General Link Views is configured using tcode 'HRBEN0041' (benefit URL). Those URL that have 'Internet Service is generally available' (double click on the entry to go to detail screen) will show up in 'General Link Views'.
PlansOfTodayViews is not configured, but data is read from ee's master data using SAP function 'hr_ben_ess_rfc_plans_of_today'

  • T-code HRBEN0005 calling different form for open enrollment

    Hi,
I have to create two different forms for different adjustment reasons for open enrollment(t-code HRBEN0005).
But in the config table T74HL we can call only one form so I am looking for an enhancement where i can  pass the form name according to the adjustment reason.
I am not able to find any such enhancement, please let me know if anyone has done this scenario.

    Hi,
As I understand, you have a custom edit form, you would like to click a button and jump to another edit form. Correct me if there is any misunderstanding.
If that is the case, you could create different view for a list edit form. Then use a button to switch among views to show different view. For more information:

  • Renaming a plan for open enrollment - plan name doesn't seem to date track

    Hi,
Has anyone ever renamed a plan. here is our situation.
for 2012 we currently have 3 medical plans to choose from, to keep it simple... plan A, plan B, Plan C. The approach we thought would be the easiest would be rename plan A to be Plan X for then 2013 open enrollment. to see Plan X for the open enrollment period (nov 1 - nov 30) we changed the plan name on Oct 31. In addition we would end the eligibility for the other two plans on 31-dec-2012.
so on Jan 1st Plan X is eligible, Plan B and Plan C are not. for the 2013 open enrollment Plan X (formally plan A) is the only plan available to select. which is what we want and open enrollment looks ok.
The issue we see is with any new hire or other life events that allows enrollment for 2012. they see plan x, plan b, and plan c as option. We still need to show Plan A, plan B, and plan C as options for the remainder of 2012.
I tried to rename the plan effective 01-jan-2013, but then the open enrollment still shows the same 2012 (plan A) during the enrollment period.
i expected the open enrollment to use the plan name that for the date tracked time 01-jan-2014, even though the enrollment period for 2013 is nov1 - nov30...
    thought any one?

  • How  to configure for open quantity

    please help
how the oder quntity will be come as deliver quanity and delivery quntity ll be come as open quantity
for this reason my delivery is splited in to 2delivery each time and
the schedules are coming auto matically
see the notes regarding open quntity in delivery
Quantity to be delivered in sales units
The quantity of the item that remains open for delivery. The open quantity includes the delivery quantity in the delivery that you are currently processing. The quantity is expressed in sales units.
    Use
The system calculates the open quantity by taking the original delivery quantity and subtracting the quantities from any deliveries that also refer to the item. If you create more than one delivery for an item, the system adjusts the open quantity in existing deliveries every time a new delivery takes place.
    Example
You create a sales order item for 100 pieces. During delivery processing, you create three separate deliveries that refer to this order item.
    1. Delivery #1 has a delivery quantity of 40. The open quantity is 100 pieces (the quantity still to be delivered, including the 40 pieces you already entered for this delivery item).
    2. Delivery #2 has a delivery quantity of 50. The open quantity is 60 (the original delivery quantity of 100, minus 40 from the first delivery, but including the 50 you are currently processing). In the first delivery, the system adjusts the open quantity from 100 to 50, to account for the delivery quantity in the second delivery.
    3. Delivery #3 has a delivery quantity of 10, to complete the original delivery quantity of 100. In the third delivery, the open quantity stands at 10 and the system adjusts the open quantities in the first and second deliveries to 40 and 50 respectively.
so all the problem due to this open quantity
so please tell me how the open qunatity will be same as the delivery quanity
    or ordered quntity
    regards
    subrat

    Hi Surbat,
First we would like to know why you want the open quantity same as delivery quantity or Sales order quantity?

  • ESS Webdynpro u0096 Benefits u0096 Open Enrollment

We currently have the ITS application for benefits open enrollment (PZ14) up and running. We are trying to setup the Webdynpro service for Open Enrollment.
We are on ECC 6.0, EP 7.0 latest SPs and we are using XSS 600 webdynpro Software Components.
    Problem:
When we click on Open Enrollment service (Webdynpro), the following message comes up:
“No plan selections could be prepared for the specified enrollment reason. Contact your Benefits Administrator for assistance”.
The same service works fine with the ITS service for the same PERNR. The ITS service is able to show up the Open Enrollment without any problem.
Even if I include an entry in Infotype 0378 – Adjustment Reasons, the new enrollment reason can be seen under the ITS Service but not under the webdynpro service.
Is there any additional customization (configuration) required for the Webdynpro Service for Open Enrollment.
    thanks,

Experiencing the same issue.  Did someone find a solution to this?
    Thanks!

  • Control ESS Open Enrollment to use adjustment reason instead of open offer

    Hi :
We would like to control open benefit enrollment with adjustment reason instead of standard open offer. Plans are configured for adjustment reason 'OPEN', IT0378 created for the ee with this reason, and open enrollment period is configured . I use
    'EMPLOYEE_OPEN_ENROLLMENT_SERVICE05' as my resource.
However, it keeps bringing up plans from standard open offer as versus to plan configured for adjustment reason 'OPEN'. Debugging through, I could see that it passes enrollment type 'O' (for open) instead of 'E' (for event) in 'SELECTED_ENROLL_REASON' to function 'HR_BEN_ESS_RFC_INIT_SELECTION' which in turn would cause it to select plans from standard open period instead of plans configured for 'OPEN' adjustment reason.
What could I do to force ESS to use 'E' instead of 'O' ? I try to avoid having to create an enhancement point for the above fucntion to alter the field.
    Thanks.

  • No Plans selected during Open Enrollment in SAP ESS

    Hi Gurus,
We finally configured the Open Enrollment link in the portal (ECC 5.0) but now when we click on the link what appears is this
"No plan selections could be prepared for the specified enrollment reason. Contact your Benefits Administrator for assistance."
I have configured the benefits adjustment reason and put in all the available plans in the reason for us to test. Any suggestions as to why we arent able to see any plans?
    Thanks
    Kavita

This is pretty old but still for the people who will be visiting to this thread just like I did.
We had a same issue... I have checked Web Dynpro java application for benefits enrollment and it shows this message when it has ZERO plans to show in open enrollment.
Then I did debugging in ECC Function modules and found why it is not sending any benefit plans even though user has them in Info type 168 (insurance plans).
It could be any reason for plans not to populate, our reason was user have Vol Spouse Life insurance and Voluntary Child Life Insurance but they dont have Spouse and/or Child records in Info type 21.
So, this error will show up when there are ZERO plans / records to show in portal. Find your issue why by debugging.

  • Issue with Open Enrolment Link in ESS - Benefits

    Hi Experts,
We are facing two issues with open Enrolment Link in ESS for benefits, Need your help in resolving this. Please find the details below :
    1.       Benefits cost is not appearing in open enrolment Screen
Details : Monthly Contribution cost is not appearing against the Benefits Plan for which employees are already enrolled in Open Enrolment Screen, Because of this employees are not able see previous contribution before deciding on contribution amount for next Financial Year.
    2.       URL for Benefits plan Gets disappeared in Open enrolment Screen
Details : When Contribution is removed for any Benefits Plan the corresponding URL link disappears, But this comes up when the page is refreshed.
Could you please let us know if this is related to missing configuration or Java webdynpro code.
Our Live system is ECC6.0 SP level A4 , Please let me know if you need more details.Looking forward for your response.
    Regards,
    Shilpa

In regards to your first question, it could be a date issue for the infotype record.  If the records for open enrollment are set to be effective for a future date, and the current record is delimited, then you won't see it in the open enrollment screen. This is true for benefits like a flex account because they have to be re-elected every plan year.
Let's say that any elections made in the current open enrollment period you are in take effect June 1, 2014.  If the current record has an end date before June 1, then in the enrollment screen the employee will not see the current record because SAP is looking at June 1.
Take a look at the employee's record and at the benefit you want them to see and see what the end date is for the most recent record.

  • How do I restrict certain plans from appearing during Open Enrollment?

We have 15 benefit plans for which all employees are eligible.  We do not want to change the groupings or settings for our Open Enrollment period but would like to restrict the plans that appear for Open Enrollment so that only 12 out of the 15 plans are displayed and available to employees in ESS.  Can this be done?  I know I can restrict which plans are available when using IT0378 Adjustment Reasons but cannot find a way to restrict the list for Open Enrollment.  Thanks for any suggestions.

I had that exact same delima, but one of our consultants pointed us to the transaction: HRBEN00ADJRSN
This is a mass load of adjustment reasons.  You just need to feed the program the total time allowed for adjustments and things like start of records date and end of records date.  Because of the dates and the potential for different plans to have different dates, we actually have two open enrollment adjustment reasons.  We have one for Flexible spending where I give the 1/1 begin date and a 12/31 end date since it is only effective for the year in question.  Then we have our main open enrollment for all other plans where the begin date is 1/1 of the new year and 12/31/9999 for the endda.  I then run the HRBEN00ADJRSN twice for the population:  once for the flex enrollment, and then again for the main open enrollment adjustment reason.
