Importing flv with external playback.. loop?!

Hi!
I'm trying to create google ads under the 50kb limit which is causing some headaches...anyway! I've noticed something. If I import my flv (which I've created in after effects) into adobe flash CS5.5 with "load external video with playback component" and then export the whole thing out as a SWF the file size is really small. 50 kb's compared to 795.6 kb's if the "embed flv in SWF" option is used.
So my problem is this, I want to use the option of "load external video with playback component" but I want the video to loop when it's exported out as an SWF. Is this actually possible?
I've tried some scripts which I've found, but I cant get it to work.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks!
M

Well yes, you can loop the video using the FLVPlayback, but I think you are missing the point of the 50kb google ad limit.
When you use FLVPlayback, you must also use an external .flv file. So besides the <50kb .swf file, you will also have the >700kb .flv file. You cannot just use the .swf. So together, those two files put you way over the 50kb limit.
Best wishes,

    Hi guys,
    pls help me on this:
I have a WSDL file which referes to external data types. Obviously, if I want to create a message mapping I can't see the WSDL data type. How are such situations resolved? How to import external types into PI?
    Thx, A.

    HI,
You have to inport the WSDL  alongwith all its external references.

    Hello.
I am making a website like presentation in flash and I am having some very annoying problems...
What I am trying to do is making a video which I've imported as a video with external playback components using no skin at all to go from start to finish and after playback I want it to automatically jump to the next frame in my presentation (3). I can't get it to work, wasted 6 hours and not a shade of success... Using Actionscript 1.0 & 2.0 in Adobe Flash CS4. The video is in 1080p and I can't sacrifice that, it's 22 seconds long.
I've gotten everything to work except this part.

  • Performance problem in Mapping Designer using UDF with external imports

    Hello,
we do have a big performance problem in developing (not in execution) graphical Mappings as far as we use "user defined functions" (UDF) with include-entries referencing to jar files which are imported as "imported archives".
For example the execution of invice mapping with a little bit bigger test file in the Mapping designer:
    - after opening, not in change mod: 6 seconds
    - after switching to change mod: 37 seconds (that's clear, now everything is compiled first)
    - after adding "com.seeburger.functions.permstore.CounterFactory;" into the "import" field of one UDF, no other change: 227 seconds
    - after saving and submiting the changlist (no longer in change mode): 6 seconds
    - after switching to change mode: 227 seconds
So execution speed of testing (and also when watching queues) only increases in changemod more then three minutes when using UDF with imports, referencing to external JAR files. It doesn't depend on Seeburger functions (we are using XI also for EDIFACT, so we also use some Seeburger functions), I can reproduce it with any other JAR file which is used from a UDF.
Using java included functions like "java.text.NumberFormat;" in "Import" doesn't slow down the testing.
Can anybody reproduce this? We are using XI 3.0 SP19 on a AIX machine, so we also have to use the Java version from IBM.

Problem was fixed by a upgrad of the JDK.

  • Can't get Progressive FLV's to playback in flash movie

Developing a flash resource which runs FLV files from within it as pro
gressive. It works ok on my local testing computer/network server. But when I put it online it does not play.
I opened up the components panel for each FLV and noticed they were absolutely linked to my network drive (obviously when online this linking will now work). So i changed all the linking to be relative and some warning windows did come up and say i was breaking the link but i ignored them because i don't care about how it runs locally...i want this resource to work online!
But now the FLVs will not playback locally or online! I need some help....something that it might also be is I am uploading this resource to an LMS called Janisons (perhaps they are not FLV through flash playback - friendly).
Is there any particular path of troubleshooting I could go along? Because I have just about tried everything i know!
    Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I changed back one of the FLVs parameters to link to local drive in the component parameters - and as expected, it runs fine locally but when previewd in chrome (which might i add has some great debugging features that you could only dream of finding in IE) i get the following message:
SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file http://my.tafe.qld.gov.au/GLC/GLC_Food_Hospitality/GLC_SITHFAB009A_TQC_A/Scenario/barMenu.swf cannot access local resource G:\Resource Development\RD\2009-2010\ITG 4\Food&Bev\RSA\Online\Resources\Scenario\Scenario4_Staff_Responsibility\ExpensiveArvo2.flv. Geez I feel like a numbskull.
I had identified the problem correctly (linking) - but i only just found out that the linking is relative to the placement of the SWF file within the folder structure - NOT THE HTML FILE IT IS EMBEDDED WITHIN. I'm just so used to considering everything relative to the HTML page in previous versions of Flash (i.e. when coding external website links).

  • Importing video with sound to GarageBand 2.0 and iOS 7.0.4

Importing video with sound to GarageBand 2.0 and iOS 7.0.4
My daughter has an iPad 2 with GarageBand 2.0 and iOS 7.0.4.  She would like to import a video file which has a sound track on it to GarageBand for iPad so that she can add an additional sound track to it.  The video/audio file to be imported would be in AVI, MPEG2 or another iPad compatible format.  Is this possible? If so, how would the mechanics work?  Would you: (1) load the file into the Movies section of iTunes and import the file from the Movies section of iTunes; (2) save the file onto an SD card and import the video/audio file from the SD card by inserting the SD card into an "SD adaptor" on an "iPad Camera Connection Kit"; or (3) email the video file to yourself and upload it to GarageBand from email?

This is part of a mobile training application and I allow the learner to record an audio response in addition to viewing the videos.  When they record a response, you can hear the playback so the device has its volume up and working when the app is running.  Since I posted this issue, I switched to .flv video and that plays ok.  It's apparently the .mp4 video that's a problem.  I'm encoding it with ffmpeg and suspect that it's something with the settings.   Do you have a recommendation for mp4 settings for OSMF?

  • Final Cut 7 audio sync issue with external audio

Ok, I've seached around a lot and still haven't found the solution for this common issue, which is sync between video and audio wich were recorded in two different devices.
My video is from a conference (a lady speaking all the time) ProRess 29.97 and my audio is wav recorded at 44.1 Khz. I have already converted my external audio to a fine AIFF 48 Khz, and I have already re-imported it with the correct 29.97 easy setup, as it shows on this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt-nfelM8KA. That helped a lot but audio still goes out on sync when playback goes further (not that much, but it shows).
On Premiere Pro, that wav file a correctly in sync, and I have had this issue before with FCP and now it has come back! help!
Anyone found a real solution for this issue?

Why not just use Premier? FCP is going to slowly die out anyways....
Anyhow, a work around... using the speed change tool (sss) adjust the audio to be the same length of the video so it is in sync... Press command-J, make note of the percentage you sped up your audio. Now open your audio in STP, select all of your audio go to Process>Timestretch and adjust the audio and apply the same percentage.
Listen to your audio. STP's time stretch is excellent because it adjusts the speed without changing the pitch.
    Save as, re-import your audio.

  • Pausing a linked .flv with actionscript

    Hi all.
Let me preface by saying that I'm fist-and-foremost a
    designer... and an actionscript novice.
I have an external .flv and I simply need to be able to pause
it with a frame action and start it back up with another frame
    action.
I found some references to "flvStream.play" through google
but I haven't been able to properly implement it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
    advance.

    Geisen,
    > I have an external .flv and I simply need to be able to
    > pause it with a frame action and start it back up with
    > another frame action.
The most important tip I can share with you is this: think
    in terms of
objects. An FLV video, external or not, is a file format that
    needs a bit
of help getting displayed. A very popular approach is to use
    the
FLVPlayback Component (see the Components panel), which
    includes a number of
configurable (and optional) "skins" that allow for pausing,
    playing, volume
control, etc. The FLVPlayback Component, in that scenario, is
    your object.
Many people use a Video asset from the Library in cahoots
    with something
called NetConnection and NetStream, in which case you're
    dealing with three
objects (Video, NetConnection, and NetStream) that
    collaborate. Going back
further, there are Media Components that provide much of the
    functionality
of FLVPlayback, in which case the focus of your object(s)
    changes again.
In all cases, objects are defined by something called
    classes. Movie
clips are defined by the MovieClip class, text fields by the
    TextField
class, FLVPlayback by the FLVPlayback class, and so on.
    Classes define
objects in the way a recipe defines a certain kind of cake or
    a blueprint
defines a certain kind of structure. In the ActionScript 2.0
    Language
Reference, you'll find that most classes list one or more of
    the following
three headings: properties (characteristics of the object),
    methods (things
the object can do), and events (things the object can react
    to). In the
ActionScript 3.0 Langauge Reference (if you have Flash CS3),
    you'll find the
same format, with the occasional additional heading. From a
    bird's eye
view, however, the layout is the same: objects have certain
    properties, and
can do certain things and react in certain ways (to button
    clicks, internal
timers, etc.) -- and it's the combination of these qualities
    that makes a
given object the type it is (e.g., text fields don't have
    timelines, so the
TextField class doesn't mention anything about a text field's
    current frame,
yet text fields and movie clips both have width and height,
    and both their
    classes mention as much).
So ... the way you're going to pause your FLV video depends
    on entirely
on the object(s) being used to display that video. If you're
    using
FLVPlayback, you'll have to give that Component on the Stage
    an instance
name (see the Property inspector while the Component is
    selected). Instance
names allow ActionScript to speak directly to individual
    instances of an
object -- this particular FLVPlayback in the lower left, for
    example, rather
than the other one in the upper right.
Once it has an instance name, you can reference that name
    and invoke
FLVPlayback class members on that instance. If you've given
    it the instance
name myPlayer, you would invoke FLVPlayback.pause() (the
    pause method) as
    follows:
// In a keyframe of your scripts layer ...
    myPlayer.pause();
And to start it up again, you would invoke
    FLVPlayback.play() (the play
method) at a later keyframe like this:
    myPlayer.play();
If you're using a combination of a Video element from the
    Library and
the NetConnection and NetStream classes, you'll reference
    your NetStream
object by its instance name (this will be the variable you
    use to
instantiate the object) and invoke NetStream.pause(), and so
    on.
Here are a few articles in ActionScript 2.0 on the topic:
    http://www.quip.net/blog/2006/flash/how-to-load-external-video
    http://www.quip.net/blog/2006/flash/how-to-control-flv-without-component
    http://www.quip.net/blog/2007/flash/actionscript-20/how-to-determine-completion-of-flv/
Those should at least get you a bit more comfortable with
    the idea of
classes, objects, and their members (properties, methods, and
    events). If
you're building a movie in ActionScript 3.0, the syntax may
    change ... not
so much for quick method calls, but certainly for event
    handling. For what
you're described, even these AS2 examples should be helpful.

  • How do I import .flv files to Adobe Premiere 12?

How do I import .flv files to Adobe Premiere 12?
    thanks,

    XTimeTravelers
If the details are as stated in your latest post, there are no inconsistencies here between us. Misunderstandings, probably.
Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 are standalone programs. Each comes with the same (but its own) Elements Organizer 11 and each with its own Editor section. When a given version (Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 for example) is on the same computer, that version shares the same Elements Organizer catalog. All that being said....
All you are saying is that you can import a .flv file into the Elements Organizer 11 that came with Photoshop Elements 11.
    a. Photoshop Elements 11 is a photo editor and will not support video (flv or otherwise). We agree on that.
    b. Elements Organizer 11 that comes with Photoshop Elements 11 does support the import of .flv files there for organizational purposes. And, you should be able to playback the .flv file in the Elements Organizer 11 (you may need VLC player, not sure on that requirement...but it is possible). You can do the same for Elements Organizer 12.
All we are saying is the you cannot import a .flv file into the Premiere Elements Editor, be it for Premiere Elements Editor 11 or 12. And, you have not said that you have. All you are talking about is your experiences in the Elements Organizer 11 which should be the same for the Elements Organizer 12.
So, we are in agreement on everything.
    Summary:
You cannot import a .flv file into the Photoshop Elements Editor (any version) because it is a photo editor. You never claimed you did.
You cannot import a .flv file into the Premiere Elements Editor (any version) even though it is a video editor. This particular video editor (11 or 12) does not support .flv.
The Elements Organizer of these programs is another story where it is possible to import the .flv for organizational purposes and even playback.
Does that make it all come together for you?
Please review the above and then let me know if I am out of sync on what you wrote and how I have interpreted it.
    Thanks.

  • Camera not recognized unless daisy-chained with external HD

I just bought a LaCie 250GB external FW drive to use as a scatch disk for FCE. Now my camera (Sony DCR-HC30) is not recognized unless I plug it into the LaCie. I borrowed a second camera (Panasonic), swapped the FW cable while the camera and HD were plugged into separate FW ports, and the Panasonic was immediately connected in both iMovie (v4) and FCE. I've tried the suggested fixes (unplug, Garageband, swap ports, new cable...) and the problem remains. I upgraded memory, QT and applied several patches prior to attaching the HD. Any suggestions? Can I live with the daisy chain arrangement or will that cause problems importing to the external HD? (I've not tried to import any video yet). Thanks

Can I live with the daisy chain arrangement or will that cause problems importing to the external HD?
    Yes and No, respectively.

Inbound.getTime() is a static method of your Inbound class, that always returns the same value, I presume? As opposed to each of the 25 members of your array in, which have individual values?

  • How can I open a project that has been created with Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration software, on my trial version of Premier Pro CC?

    Hi,
I'm working with a colleague who is using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration software on his PC version of Premier Pro CC. I am using a mac and have a trial version of Premier Pro CC. When I try to open a project file that he has sent me I get an error message-
"Missing renderer: This project was last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA), which is either not available or not certified on this system. Mercury Playback Engine Software Only will be used."
When I click OK and locate the files I get a message saying "File format not supported".
Can anyone tell me what to do so that we can share project files?
    Many thanks,
    Jessie

Shouldn't really be the MPE at fault here ... what is the codec of the footage/sequence/project?
Second, can you create a new project in PrPro, then in the media browser, import that sequence from the other project?

  • PO Creation with external PO number

    Hi All,
We have SRM and some other legacy system. We will receive the PO information from the legacy system with the Legacy PO number. Now we have to create a PO with external number only.
So for PO creation we are using the BAPI BAPI_POEC_CREATE.  this is working fine if you dont pass any external PO number.
But If you pass external PO number I am facing some problem. BAPI_POEC_CREATE is giving the informaiton that PO with XXXXXXX number is created, but when we call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT it is throing some error like.
Buffer table not up to date
    Message no. BBP_PD001
    Diagnosis
In LOOP OBJ_RELATIONS_UPDATE (function group SAPLBBP_PDH_OR) an inconsistent status was discovered.
    Procedure
Start the transaction again. If the error occurs again, create an OSS message.
To analyze the error, you can set a breakpoint in the function module 'BBP_PD_ABORT' and look at the call-up hierarchy in debugging mode.
Is this the number range problem? please tell me what is missing.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raghu

    Raghavender,
I think that maybe the external number is not the problem.
Sometimes the explicit <b>COMMIT</b> causes this error cuz some processes or BADI's  are accessing the table at memory level, so if you use this explicit bapi_transaction_commit maybe it will raise that error...
Have your tried to remove that function call?
    Please acknowledge if it worked...

    Gerardo.

  • Creation of Server Proxy for  Message interface with External Defination

    Dear All,
I am getting a problem while generating a server proxy for the inbound interface . The request message used in the inbound interface is a external definition which is uploaded using a XSD file. The XSD file was supplied by a third party which is having very high complex strucuture and used lot of abstract data types in the design. When i tried to generate the proxy in the R/3 system (Transaction SPROXY) for the inbound interface i am getting following error.
Interface uses external and internal message definitions
    Message no. SPRX122 *
    Diagnosis
In a message interface you can use messages from different sources:
Message types and fault message types edited in the Enterprise Services Repository
Messages imported into the Enterprise Services Repository (external definitions, RFC, IDoc)
In the current message interface, message types from different sources have been used. Since messages from these different sources must be handled differently during proxy generation, such a mixture of messages within a message interface is not possible.
    System Response
    The interface cannot be generated.
    Procedure
Change the interface definition accordingly in the Enterprise Services Repository.
Please guide me, how to generate the proxy for the interface with external defination message. I could nt geneate manullay, because it is having very high complexity and its a big structure.
Is there is any way to generate the proxy for interface with external definition
    Regards
    Vijayanand

    Hi,
    i.       Import your message schemas from external definitions, or RFCs or IDocs from SAP systems. These definitions already contain data types.
