Import from version 2.1 into 6i

I exported the application system in version 2.1. Now I want to import the system into 6i repository. I have this error messages:
IMP-00033: Warning: Table "XTSYS_EXPORT_OBJECTS" not found in export file
IMP-00033: Warning: Table "XTSYS_IMPORT_IRID_MAPPING" not found in export file
IMP-00033: Warning: Table "XTSYS_IMPORT_IVID_MAPPING" not found in export file
IMP-00033: Warning: Table "XTSYS_TABS_EXPORTED" not found in export file
IMP-00033: Warning: Table "XTSYS_RM$REPOSITORIES" not found in export file.
The import fails at this time.
Anybody can shed some light on the problem?
Thanks
Anatoliy Smirnov

How did you solve this problem?
Was it because of missing upgrade and migration, or did you find another way to import old versions??

    How can I keep tabs on the file size when importing from the Event Library into a Project? I want to ensure the movie will fit onto a 4.7Gb disc?

    iDVD does not care about file sizes, as it compresses the file to the standard DVD format of mpeg2.
    It only cares about length i.e. max 2 hours including titles etc.
    iDVD encoding settings:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/11417.html
    Short version:
    Best Performance is for videos of up to 60 minutes
    Best Quality is for videos of up to 120 minutes
    Professional Quality is also for up to 120 minutes but even higher quality (and takes much longer)
    Professional Quality: The Professional Quality option uses advanced technology to encode your video, resulting in the best quality of video possible on your burned DVD. You can select this option regardless of your project’s duration (up to 2 hours of video for a single-layer disc and 4 hours for a double-layer disc). Because Professional Quality encoding is time-consuming (requiring about twice as much time to encode a project as the High Quality option, for example) choose it only if you are not concerned abo
    In both cases the maximum length includes titles, transitions and effects etc. Allow about 15 minutes for these.
    You can use the amount of video in your project as a rough determination of which method to choose. If your project has an hour or less of video (for a single-layer disc), choose Best Performance. If it has between 1 and 2 hours of video (for a single-layer disc), choose High Quality. If you want the best possible encoding quality for projects that are up to 2 hours (for a single-layer disc), choose Professional Quality. This option takes about twice as long as the High Quality option, so select it only if time is not an issue for you.
    Use the Capacity meter in the Project Info window (choose Project > Project Info) to determine how many minutes of video your project contains.
    NOTE: With the Best Performance setting, you can turn background encoding off by choosing Advanced > “Encode in Background.” The checkmark is removed to show it’s no longer selected. Turning off background encoding can help performance if your system seems sluggish.
    And whilst checking these settings in iDVD Preferences, make sure that the settings for NTSC/PAL and DV/DV Widescreen are also what you want.

    when i import from my video camera into imovie the clips look tall and thin. tried different imports like full size or large have imported both sd and hd but seem to make no difference everything seems to run ok including sound. whats going on?

    Hi Brad,
    when you use Streamclip to convert media, use the same name for the exported file (only with different extension). Then make a shell script calling
    touch -r origFileName.mp2 newFileName.mov
    This will copy the exact time and date from origFileName.mp2 to newFileName.mov
    The script may look like this (save the file, give an exec permission to it and call it in the right directory):
    #!/bin/bash
    for i in `ls *.mp2`; do
    NEWNAME=$(ls "$i" | sed -e 's/mp2/mov/')
    touch -r $i $NEWNAME
    done
    You may need to adapt the extension names used (in the example above .mp2 is input file to get the date/time stamp from and .mov is the output file to stamp.
    Have fun and cheers

  • HOw can I get my address book, in Lion, to import from version 5.0.3?

    I am trying to import my address book from version 5.0.3 to my new Lion, via flash drive.  Lion won't open the file.  How do I upgrade it?

    This would do the trick, thanks.  However, I solved it by making sure that the MacBook that the Address Book was on had Lion, too.  Then, I exported the entries to the Flash Drive and it worked perfectly, seamlessly.  The Lion didn't cost me because I had a few extra installs to use.

  • Import From iPhone 3GS Directly Into iMovie '09?

    I don't think this is possible. Can you import from your iPhone 3GS directly into iMovie '09?
    With my iPhone 3GS docked, if I go to File > Import from Camera… the only device I get is my iMac's iSight camera. Why doesn't the iPhone 3GS show up?
    Yes, I know you can import videos into the Finder using Image Capture. And you can import them into iPhoto and THEN into iMovie. But how come you can't go directly from your iPhone 3GS into iMovie '09?

    You right about the iPhone 3Gs work-flow:
    _ Connect your iPhone 3Gs to your Mac
    _ Launch iPhoto
    _ Import the iPhone 3Gs videos using iPhoto
    _ Launch iMovie
    _ iMovie automatically detects the videos from iPhoto & requests if you want to Generate Thumbnails
    _ Then go to the iMovie > Event Library > iPhoto Videos

  • Arbitrary data param not importing from Premiere Pro project into After Effects.

    Hi,
    I have an AE SDK plugin effect that works in Premiere Pro and After Effects... the effect has a bunch of standard parameters and one Arbitrary Data parameter.
    I believe that the Arbitrary data parameter is implemented correctly, and I have implemented all of the cases for PF_Cmd_ARBITRARY_CALLBACK...
    PF_Arbitrary_NEW_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_DISPOSE_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_COPY_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_FLAT_SIZE_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_FLAT_SIZE_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_FLATTEN_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_UNFLATTEN_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_INTERP_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_COMPARE_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_PRINT_SIZE_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_PRINT_FUNC
    PF_Arbitrary_SCAN_FUNC
    The only issue I have found, is that when importing a Premiere Pro project into After Effects with the "Import -> Adobe Premiere Pro Project" option, the value in the Arbitrary Data
    parameter is always the default. There is no problem saving or re-opening projects within AE or PP... and there are no problems with cutting and pasting instances of the effect.
    Importing a Premiere Pro project into After Effects using the Dynamic Link works correctly... the Arbitrary data is imported.
    Thanks.

    Some kind of answer would be awesome... there are Adobe staff members on here right?

  • Import from DVDxDV created file into imovie HD with scene breaks

    I purchased the DVDxDV program and it is working fine importing files from my Sony mini-dvd handycam. When I import the movie file created by DVDxDV into imovie 08, the program seems to automatically create scene breaks (which I want it to do!) However, I would really prefer to use imovie. When I import the DVDxDV created movie file into imovie HD, it comes in as one big video file. I need many, little clips out of this one big file. Is there a way to either import it through DVDxDV with the original scene breaks? Or can I configure imovie HD to behave like imovie 08 and break this big file up? Any help is really appreciated.

    My guess is you'll see the same artifacts using other applications. I do recommend, however, MPEG Streamclip and Miraizon's Cinematize. Those let you select the portions of a video you want to convert so you save a lot of time and hard drive space.
    Also, recent versions of Toast (I don't know if this is true for Toast 7) can export individual chapters from a video DVD or VIDEO_TS folder as separate files. This is done via the Toast Media Browser. Put the VIDEO_TS folder on the desktop or insert the DVD, choose DVD with the top button of the Media Browser. When the item appears in the browser window use the button beneath "DVD" to access the chapter level. Select the chapters you want and drag them to the Video window with DVD video selected as the format. After Toast extracts the split MPEG files you can select them and export them to other formats. It's possible, though, that Toast 7 doesn't have the ability to access the chapter levels.

  • Can't import from Canon Optura 10 into iMovie

    I just bought a MacBook Pro 15 inch specifically for making/editing movies. I connected a 9pin-4pin DV Firewire Cable to my Canon Optura 10 (set in Play/VCR mode). The other end of the cable was connected to the Firewire port on the MacBook Pro. I opened up iMovie. Nothing pops out. I tried importing but only the MacBook Pro's built-in camera pops out.
    The DV Firewire Cable I'm using is one year old. I never used it until now. Since I bought it (1 year ago), it's been stored safely in its package. It has a lifetime warranty.
    Can someone please suggest or help me? Thanks. I am very disappointed right now because I bought this MacBook Pro for only one reason --- to edit my movies --- and that doesn't seem to work so far.

    Hi
    May be You find help in my list.
    *NO CAMERA or A/D-box*
    Cable
    • Sure that You use the FireWire - USB will not work for miniDV tape Cameras
    FireWire - Sure not using the accompany USB-Cable but bought a 4-pin to 6-pin FW one ?
    • Test another FW-Cable very often the problem maker.
    Camera
    • Test Your Camera on another Mac so that DV-in still works OK
    • Toogle in iMovie pref. Play-back via Camera (on<->off some times)
    • Some Cameras has a Menu where You must select DV-out to get it to work
    • Camera connected to "charger" (mains adaptor) - not just on battery
    Does Your Camera work on another Mac ?
    Sorry to say it is to easy to turn the 6-pin end of the FW-cable 180 deg wrong.
    This is lethal to the A/D-chip in the Camera = needs an expensive repair.
    (Hard to find out - else than import/export to another Mac ceased to work
    everything else is OK eg recording and playback to TV)
    Connections
    • Daisy Chaining most often doesn’t work (some unique cases - it’s the only way that work (some Canon Cameras ?))
    Try to avoid connecting Camera <--> external HD <--> Mac but import directly to the Mac then move
    the Movie project to dedicated external hard disk.
    Mac
    • Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk ? Please specify the amount of free space.
    (Other hard disks don't count)
    I go for a minmum of 25Gb free space for 4x3 SD Video - and my guess is 5 times more for 16x9 HD ones
    after material is imported and edited.
    SoftWare
    • Delete iMovie pref file may help sometimes. I rather start a new account, log into this and have a re-try.
    • Any strange Plug-ins into QuickTime as Perian etc ? Remove and try again.
    • FileVault is off ? (hopefully)
    Using WHAT versions ? .
    • Mac OS - X.5.4 ?
    • QuickTime version ? (This is the heart in both iMovie and FinalCut)
    • iMovie 8 (7.1.?) ?
    • iMovie HD 6 (6.0.4/3) ?
    *Other ways to import Your miniDV tape*
    • Use another Camera. There where tape play-back stations from SONY
    but they costed about 2-4 times a normal miniDV Camera.
    • If Your Camera works on another Mac. Make an iMovie movie project here and move it
    over to Your Mac via an external hard disk.
    (HAS TO BE Mac OS Extended formatted - USB/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange WILL NOT DO)

    Hi Bengt W, I tried it all, but nothing worked. Your answer has been helpfull insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos) to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before. Thank you. LKN 1935

    Thanks for all your suggestions. What I learned is that I had a software problem. I had something called "Nikon Transfer" on my Mac that was recognizing my Canon camcorder as a still camera and was preventing iMovie from working properly. After uninstalling Nikon Transfer and doing a reboot, everything worked great.
    I never liked the Nikon Transfer software anyway--I guess I'll get a cheap card reader and use that to transfer photos in the future.

    The problem was the external backup hard drive that is connected, you need to disconect the external drive before the mac can see the video camera.

  • How to stop importing from usb drive going into root ITMS directory

    First time I imported, everything was fine. I was trying to get rid of some duplicates and got rid of one of the main subdirectories (I had "Itunes Music" folder with two main subdirectories, let's call them "Laptop" and "Desktop." I noticed I had many duplicate artists from these, so I deleted the "Laptop" directory. Naturally, all these showed up with asterisks on iTunes. With no easy way to delete them all (can't sort based on asterisk, apparently), I removed EVERYTHING from my Library and attempted to copy over from the USB drive again. This time, the contents of "Laptop" went into the root "iTunes Music" folder (so there were now ~50+ folders including the "Desktop."
    This isn't working for me, since my objective is to get rid of the duplicate work (duplicate tracks I can somewhat stomach, but I also have some duplicate "Artists" which is driving me crazy). I removed everything from the library, deleting it all (~30+GB) and deleted all of the subdirectories from the iTunes Music folder.
    When I went to reimport it all again. I dragged the "Laptop" folder from Finder on the USB drive into the iTunes Music directory again (as I did the first time), recreated the and everything continues to populate the top iTunes music folder. Is there any way to stop this? I want the "Laptop" folder to stay in it's subdirectory structure distinct and separate from the "Desktop" folder so I can ensure I am not unnecessarily increasing my structure.
    One easy (though extremely tedious) alternative could be to import the folders one at a time... but I'd really like to avoid that. But for my first mistake, this wouldn't have been an issue. I haven't changed any settings on iTunes, so please advise!

    I have duplicate (different) stuff on the laptop versus desktop but some unique to each (and all kinda scrambled up). I first started importing on my old G3 ibook. It was slower and chugged harder and some are at really low bitrate, for example, and also lack album art. My XP desktop was made for gaming and is much more powerful, so I always did high bitrate and was much more careful to do all the album art, etc.
    Now I'm trying to consolidate it all on my new MBP... Mostly, though, it's a mess and I've been putting this off for years and it's mostly my fault. My biggest gripe is the large number of duplicate tracks. I can live with these when they're from different albums (compilations mostly), but not when one is a lower bit. I imagine I'm gonna be doing it the hard way, one album/artist at a time...

  • Hot to import from IOS 8 "collections" into iPhoto?

    Umm... Ok so everything's changed again and it's a big mystery.
    How do I import photos from the new iPhone IOS 8 "collections" into iPhoto?
    When I connect my iPhone, iPhoto only accesses and displays the "Recently Added" photos, which apparently is only the last 30 days. However there are many more photos on my phone, which are found now in the "Collections" view. Good grief why do they do this? Thank you.

    Edit: Not even the photos appearing in iPhoto are accurate. There are some from well over 30 days ago, and some I took yesterday that do not appear in iPhoto with the iPhone connected. Totally random, frustrating, thanks Apple.

  • Trying to import from different csv files into multiple JTables

    This might seem like something that isn't commonly done, but I'll see if anyone has done this before anyways.
    I currently have a JTable (tab #1) and it successfully reads in the data from a CSV file to populate the cells. Now, I am looking into making 3 more JTables. I can tab between the four different tables, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the data to go to the correct JTable. Tab #1 = table, Tab #2 = table2, Tab #3 = table3, Tab #4 = table4.
    Thanks.
            try
                FileInputStream fileInput = new FileInputStream ("upcoming.csv");
                BufferedReader InputCSV = new BufferedReader (new InputStreamReader (fileInput));
                line = InputCSV.readLine(); //start reading into the records.
                    //Create data for the table.
                    //the row variable = starting row
                int row = 0;
                while(line != null)
                    tmp = line.split(",");
                    for (int col = 0; col < columnNames.length; ++col)
                        data[row][col] = tmp[col]; //store cells' data to the 2-dimensional array.
                    row++;
                    line = InputCSV.readLine();
                }//end of WHILE-statement.
            } //END of TRY-statement.
            catch(Exception e)
                System.out.println(e);
            }

    I have been successful in my quest to get 4 different datasets into 4 different JTables. The previous posters suggestion to use the Table model led me to this page:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/javax/swing/table/TableModel.html
            TableModel myData = new MyTableModel();
            JTable table = new JTable(myData);I had some very similar code in my program. I use the DefaultTableModel and the SortFilterModel before having 4 different JTables.
            DefaultTableModel model = new DefaultTableModel(data, columnNames);
            DefaultTableModel model2 = new DefaultTableModel(data2, columnNames);
            DefaultTableModel model3 = new DefaultTableModel(data3, columnNames);
            DefaultTableModel model4 = new DefaultTableModel(data4, columnNames);I use the code in the first post 4 times, and only change the filename and the data#.
    I also have some code that counts the number of lines that will be needed.
    Thanks.

  • Import Unmanaged version of solution into organization that already has a managed version of same solution

    If a solution is Managed and deployed in CRM 2013 and data has already been written to the entities within that Managed solution, what would happen if we imported an unmanaged version of the managed solution to the same organization?  We have a managed
    solution that needs to be modified to fix an error, and we're not sure how best to do this.  We still have the unmanaged solution if that is an option.
    Thanks for your time.

    Best way is to make the fix(es) in your unmanaged solution, update the solution version number, export it as a managed solution, then import that managed solution over your existing managed solution.

  • Files won't import from Nikon D3200 camera into LR5

    I've just installed LR 5.7.1. I have the camera plugged in directly (Nikon D3200). The thumbnails from my camera are available (I've deselected a few of the images that I don't want to import). The default 'Pictures' folder on my hard drive is the selected destination. I click the 'Import' button and the "Importing files..." message appears and just hangs, nothing imports (camera battery dies after a few hours). The "Copy and Import photos" progress bar at the top left doesn't show any progress. Any suggestions?

    * Thank you for the suggestion.
    Additional info: I can not get the images onto my MacBook Pro via Image Capture either. Same situation, the images appear in thumbnail but after I click import nothing happens. However, I am able to get the pictures onto a separate MacBook via Image Capture indicating that there is something wrong with my system or it's settings. Both computers are running OS X Yosemite.
