Import problem II (cannot import anything)
HI,
Since upgrade FCPX 10.2 yesterday, I cannot import anything from my Camera or from my SD Card. The media import window seem to work but when I hit the «Import» button, nothing happen.
I can see and play my clip in the Import windows.
I can drag and drop thing from the finder but my movie from my Sony NXCAM AVCHD cannot be drag and drop.
I'll try to import my media from Sony «software tools»... but i prefer work with FCP.
I tried in a new project, in new event and in a new library but nothing work.

Yes, my window is active. I can browse in it, play the clip and change settings . My 1st screen shot is odd because I used «Grab» to capture the window. My active application was Grab instead FCPX... There is the good one.
I did trash prefs and repair permissions.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router.
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123. -
Like the subject says...
I cannot import photos via drag-n-drop either from the finder or from iPhoto in the media library.
Similarly, I cannot drag and drop any movies (which open fine in Quicktime)
Did a search here but couldn't really find an answer.
Any help greatly appreciated!

I literally cannot import anything new. Only some existing content from the previous version can be seen, but I also can't seem to edit or work with that. -
Aperture cannot import anything from iPhoto and other bugs!!
Aperture is buggy. Recently, I just updated Mac OS X to 10.4.5 and also updated iLife 06. Now I cannot import anything from iPhoto. I tried import images from iphoto or import iphoto library, both not working. I can import images from other directories but jut could not see anything display under iphoto library directory. Trying to use import iphoto library, click choose and then nothing happens.
If you create a smart web gallery, all photos will be automatically duplicated.I used Pacifist.app to find iPhoto in the iLife '06 install package and then installed the app in the default location replacing the bundle that was there.
the normal method gave me an install error.

I was going nuts trying. I have 6 iphoto libraries with 30,000 photos in total and some would import fine and others would not. couldn't tell the difference between them and had forgotten the update. just got a new iMac intel and wasn't paying attention. Causality -

I have A mac and I did the mistake of upgrading my Lightroom 5.4 to 5.6 Now I can't import anything it says "Could not find namespace: AgCreativeCloudUtils"

If the wrong version has been installed, then it must be uninstalled and the right one downloaded. -
After trying to import a video, iPhoto will not import anything.
Hi. My iPhoto will work relatively fine, but then if there's a video in my photos to import, the whole system crashes. After that, it freezes when importing photos from a camera, even if there are no videos to import anymore. This happened last year, and somehow it was fixed. However I recently forgot and tried to import a roll with some videos on it, and now I can't import anything from my cameras. Here's my crash report. Thanks so much.

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Lightroom 3.6 update and now i can't import anything
I've been using LR 3 for a while, really loving it, then a couple of days ago, I was prompted to an update for 3.6. I did this and now I can't import anything.
I'm using a Mac, OS 10.7, and I've been using a Canon 60D with great success and results, and nothing has changed except for me updating to 3.6.
I'm using Camera Raw 6.6 and I updated the DNG converter to 7.2 and still it won't work. The message i get is that the following couldn't be imported because they could not be read. It's true for the RAW and the JPEG files, both.
Help!I have the exact same problem. I updated to 3.6.12 and encountered the "blank page" printing problem. I ended up re installing Firefox 3.0.19. Printing works great. Also Firefox 3.5.15 gave the same blank page printing problem. I also installed "Better privacy" and " Ghostery"at the time of updates. These programs do not run under the 3.0.19 version. Not sure if if they are related to the problem. Good luck and hope a solution to the problem comes about.

Robohelp 7 Freezes When Trying to Import Anything
When I try to import anything into RoboHelp 7, it freezes. I
go to File > Import and select any option. The result is that
the entire application freezes until I click Escape.
The only thing I've been trying to import is Captivate
movies. The obvious workaround is to initiate movies from within
RoboHelp, which I've been doing. Still, I would like it if I could
import things ...
I'm on XP and haven't done anything usual.I found out what the problem was. I configured dual monitor
display for my laptop (so I could drag items between my laptop
monitor and a desktop monitor). In dual monitor mode, the Import
dialog box appears on the second monitor (because at some point, I
imagine I dragged it there).
When I switched back to single monitor mode, RoboHelp still
thought I was in dual monitor mode and it put the dialog box on the
other (blank or nonexistent) screen. Hence when I tried to import
something, it seemed to freeze because it wouldn't let me push any
other buttons until I made a selection on the dialog box I couldn't
access.
Here's the fix: Set up dual monitor mode again with two
monitors. In RoboHelp, go to File > Import to prompt the dialog
box. Drag the dialog back onto the same monitor as the application.
Now switch back to single monitor mode and go to File > Import
again. The application should remember to put the dialog box in the
correct place, and it no longer freezes. -
I can't import anything to AE!!
There are smilar topics in the forum but none of the solutions worked for me. I've cleaned the media cache, prefs disabled opengl, reinstalled etc.. But still not working. Actually it is working but icant import anything. i can only import ae projects and i can work on composition with only solids, layers etc. i've try to find a solution but i think noone able to fix this problem yet. I am waiting new solutions from you n count on you guys...

Did you install using the same drivers etc.? Then you may have re-introduced the problem. I recommend you boot at least into safe mode (hit F8 during startup) and check, if AE runs there. If it does, then you can be reasonably certain that one of the extended driver components loaded in normal mode is responsible. If so, it may be worth taking a screenshot of your task manager's process and services list (or use tools like Process Explorer, freely downloadable from Microsoft) and compare it to a normal boot. This would help to pin down potential culprits. Based on the names, you could then go looking for solutions.

Itunes 10 will not load on windows 7 64 bit. Error code 2324. Old Itunes is gone or not working. Cannot play anything although files are still there. What the ??? is error 2324. Seems like alot of people ar ehaving the same problem
I have had this problem with Windows 7 and iTunes updates for some time. Each time it takes hours to solve but with the over the air upgrade to IOS6 on my iPhone and iPad, I was determined to solve and remember what I did, So here it is:

Why can't I import anything or contact customer service?
It really bothers me that I can't seem to find a way to directly contact customer service. Let me know if I'm missing something here. Otherwise I may be cancelling my subscription. Also, I can't seem to import anything into Adobe Story and all I can find on the forums is stories about people who also can't import. There is nothing whatsoever on the tutorials about it. So far, Abobe's customer service seems terrible.
Neil, that, at first, seemed a real opportunity to speed up process, so I thought I'd give it a go. However, to no avail. I 'chatted' with assistant, however, as soon as they found out I was requesting support for Story I was promptly referred back to the forums with the advice that 'experts' monitor the forums giving assistance. The 'chatee' could not be persuaded otherwise.
And to be fair, I have found them responding to earlier requests for assistance. It's just a case of 'lag' is all. So, in the meantime, I wait patiently for Rohit and other to respond.

i just bought an ipod for the first time and itunes will not let me add or import anything to my library.i tried uninstalling and re-installing itunes but it didn't work. i also tried just putting on the old itunes version that came with the ipod but it won open at all without the update installed.
Custom built. Windows XP ProWhich iPod model did you purchase? Have you tried simple dragging-and-dropping of files to the iTunes music library window?

I cannot print ANYTHING from email or internet at all; only from Word. Comcast and Kodak says it's a FireFox problem. I have work to print and cannot. All the letters are little square ones with 1 to 2 spaces in between each word.
Caused by a Bug in Firefox 4.0b12. It was fixed on Monday in the 4.0b13 pre "tester" nightly's. The fix will be in the 4.0 Release Candidate.

Problem with my headset - right side: cannot hear anything

I have a macbook air and i plugged in a headseat today but I've noticed that the right side of my headset is not working. I cannot hear anything.
I made some tests and tried several different headsets and I realised it is always a problem with the right side. When I try any headset with my mac book air, I've noticed that I could not hear anything at my right ear.
Then I made another test, and I used the same headset and in other devices like my iphone for example. I've noticied that I can hear everything at both sides, so nothing is wrong with the headsets.
It seems to me that there is a problem with my computer. How do I go about solving this issue?
Is there both left and right sound boxes in my mac book air? I am asking this because I cannot see any sound boxes in my macbook air and therefore I wonder if there may be a problem with the right side of my sound box? Can this be possible?
