Import development package

Hi,
I created a development package on DEV to save my development work. When I created the package, it asked for a transport request. I saved it to a transport request. Would I have to import this transport request to QAS before I transport other development work?

The syntax of the created SDA may be wrong
Check the main attributes defined in SAP_MANIFEST.MF are equal or not to their corresponding componentelement entry.
SAP_MANIFEST.MF file is located in META-INF subfolder in the .sda file.
The values of "keycounter" and "counter" should be the same. Also the values of "keyname" and "name" should be identical.

Import JWeb packages to JDeveloper

Is there any way to import JWeb packages to a JDeveloper project, such as

while there is no OAS installed on the same machine? The JDeveloper doesn't seem to include these oracle packages.

No, and the docs say that you need to has OAS installed on the same machine to develop these sort of applications.
You can copy the jar files from the OAS machine into the project classpath for the JDeveloper and then simply use the import command to reference them. This should get you a clean compile, but you will not be able to debug or run it unless OAS is on the same machine.

Development Package migration

Hi,
I know I've two many threads for today. But, it's really urgent.
I have a question.
We've made a development package on the ABAP Workbench under the SAP R/3.
Then later we installed a new ERP ECC 6.0 system.
Unfortunately, when we migrated the hole package to the new system. It says that our package it's no originally made in this system and we could only update the package with some strange funktions like update and delete and whatever.
My question would it be, what should I do to make the package seems like it has been done on the new system?
-> The only solution that I could find that I must do it manually and this's gone take ages.
Unfortunately, I must do it manually because we have a namespace now and everything should contain the namespace. It's the worstest thing that I had ever expected.
How could SAP didn't think about that or am I really underqualified, considere that I'm only a student and am writing too much because it made me out of me when I lose too many time doing nothing.
I really excuse my bad english but when someone speak over four languages, he lose(the reality) the simple things that everyone knows i.e. orthographe and syntax.

Importing example package Z_ABAP_BOOK into an installed AS ABAP

At point 6 from readme.txt ...
1. Copy the cofile "K900035.NSP" to directory "\sap\trans\cofiles".
2. Copy the datafile "R900035.NSP" to directory "\sap\trans\data".
3. Logon to the AS ABAP.
4. Call transaction "STMS".
5. Choose "Import Overview".
6. Double-click line "NSP".

Import Solution Package (WSP) 2013 using VS 2012

Anyone working/worked on SharePoint 2013 solution using VS 2012?
I am trying to Import Solution Package (WSP) using VS 2012, but VS 2012 doesn't allow to import the solution. It throws an error with message saying that SharePoint Foundation/Server 2013 need to be installed on local system.
I have also installed MS Office Developer tool for VS 2012, but VS still throws an error while Importing Solution Package.
Please suggest steps to import WSP in VS 2012..

Is there any way to import business packages into the Websphere portal. We are looking to display E Recruitment applications in Websphere Portal.Please let me know the procedure.

If it is OK to open the e-recruitment app into a new window from Websphere portal, simply link to it and host it in SAP Portal.
If you can work out the single sign on, perhaps Websphere portal would let you use a portlet like an iframe that lets you display the SAP functionality hosted in SAP Portal. That way it looks like one interface to the end user but back end is hosted separately.
The most streamlined but also more work, would probably be to have a SOA aware Websphere developer create the front end in IBM that references SAP's remote enabled functions.
I'm not aware of any automatic way to simply import / host the SAP business packages inside Websphere, if that is what you are asking.

Do following
launch SE10 -> create -> transport of copies -> give short description
and target system within your TMS landscape -> this will create a request -> double click on request -> click on change
now enter following value
Program ID -> R3TR
Object Type -> DEVC
Object name -> name of your Z package
press enter
click Release
import this request in target system.

I am receiving this message and the images will not open.....'Could not open scratch file because the file is locked, or you do not have necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file. How do I fix this? I would greatly appreciate it if you would respond with terms and procedures that a computer ignorant user, such as me, will understand. Thanks.

Divyanshu - sorry to ask but can you explain why i need to update r3load and r3trans to resolve this error? Just want to understand why I'm doing a correction so I can learn from the same.
Also, can you clarify the file update process:
For R3load:
a) the r3load used by the command is dated 8/16/2011 (location:C:\usr\sap\AVV\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\...)
b) the r3load i have in my db folder is dated 10/23/2011 (location:C:\Final\Installer\BS7i2011_Installation_Master_\DATA_UNITS\BS2011_IM_WINDOWS_X86_64\ORA\UC\...)

The system has found a number of open data extraction requests.These should be processed before starting the object import process, as changes to DDIC structures could prevent data extraction requests from being read after the import, thus causing them to terminate. Call the Customizing Cockpit data extraction transaction and process all open extraction requests.
Can Anybody aware of this error. How do I delete the open data extraction process specified here.
