I have purcahased an in game gold from the gameloft store (order and chaos) and money has been charged however gold was never delivered, I contacted the developer many times but so far I have no answer yet. It is very frustrating please help me to solve this issue

    Talked to iTunes support and here's what happened.
    About four years ago, I had created an Apple account for my work and when my wife purchased my my iPT, she had my son setup my iPT so that it was working when they gave it to me.
    What he did was create a new account with the same email address, that the old account was using, so when I made a purchase on my home computer, the purchases would end up on my new account. Now here's where it get weird. When I made a purchase on my iPT, it would send the purchase receipt to my private email, (just as my new account would) but the purchase history would be reflected in my old Apple account, even though my home computer was used to sync my iPT to the new account.
    So, now that I know this, I'm making sure that my new account that my son setup, is not being used for purchases anymore on my home computer. I'm back to using my old account now.

    Apple takes a few days to bill your credit card. By removing to information the next day Apple could not bill you therefore creating the predicament your in. Try contacting iTunes support so they can help you resolve the issue.

    I purchased a few games from the app store recently. I have updated all of the software on my Macbook Pro but the applications will not launch. If the problem was contained within just one application, I could have fixed it, but neither of the applications will launch. I click on them, they turn blue, but that's it.     Apps on the iTunes store are made for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and not the Mac.
    By any chance, do you mean the Mac App Store?

    In the recent update of the Terms and Conditions of the iTunes store, the following statement is made: "Purchases or rentals (as applicable) from the iTunes Store are available to you only in the United States and are not available in any other location. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Store from outside of the available territory. Apple may use technologies to verify such compliance."
    My question is: If I, as a non US-resident, use the US iTunes Store only for the 'free stuff' (iPod software updates, free applications, free podcasts, album artwork), am I complying to the statement above?
    Because the way I see it, something that is free cannot be purchased. Hence, I don't make any purchases.
    Am I wrong or can I continue what I was doing? (I will never buy anything from the iTunes store, because I always get it from the 'real' stores, e.g. Cd's and Dvd's. So I don't use any redeem codes or gift cards or other stuff like that.)

    You can't open an account in the US iTunes Store without having a US credit card or a prepaid iTunes card or gift certificate and a valid US mailing address, even to obtain the free tracks and videos, so the precise interpretation of what constitutes "purchased" in the language of the Store terms is rather academic. You won't be able to open an account.

  • Unable to Update Any Applications purchased through MAS

    Hello.
    I am unable to update any of my purchased apps from the Mac App Store. Have used the 10.6.6 combo updater, repaired disk permissions, reset Apple ID password, but am still unable to update. The updates tab is empty, and when I try to click an Update button from the purchases tab, I get a dialog that says:
    "You have updates available for other accounts. Sign in to (null) to update applications for that account."
    I haven't used any other Apple ID for the MAS.
    Console.app is spitting out this error when I try to update:
    1/18/11 7:48:26 PM App Store[6985] multibyte IDs are unsupported.

    I posted a solution in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=13006522&tstart=0 that worked for me. I had Spotlight indexing disabled (Privacy tab > added the root drive). I allowed Spotlight to reindex and now the App Store works as expected.
    If anyone wants to take the time and discern what specifically Spotlight needs to index that would be great as I never use it and hate the rude mds and mdworker processes thrashing at the drive.

    date time mdsprocessID (Warning) Server: No stores registered for metascope "kMDQueryScopeComputer"
    It appeared every time I started the App Store.
