens with hacked and unlocked phones. So why not? I don't want to go by the crime way (unlock), and I want to have an iPhone in Russia with its full functionality, to call with my home SIM card, and no hacks, no mods, no tricks with hardware. So, is it real?

Apple does not offer, nor support iPhones on networks other than AT&T (US) O2 (England) and Orange (France). There is no way to get a phone for any other network from Apple.
To get a phone to work on your network, you must get a 3rd party unlocked phone which will have no support and can currently not be upgraded fully.

Cannot update iMovie and iPhoto from Apple Store using Mountain Lion

Hi,
Everytime I try and update iMovie and iPhoto from the App Store I get an "an error has occured" followed by a "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (20)." I tried to download the update from the apple website, but much to my chagrin I was told "The version of iPhoto installed on this Mac must be updated through the Mac App Store. Check the Mac App Store to see if an update is available."

I have only had one AppleID ever. I do not have any other AppleIDs. My kids have thier own... and only one each for this very reason. Pick an ID and stick with it becuase it will be with you the life of ownership of Apple products.

How do I restore email and drafts from Apple Mail in Time Machine after account was deleted.

My Apple Mail email account was deleted by a support person and I lost several hundred emails and close to 1100 drafts that I desperately need. I have been using an external drive for backing up in Time Machine.
I do not know how to get my emails and drafts out of Time Machine and onto my Apple drive.
Any help would be appreciated HUGELY!

Command-R to the rescue.
Just hold down Command-R during startup and Lion Recovery springs into action. It lets you choose from common utilities: You can run Disk Utility to check or repair your hard drive, erase your hard drive and reinstall a fresh copy of Lion, or restore your Mac from a Time Machine backup. You can even use Safari to get help from Apple Support online. And if Lion Recovery encounters problems, it will automatically connect to Apple over the Internet.
When boot into Recovery and select item 1, you will be given a choice of a point to recover from.

Group names and content from Apple Address Book not syncing to iphone

My contact from Apple Address Book Syncs, but no group names get down loaded. Clicking The "group" icon in the iphone status bar bring up an empty page from which I cannot recover back to all contacts without restarting the device. In Essence the contact app is stuck in a blank group page.

I also have this issue. My contacts sync fine from the computer to Mobileme, but the groups don't sync to the iphone. This leaves me with an empty "Groups" window as described by eltons. If I sync through itunes, with Mobileme contacts sync off on the iphone, the groups show up.
Any ideas? Is this consistent with the original post?
