Import Declaration wrt to Returns Delivery ( Customer Returns)

Hello,
I need some help with regard to Import declaration in case of ‘Returns delivery’
Business wants to create Import declaration before GR (US as receiving country). I tried with different document type assignment both in ECC and GTS but not able to see the Returns Delivery (LR) in work list. Even I tried assigning previous document type and number at Returns delivery header but still not able to create import declaration.
Any help/suggestion will be appreciated on this.
GTS Version: 10.1
Regards/Pradeep

We also tried unsucessfully to apply this flow.
This limitation is confirmed by SAP KB 2064103 - KBA: Import declaration before GR for Return Delivery.
New idea published, please support it if you consider it relevant:

In addition, as the settings for creating an import declaration after GR are in my opinion not clearly described, I have requested the creation of a dedicated KB article through idea:

    Dear Experts,
As part of creating Customs Import Declaration manually, when I selected the FTO and try to use create button I am getting error message .
Can you please help me in this regard .
No active legal regulations found for country US

    Hi Ram,
As the error message straight away tells , you need to activate Legal Regulation for Customs Management ( in standard case, it will be ACE) for US country through the below path:
SPRO-->SAP Global Trade Services-->Customs Management-->Activate Leagl Regulation for Customs Management at Country/Country Group level
In case of any further queries, please let me know it.

    Back up all data.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with proxy servers, or with networks that require a certificate for authentication.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, follow the prompts to reinstall the OS. You don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.

  • Importing Metadata from wsdl returns errors - (BODI-1112015)

I  am using DI 12.1 and am trying to create a web service data store.  I tried using both the native web service datastore type and the adapter for web services. Neither worked but I seemed to get further using the adapter.  When using the adapter I can see each of the operations in the service, but when I try to import the metadata for the operations I get an error BODI-1112015 with a message that the namespace is referenced without <import> declaration.  The wsdl does have an import reference corresponding to the schema so I do not understand the issue.  The referenced schema does import other schemas (could that cause problems?).
    Thanks,
    Paul

I will have to look at the WSDL to see why the import is failing. is this a Public WSDL ? if yes, can you give the URL
have you tried using the WSDL using some other tools like SoapUI ?

  • Trigger of Import Declaration (Work List) for SO based inbound flows in ECC

    Hello Experts,
I am running a feasability study for GTS Customs managment Import. My client is using SO based flows for the return flows (SO-Delivery-Mtrl Document). In order to use local clearance (to avoid VAT and Customs Fee) we need to set this flow up in SAP and enable the doucment transfer from ECC to GTS.
We have come up with a few high level alternatives for the trigger for the GTS Import Declaration. It would be great if you could have a look on them and let us know your thoughts. What is feasible and what is not? Any recommendations?
Alt 1: Create Z program for the RFC call to GTS which basically is a copy of the standard program but it modifies the SO to be perceived as an PO in GTS and the Delivery to be perceived as an Inbound Delivery.
Alt 2: Use the SPL check which is set up in GTS Compliance management. Might be an alternative since the SO and Delivery is transferred to GTS for the SPL check. We should be able to find some user exit or BADI in the SPL check from where we can trigger det SO and Delivery to the Work List in GTS Customs Management.
Alt 3: Integrate the feeder system with GTS as an external system. This will require that we have IDoc outputs from the SO and Delivery on the feeder side and that we activate BAdI for Mapping External Data with or w/o Document Reference in GTS.
Alt 4: Treat the SO import flow as an Export flow in GTS (triggering it through a proforma document on the feeder side) but configure the activity sequence according to the Customs Authorities import specification.
Another question that we have is relating to GTS Inventory Management which we must use in order to use local clearance procedure. Is it possible to set up GTS inventory management without a Customs Warehouse and without configuring the Customs ID on the feeder side? Could it be used with the any of the alternatives above?
    Any input is welcomed.
    Thank you and best regards
    Andreas

You mentioned that you are looking  to use local clearance (to avoid VAT and Customs Fee), I read this as using the customs warehouse functionality in GTS.
If you have the customs warehouse set up, you may want to check out the returns order movement type (651)  This is what the GTS library says: u201CThe system treats returns orders with returns deliveries (651) in the feeder system just like a receipt posting from a regular goods movement, because you post goods receipts in the feeder system by choosing a goods issue based on an outbound delivery. The customs warehouse handles these postings just like goods receipts, however, and therefore analogous to regular goods movements for customs warehouse receipts, with movement type 101.u201D
So if you have a goods receipt, you can create a entry into the customs warehouse. To get it out, youu2019d need some type of outbound movement. GTS would see this as an issue (reduction) of the customs warehouse. This outbound does not necessarily need a connection with a specific PO.
Also, for customs warehouse, this outbound movement, if it is customs cleared in the country where the customs warehouse is located is a u201Cdomestic movementu201D.
If a material is flagged as batch relevant, you can add a batch reference at the time of PO, or inbound delivery.  For sales, you can add at time of SO or goods issue.
This batch number serves as a link for the transaction data.  This number allows you to track the materials in a transaction through the purchas/mfg/sale process.  Attached to the number can be a great deal of info on the material in the transaction. Through the batch reporting, you can track forwards or backwards all the follow-on transactions associated with the batch.

  • How to create Import Declaration (Inward Processing) in SAP GTS

How to create Import declaration in SAP GTS system for transaction based on Sales Order and Return Delivery documents in ECC6 feeder system. The scenario is described as below:
    In backend (feeder) system ECC6:
    1. Sales Order SD Document Category = u2018C u2013 Orderu2019 will be used.
    2. A Return Delivery Document similar to LR will be used (Document category u2018T u2013 Returns Delivery) to take back the material.
Import Declaration functionality system requirement is as below:
    1. It should be possible to send out Pre-notification to Customs when the goods are picked up from the customer site (based on the order cerated).
    2. When the return material is received (on Goods Receipt against the Return Delivery) final Import Declaration to be submitted to the customs authorities.
    3. It should be possible to track (tag) if any replacement material is sent back to the customer. Meaning the Import of a return material should be tagged with corresponding export (replacement material sent to the customer) transaction.
My understanding is that the Import Declaration functionality in SAP GTS is based on Purchase Order and Shipping Notification. I would like to know how the above scenario (Sales document based) can be best supported for Import Declaration via SAP GTS system.
    Thansk in advance for suggestions/ideas.
    BR/Arup

    Hello Arup,
In GTS 8.0, the Returns Delivery can act just like an Inbound Delivery in GTS.  Of course you need to populate the "Preliminary Document" type and number in the FT header.
The Delivery creates a Customs Shipment in GTS.  You could configure message processing to send data from the Customs Shipment to the Customs system for pre-alert, providing that only header data is required at that stage.
The subsequent Goods Receipt appears in the normal work-list for Declaration after GR, provided you close the "safekeeping" using Transit processing or the BAdI provided for that purpose.
The GTS Inward Processing solution does not currently support a single Product being both a component and a compensating product, so your wish to tie up re-exports with the customer returns may be quite difficult.
    I hope that helps.
    Best regards,
    Dave

  • Import Declaration after goods receipt - Inward Processing Help

Looking for some advice on setting up Inward Processing as I am running into issues.  Our system makeup is this:
    ECC - 617
    GTS - 10.1
One of our facilities is setup so that they have duty deferment for imported components that are used in manufacturing and re-exported within a 36 month period. Based on this requirement we have determined that we could be leveraging the Inward Processing functionality in GTS to manage / track the inventory for duty purposes.  With that being said, this is what I have configured so far.
    Configuration:
Purchase document in ECC is setup to transfer to GTS and create an import customs document, the check box for Customs Services is checked.  The corresponding purchasing document in GTS is activated for compliance and customs services.
Inbound delivery in ECC is setup to transfer to GTS.  I am worried I have done something wrong in this configuration with how it maps in GTS. The document is currently creating a customs document that can be viewed in the import side of compliance.  The document type I mapped in GTS “Inbound Customs Delivery”
Movement type 101B has been configured to come over from ECC to GTS.
I configured in ECC the prelim. Document type T1 and also maintained that doc type in GTS which I mapped as prev. doc cat 01.  I then assigned Service LECTPR with prelim doc type category 01 as duty unpaid and target procedure 01 – Transit.
I configured the authorization for both transit and inward processing, created the “license” for these items, and configured the activity sequence for the matching legal regulation.
    My process has been this:
    Create purchase order in ECC
    Create inbound delivery in ECC
Update inbound delivery with the prelim doc type T1 and doc number / date
MIGO with reference to the inbound delivery (movement type 101 against purchase order stored in MSEG)
In GTS I go to create a customs declaration AFTER goods receipt, but I get a “no data found” information message.  When I debug I can see the that a check is done to pull records from table /sapsll/cuswlo, I have no entries in this table.
I can see all the documents definitely made it over to GTS because they show up in the General List of Display Customs Declaration Quantities and Goods Receipt quantities (/SAPSLL/CUSWLM).  So at this point I have to be missing some key piece of configuration to allow the Import Declaration to create so the goods become available for inward processing. Any ideas on what I should be looking at that could be missing?
    Rachael

Ok, then that's (at least) what you need to fix.
In the Plug-In area, make sure that you've added your Inbound Delivery type to transfer for Customs purposes ("Query Customs Management for Document Type"), and that the technical activation has been turned on for Application MM0B.  For the moment - although it shouldn't make any difference - don't tick to transfer the Inbound Delivery for Compliance Management, or for Placement into Customs Status before GR.
In GTS, make sure that Document Type 'TRLOIM' is active for Transit, and that the Document Type has an active Number Range.  Then check that the Legal Regulation for Transit (TRSxx) is active for your country code and that the Process Template is assigned in the Control Settings.
Then see if the IBD is transferred ok.

    Dave

  • Delivery Customizing copy to client 100

    Hello,
I have included a add-on SCEMSRV 700 with SP 06 to my Ehp4 ERP system in client 000. As post installation step mentioned in S.note:1173567,Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may have to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.
I checked Note 337623 still could not make out what needs to be done for copying this changes in client 000 to client 100(our cutomizing client). We have client 200 and 210 too in this DEV system. Request for valuable suggestion on my next action. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
After you've installed SEM add-on in client 000 - it is available 'cross-client' in your system.
    E.g.:
You have 3 standard clients (000, 001, 066) and client 100 (a copy from 000). You install add-on (any) it's standard delivery is immediately available in your system. The only thing you'd probably do (concerning BW) is maintain 'client' value in table RSADMINA:
ta 'SE16' --> table 'RSADMINA' --> field 'BWMANDT' (Unique client in BW).

    P.S.

  • Updating import declarations with duty types and message types

    Hi All,
I am a GTS developer. There are configuration changes in the system . As a result, the import declarations and presentation documents created in 2014  and 2013 have to be updated with :
1.)  Replace old duty types with new ones in the logistic costs tab.
2.)  Replace old message types with new ones in the communication tab.
Any pointers on how to go about , regarding the table links between the duty types and declarations, message types and declarations , Function modules would be very helpful.  Thanks much in advance.
    Best Regards
    Shankarnarayan.K.

    Hi SK,
That's a strange request.  Of course the configuration changes invalidate the old Declarations, but your attempt to re-write history isn't likely to achieve much.
Since the messaging cannot be repeated, it makes no sense to update the documents.  And similarly, since the Declarations cannot be re-sent, updating the Duty Types will have no effect.
But if you must do it, here are some tips:
For the duty calculation, you need to update entries in table /SAPSLL/LEGCULC.  Assuming the the Duty Types haven't been re-named, you should loop through the entries and use MOVE-CORRESPONDING to copy the values from the configuration tables /SAPSLL/TLC_ASC (key = LAUNR) and /SAPSLL/TLC_AAR (key = TLC_AAR, matching /SAPSLL/LEGCULC-TLC_AART).  First check that all relevant fields have the same name, considering the Data Elements involved.
For the messages, you need to update entries in table /SAPSLL/LEGMES.  However, I have no idea which fields your esteemed Application Consultant might have changed there, so can't immediately advise what should be copied.
In both cases, the link to the Customs Declarations is that GUID_MOBJ = /SAPSLL/CUHD-GUID_CUHD, and MOBJT = 'O' (that's the letter, not number zero).
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Dave

  • Unable to create Import Declaration Prior to GR in GTS 10.1

    Hello Experts need your help
Unable to create Import Declaration Prior to GR in GTS 10.1
All Plug-In settings are in place
All configurations in GTS are in place
Till yesterday I was facing the issue of IBD not getting transferred to GTS. I was getting a message RFC Error (Could not determine e-manual) wile trying to manually transfer the IBD
Came to know that SAP Note 2037230 was required. After applying this note (which is coming with patch 13-we were running on patch 12) I am able to transfer IBDs to GTS
But now neither PO nor IBD is found in the worklists and I am unable to create a declaration prior to GR.
I see that in table /SAPSLL/CUHD the field CDCUS is blank. I understand this should be populated with value 'X". Not sure why this is blank
Appreciate help from anyone who know about this issue.
    Thanks
    Keshav Murthy

    Hi Dave
Thank yo for your immediate response. yes I do see an entry in the table. Still I do not see the PO in worklist and not able to create the declaration. I am getting a message data not found. That is why I was thinking if it is due to missing entry 'x' in the field CDCUS  in CUHD table. What could be the possible reasons for that entry to be missing?
Also do you think there could be any problem with the PO itself? I have checked the PO. Vendor is from GB. Receiving plant is US. Appreciate your expert adicvse.
    Thanks again

  • Import declaration for customer returns

Hi! Does anybody know how to create import customs declaration for customer returns (return sales order --> return delivery --> GI for returns) in GTS? Standard GTS can handle only the PO --> inbound delivery --> GR process, as if this would be the ONLY import process. BR Martin

    Hi Martin,
The System is smart enough to recognize if a document is inbound or not. Just set it as Relevant for transfer to GTS (in the ERP Plugin)  and in GTS map the document type to an Inbound document type (SAP Global Trade Services / SAP Customs Management / General Settings / Document Structure / Assignment of Document Types from Feeder Systems / Assign Document Type at Feeder System Level (or Assign Document Type at Feeder System Group Level) and map it to CULOIM) and it should do the trick.
If it does not work send me the error messge from transaction SLG1.

  • Credit Memo wrt to Return Delivery

    Dear Experts,
The  requirement is like that we need to create credit memo wrt return delivery only. The process flow is
    Billing Doc-----Return Order---Return Delivery--
    Credit Memo.
To meet the requirement i set copying control in VTFL for Return Item Category.
Header level----- Copying requirements is 003
Item Level------ Copying Requirements is 004
                         Data VBRK/VBRP is  007

                         Pos/Negative is +
                         Pricing Type is D
Now when i try to create credit memo in VF01 the system is unable to perform . In VL02N the Return Delivery Status is showing Completed .
Can anyone suggest  what additional settings required to perform the task?
    Regards
    Jyoti

    Hi Jyoti,
As per my knowledge, every thing is set perfect but i think you might have missed few configurations that are specified below.
Goto VOV8.Select your return order type.
    Details.
    Goto Billing tab.
Maintain the Del.rel.billing type. and then save.
    Goto VOV7.Select your item category.
Maintain the completion rule as "B" or "C".
    Billing relavance as "A".
    Save.
Mainly check whether there is any billing block set here at the order level.Remove the billing block using VA02 T.Code and save the order.
Try now.Let we know what is the message you are getting now when you try to do billing.
