Import SQL Table's Metadata Error for MySQL

I am following this blog by William Li.
SAP PI 7.1 Mapping Enhancements Series: Import SQL Table's Metadata - SAP PI 7.1 Mapping Enhancements Series: Import SQL Table's Metadata
I am using MySQL database instead.
Connection to the database is fine because we get to choose the tables in the schema.
When I am importing the Table Definition in Enterprise Service Builder,
I am getting this error
Serialized cause: com.sap.aii.mapping.lookup.LookupException: Exception during processing the payload. Error when calling an adapter by using the communication channel CC_JDBCLookUp (Party: , Service: PT1_BC, Object ID: b088d4ef332833a89ee816faa88b5089) XI AF API call failed. Module exception: (No information available). Cause Exception: 'Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'metadataRequest' (structure 'statement'): com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '"lookuptable" WHERE 1 < 0' at line 1'.
Any ideas for this error?

HI,
     I have a problem trying to connect a MySQL Database, I'm using the mysql-connector-java-5.0.6-bin.jar library that I download from the MySQL Site.
     These are may connection parameters:
         JDBC Driver:  com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
         Connection:     jdbc:mysql://172.16.125.11:3306/gcctea
     If you have any idea...

    I am trying to access a table of records through JDBC OracleCallableStatement. I am able to do it fine for all mappings except for the ones below
    TYPE CAT_CD_TYPE IS TABLE OF A.B %TYPE INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    TYPE ORG_CD_TYPE IS TABLE OF C.D %TYPE INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    Column B is CHAR(1) and Column D is CHAR(2). I am trying to register the out parameters of Oraclecallablestatement as

    cstmt.registerIndexTableOutParameter(3, 2000, OracleTypes.CHAR, 0);

    Hi,
    I'm not sure it's reasonable to expect someone to sift through that much stuff.

    Can you modify the following to reproduce the behavior?

  • SQL Server Agent Jobs error for Slowly changing dimension

    Hi,
    I have implemented Slowly changing dimension in 5 of my packages for lookup insert/update.
    All the packages are running good in SSDT. And when i deployed the project to SSISDB and run the packages all are running successfully. But when i created a job out of that and run the packages, then 3 packages ran successfully and 2 packages failed.
    When i opened All Execution Report. I found the following error:
    Message
    Message Source Name
    Subcomponent Name
    Process Provider:Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR.  An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available.  Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0"  Hresult: 0x80004005  Description:

    Then i opened Provider package in SSDT and changed the source reading record limit from 4,00,000 to 15,000 in source query and deployed again and run, then the job succeeded. more than 15,000 failed.
    And in the 2nd experiment, I removed slowly changing dimension task and implemented normal lookup for insert/update, and set the source reading limit again to 4,00,000 and deployed again and run, then the job succeeded.
    Now i am not able to figure out, what exactly is the problem with Slowly changing dimension task for more than 15,00 records in SQL Server  Agent Job run?
    Can anybody pls help me out.
    Thanks
    Bikram

    Hi Vikash,
    As i have mentioned in the above post, below 2 scenarios:
    "Then i opened Provider package in SSDT and changed the source reading record limit from 4,00,000 to 15,000 in source
    query and deployed again and run, then the job succeeded. more than 15,000 failed.
    And in the 2nd experiment, I removed slowly changing dimension task and implemented normal lookup for insert/update, and set the source reading limit again to 4,00,000 and deployed again and run, then the job succeeded."
    That means i am able to connect to sql server.
    But if i change the 1st scenario and read 4,00,000 records, the job fails and shows the above mentioned error.
    Similarly in the 2nd scenario, if i implement SCD look up,  the job fails and shows the above mentioned error.
    And i am consistently reproducing this.
    Thanks
    Bikram

  • Xsl:import and xsl:call-template errors for xslt in mediator (ORAMED-03601)

    Hello,
    I decided for performance issues with bpel execution to use a mediator instead.
    In my requester i have a mediator that justs recieves an xml message, uses an xsl transformation (version 2) on that message and then sends it to the EBS.
    The xsl file that's works correctly when used in a bpel process has both <xsl:import..../>and <xsl:call_template.../> tags.
    When i tried and used the same xsl in the mediator i get an ORAMED-03601 error:
    ORAMED-03601:[Invalid transformer configuration]Unable to create transformer. It could be because of transformation file or configuration issues. Reason : "xsl/Xform_PriceListListABMReqMsg_to_PriceListEBMReqMsg.xsl"Possible Fix:Check log file for any exceptions and contact Oracle Support Services for further help
    It works correctly again if i comment/remove all the imports and call-template and incorporate them in the xsl file itself.
    Do anyone know if there are some limitations using xsl in a mediator instead of a bpel?

    Hi,
    I have a problem with call-template. I have passed
    sed some parameter with call-template tag and used
    that parameter in the conditional check tag <xsl:if>
    i am getting the error. Can any body tell how to use
    this? I actuall want to dynamically pass the tag name
    as the parameter and check the attribute value of the
    tag passed in the if condition and then i want to
    person some action. How can i do it?
    Here is the call-template code:
    <xsl:call-template name="selected-unselected">
    <xsl:with-param
    ram name="currentTag">motor-carrier</xsl:with-param>
    </xsl:call-template>
    Here is the template definition:
    <xsl:template name="selected-unselected">
    <xsl:param
    m name="currentTag">Quick-Quote</xsl:param>
         <xsl:if test="./{$currentTag}/@selected='true'">
              <xsl:text>checked</xsl:text>
         </xsl:if>
         <xsl:if test="./{$currentTag}/@selected='false'">
              <xsl:text>Unchecked</xsl:text>
         </xsl:if>
    </xsl:template>
    Here is the sample xml code:
    <motor-carrier selected="true"/>
    <motor-truck selected="false"/>
    <sched-mobile-equip selected="false"/>
    Here instead of writing the condition check for every
    tag i want to write it once and dynamically pass the
    tag name as parameter to the template. If the
    attribute of the tag has value true then one message
    should be displayed otherwise a different message
    should be displayed.try this:
    <xsl:template name="selected-unselected">
         <xsl:paramm name="currentTag">Quick-Quote</xsl:param>
         <xsl:if test="./*[name()=$currentTag]/@selected='true'">
              <xsl:text>checked</xsl:text>
         </xsl:if>
         <xsl:if test="./*[name()=$currentTag]/@selected='false'">
              <xsl:text>Unchecked</xsl:text>
         </xsl:if>
    </xsl:template>

    Help

    Hello,
    I have a similar issue, about creating a table in oracle from an existing table in MS Server.
    I've tried the above solution.
    However, there are data type incompatibility issues - like timestamp datatype which is not valid in Oracle since the variable is declared as :
    BLOBLASTUPDATED TIMESTAMP(23) NULL
    Error: ORA-30088: datetime/interval precision is out of range
    which is due to '(23)'
    I actually have to replicate a table (which already exist in MS Server) in Oracle automatically using ODI as interface tool.
    Any advice would be of great help.
    Thanks.

  • SQL Tables

    Can anyone provide the sql tables that are used for Security/Provisioning in Shared Services?
    Appreciate any help, thanks.

    You have two options then.
    1) Recommended way is to use of LDAP API to connect to OpenLDAP directly
    2) Possibly reverse engineering the tables it uses which is not SQL based; OpenLDAP makes use of Berkeley DB -- see http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/index.html
    The Berkeley DB files are stored on your Shared Services install under the openLDAP directory.
    The Berkeley DB files are stored under that area in the directory var\openldap-data

  • Huge memory leaks in using PL/SQL tables and collections

    I have faced a very interesting problem recently.
    I use PL/SQL tables ( Type TTab is table of ... index by binary_integer; ) and collections ( Type TTab is table of ...; ) in my packages very widely. And have noticed avery strange thing Oracle does. It seems to me that there are memory leaks in PGA when I use PL/SQL tables or collections. Let me a little example.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE rds_mdt_test IS
    TYPE TNumberList IS TABLE OF NUMBER INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER);
    END rds_mdt_test;
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY rds_mdt_test IS
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER) IS
    x TNumberList;
    BEGIN
    FOR indx IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    x(indx) := indx;
    END LOOP;
    END;
    END rds_mdt_test;
    I run the following test code:
    BEGIN
    rds_mdt_test.test_plsql_table (1000000);
    END;
    and see that my session uses about 40M in PGA.
    If I repeat this example in the same session creating the PL/SQL table of smaller size, for instance:
    BEGIN
    rds_mdt_test.test_plsql_table (1);
    END;
    I see again that the size of used memory in PGA by my session was not decreased and still be the same.
    The same result I get if I use not PL/SQL tables, but collections or varrays.
    I have tried some techniques to make Oracle to free the memory, for instance to rewrite my procedure in the following ways:
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER) IS
    x TNumberList;
    BEGIN
    FOR indx IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    x(indx) := indx;
    END LOOP;
    x.DELETE;
    END;
    or
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER) IS
    x TNumberList;
    BEGIN
    FOR indx IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    x(indx) := indx;
    END LOOP;
    FOR indx in 1 .. cnt LOOP
    x.DELETE(indx);
    END LOOP;
    END;
    or
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER) IS
    x TNumberList;
    empty TNumberList;
    BEGIN
    FOR indx IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    x(indx) := indx;
    END LOOP;
    x := empty;
    END;
    and so on, but result was the same.
    This is a huge problem for me as I have to manipulate collections and PL/SQL tables of very big size (from dozens of thousand of rows to millions or rows) and just a few sessions running my procedure may cause server's fall due to memory lack.
    I can not understand what Oracle reseveres such much memory for (I use local variables) -- is it a bug or a feature?
    I will be appreciated for any help.
    I use Oracle9.2.0.1.0 server under Windows2000.
    Thank you in advance.
    Dmitriy.

    Thank you, William!
    Your advice about using DBMS_SESSION.FREE_UNUSED_USER_MEMORY was very useful. Indeed it is the tool I was looking for.
    Now I write my code like this
    declare
    type TTab is table of ... index binary_integer;
    res TTab;
    empty_tab TTab;
    begin
    res(1) := ...;
    res := empty_tab;
    DBMS_SESSION.FREE_UNUSED_USER_MEMORY;
    end;
    I use construction "res := empty_tab;" to mark all memory allocated to PL/SQL table as unused according to Tom Kyte's advices. And I could live a hapy life if everything were so easy. Unfortunately, some tests I have done showed that there are some troubles in cleaning complex nested PL/SQL tables indexed by VARCHAR2 which I use in my current project.
    Let me another example.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE rds_mdt_test IS
    TYPE TTab0 IS TABLE OF NUMBER INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    TYPE TRec1 IS RECORD(
    NAME VARCHAR2(4000),
    rows TTab0);
    TYPE TTab1 IS TABLE OF TRec1 INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    TYPE TRec2 IS RECORD(
    NAME VARCHAR2(4000),
    rows TTab1);
    TYPE TTab2 IS TABLE OF TRec2 INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    TYPE TStrTab IS TABLE OF NUMBER INDEX BY VARCHAR2(256);
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER);
    PROCEDURE test_str_tab(cnt INTEGER);
    x TTab2;
    empty_tab2 TTab2;
    empty_tab1 TTab1;
    empty_tab0 TTab0;
    str_tab TStrTab;
    empty_str_tab TStrTab;
    END rds_mdt_test;
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY rds_mdt_test IS
    PROCEDURE test_plsql_table(cnt INTEGER) IS
    BEGIN
    FOR indx1 IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    FOR indx2 IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    FOR indx3 IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    x(indx1) .rows(indx2) .rows(indx3) := indx1;
    END LOOP;
    END LOOP;
    END LOOP;
    x := empty_tab2;
    dbms_session.free_unused_user_memory;
    END;
    PROCEDURE test_str_tab(cnt INTEGER) IS
    BEGIN
    FOR indx IN 1 .. cnt LOOP
    str_tab(indx) := indx;
    END LOOP;
    str_tab := empty_str_tab;
    dbms_session.free_unused_user_memory;
    END;
    END rds_mdt_test;
    1. Running the script
    BEGIN
    rds_mdt_test.test_plsql_table ( 100 );
    END;
    I see that usage of PGA memory in my session is close to zero. So, I can judge that nested PL/SQL table indexed by BINARY_INTEGER and the memory allocated to it were cleaned successfully.
    2. Running the script
    BEGIN
    rds_mdt_test.test_str_tab ( 1000000 );
    END;
    I can see that plain PL/SQL table indexed by VARCHAR2 and memory allocated to it were cleaned also.
    3. Changing the package's type
    TYPE TTab2 IS TABLE OF TRec2 INDEX BY VARCHAR2(256);
    and running the script
    BEGIN
    rds_mdt_test.test_plsql_table ( 100 );
    END;
    I see that my session uses about 62M in PGA. If I run this script twice, the memory usage is doubled and so on.
    The same result I get if I rewrite not highest, but middle PL/SQL type:
    TYPE TTab1 IS TABLE OF TRec1 INDEX BY VARCHAR2(256);
    And only if I change the third, most nested type:
    TYPE TTab0 IS TABLE OF NUMBER INDEX BY VARCHAR2(256);
    I get the desired result -- all memory was returned to OS.
    So, as far as I can judge, in some cases Oracle does not clean complex PL/SQL tables indexed by VARCHAR2.
    Is it true or not? Perhaps there are some features in using such way indexed tables?

  • How to integrate DRM with third party tool for loading metadata in SQL table

    Experts,
    I am new to DRM and I have a requirement in which we want to integrate DRM with third party tool(lets say SQL table) as target and load metadata from DRM (Parent node, name , alias etc) to SQL table (same column name)
    Is there any way we can integrate DRM to export the same to table directly instead to files. If yes what are the steps we have to follow.
    Is there anyway we can customize DRM to execute queries or run batch
    Can I have a basic example please.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,

    1. Use DRM Export to Table option, for that create an External Connection first for the Target Database and select the respective Tables to which you wish to Export the Hierarchy information.
    2. You can perform most of the DRM Actions via the DRM_BATCH_CLIENT.exe.
        Please refer to Using the Data Relationship Management Batch Client of DRM User guide.
    let me know if you have any issues.
