In Stock of item shows overall stock - sales/pruchase documents

hi all,
Why in marketing In Stock of a item shows overall stock instead of stock at specific warehouse  ?
Whether this issue is corrected in latest B level patches ?
We are using SAP B1 2005B PL36.
Jeyakanthan.

hi jeyakanthan
This is how it works in 2007B
individually it shows ware house wise" in stock, commited, ordered, available" quantities,
at the end it shows the overall quantity available, other thing is system deducts negative quatity from possitive quantity , hope this is what you were looking for

  • Display sale price only if the item is in stock using liquid rendering engine?

Is there someone that knows the liquid rendering engine? Client meluka.co.nz wants the sale price displayed only if the item is in stock. LiveChat advised that this can be implemented using the liquid rendering engine so if the stock is greater or equal to one the sale price (discounted price) will show up. If no product in stock the retail price will display. Ad is in tomorrow's paper so pressure is on - urgent developer's help required please!

    Sure,
You see where I was coming from -"Can you do this for me for free" - I did Cringe.
But its straight forward. Liquid you have if statements..
    http://docs.businesscatalyst.com/dev-assets/reference#!/liquid-reference/reference/logic-t ags.html
And you have your liquid tags:
    Developer reference
    {% if isOnSale == true -%}
    DO THIS
    {% else -%}
    DO THAT
    {% endif -%}
You need to double check as the old tag returned 0 or 1 and Liquid should be proper true or false, but not sure where BC got too in the constancy yet, they been quite on updates recently. If it does not work with == true then it will be == 1

  • Items with  zero stock quantity show negative stock value in Stock reports

When running Stock reports for controlling the stock value towards the GL accounts, some items appear with zero stock quantity, but the report still shows a stock value  (negative value in my case)
How can this happen, and how can I correct this situation ?
System parameters are :   negative stock is not allowed, Items with zero cost price not allowed. On item level average cost price method is used.
    P.K.Johnsen

    Hi Johnsen,
I believe you have checked the" Manage Inventory by warehouse". I have noticed this issue in SAP B1 2005B but this is rectified in 2007B. The system behaves in this way as the system maintains item cost for the item for all warehouses and even if the stock is not present in the warehouse, the system would still show you a value for the same. Hope this helps. please search the forum. You'll find related threads.
    Thanks,

  • SAP Report that shows Items Over Maximum Stock Levels

I previously processed a reprot from SAP that I didn't capture the the T-Code for, whis shows my stock items with inventory values greater the set max.  I have tried searching and haven't had any luck on finding it again so I am reaching out with the hopes that someone might be able to help.  Thanks

    Hi,
I Think there is no standard report in SAP to check inventory stock more then maximum stock.
You can download your as on date stock from MB5B tcode & download maximum stock item list list from table MARC-MABST in excel format & join it through Vlookup. After that you can get stock list as required by you.
Or you have to develop Z report for that.
If any report is there,I would also interested to know it.

  • Sales order stock not showing in stock overview(MMBE)

    Hi,
I have a MTO scenario where against the sales order production order has been created.
Production order has been delivered & the material document showing 101E movement type.
After that the material has been transfered to another storage location with in the same plant with movement type 311E.
We can see the sales order no. on each material document.
But in stock overview no sales order stock is there against the particular sales order and because of this user is not able to create delivery for the same sales order.
    Please guide in this matter.
    Regards,
    Susrikant

    Hi,
In MMBE, check for the log on the movement type. You can find it in MMBE once the report is displayed. Select the storage location and then check for the Movement of goods from Menu > Environment > Movement types. It will have all the details of quantity moved in and qty moved out. You can easily identify thro' which movement type this material and qty is moved.
    Also check the tcode MB52.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Prem,
In Sub-Contracting you need to do Transfer posting first using MB1B. Here you will issue your goods to vendor, but no accounting document gets generated
Then your stock balance using t-code MMBE. It will show that stock with vendor the subcontacted material
At the time of Good Receipt from Subcontractor. following accounting entery gets generted

  • Inter-Company Sales v/s Inter-Company Stock Transfer v/s Third Party Sales

Hi, I understand the basic business processes between Inter-Company Sales, Inter-Company Stock Transfer and Third Party Sales.
The Inter-Company Sales is sales process between two companies having different company codes. A customer orders an item to Company A which can't be delivered by Company A, so Company A generates PO to Company B which supplies the item to Company A and finally Company A delivers it to Customer.
The Inter-Company Stock Transfer is stock transfer from one plant to another where the plants belong to two different company codes. Now all Inter-Company Sales process covers Inter-Company Stock Transfer process.
Third Party Sales process is process where a customer orders an item to Company A but Company A ca't deliver the item to the customer. So Company A generates a PO to Company B which in turn directly delivers the item to customer. After the goods receipt verification at customer end Company A pays to Company B.
Now looking at the these basic process steps I just want to know what is the basic difference between Inter-Company Sales and Inter-Company Stock Transfer ? Is this something that when there is a need to deliver an item to the customer and not available in that company, the Inter-Company Sales takes place but when there is no customer order but the companies want to maintain stock, the Inter-Company Stock Transfer takes place ? Please clarify based on my above understanding.

    Hi
I will explain you with example
Say there are 2 org structures
Company code 1000 sales org 1000 and DC 10 and division is 00 and plant 1000
Company code 2000 sales org 2000 and DC 20 and division is 00 and plant 2000
Now A customer Say X lies in sales area 1000,10,00 and a sales order is created for a material ABCD for this customer X in sales  area 1000,10,00
Now if the plant 2000 supplies this material ABCD for this order to the customer X in sales area 1000,10,00 then it is intercompany sales
IF  the plant  2000 transfers the stock to plant 1000 ands (then if the plant 1000 supplies to this sales order for customer X) then it is intercompany STO
If the material is supplied from a external vendor directly to the customer X without involving your plants then it is third party sales
Now all Inter-Company Sales process covers Inter-Company Stock Transfer process
    No not at all
    Both are entirely different
Inter-Company Stock Transfer process doesnot involve Inter-Company sales
Similarly Inter-Company sales  does not involve Inter-Company Stock Transfer process both are different
Third party means it is an external vendor not your other company code
    All three are different
If a plant  belonging to one company code directly makes a delivery for a customer to the sales order created in another company code then it is intercompany sales
the movement of stocks between plants of 2 different company codes is inter company STO

  • Sales order price with normal stock as well as Reserve stock

    Dear all
i have different situation in stock reserving plz let me know
i am explaining whole scenario plz tell me how to proceed
ex: customer agreed To buy the stock around 500 qnt so i have kept stock reserve on  jan 15th 500 qnty ( by using 412 e )
At theat time price is 10 rs per one so totally 500*10=5000
Now after 3 days i mean 18th price increased 15 rs per one
    now total price is 500*15=7500
in copy control price type is maintained carry out new pricing
user created one sales order with 1000 qnty
now what he wants system should bring old price for 500 qnty (500*10=5000) And remaining 500 qnty with new price (500*15=7500)
I told as per my knowledge System will bring old price only for reserved stock if you want to apply new price for reserved stock just 411 e return the stock from reservation and now create sales order
    i hope this right
But here imp thing is how price is calculated if different type of price is there for same material
i have created one sales order with 1000 qnty ( 500 reserv stock +500 Normal stock ) here how price is calculated i mean schedule lines will be different
bz for 500 one price and remaining 500 another price but in one line
Is it possible to calculate price like this 500*10=5000+(500*15=7500) =12500 rs
    is this possible ?
plz let me know this process how to proceed and tell me You have any doubts
    thanks a lot

Maintain a condition record for Rs.10/- with a validity date (only as an example) as 1st March'14 to 15th March'14.  Another condition record for Rs.15/- with validity date as 16th March'14 to 31st March'14.
Now create a sale order for 500 nos. with one line item and change the pricing date as 15th March'14.  Similarly, create another line item for the same material with 500 nos. and here, change the pricing date as 16th March'14 at line item level.  By doing so, system would fetch the pricing in billing accordingly.
I told as per my knowledge System will bring old price only for reserved stock if you want to apply new price for reserved stock just 411 e return the stock from reservation and now create sales order
    i hope this right
Your understanding is incorrect.  System will never validate pricing based on age of the stocked material but based on validity period what you maintain in condition record.

  • Using Consignment Stock and filling up an unrelated Sales Order

    Hi there,
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I have an issue that I hoped SCN may be able to resolve.
We have a client for whom we hold Stock in our warehouse location. We fill up this stock using SAP Sales Orders (at 0 revenue) to maintain levels to satisfy need.
When the client puts in a stock request, they do so using our front end quoting engine which is integrated with SAP, and effectively drives the client invoice. This sends through picking and shipping requests to our warehouse who immediately action the stock holding to satisfy the request, creating Outbounds against the stocking order(s).
At a later stage the quoting engine creates a Sales Quotation in SAP which is then converted to a Sales Order. In order to reconcile the Order and the shipments, the Stock Order Outbounds are then reversed, and re-issued against this new (unrelated) Sales Order, and then we can move to invoice.
Step by Step, the process broadly looks as follows:
    - Order Stock via 'Sales Order (1)'
    - Pick and Deliver Stock (Outbounds are created against Stock 'Sales Order (1)')
    - Process the client request and create 'Invoice Sales Order (2)'
    - Reverse the Outbounds against Stock 'Sales Order (1)' and link these to 'Invoice Sales Order (2)'.
    - Process to Invoice.
I am trying to determine if there is a more efficient means of processing this requirement, and whether consignment stock can help us here. From what I have read, I am assuming that for consignment stock a saleable YKE can only be created against an existing YKB. For the model that we are trying to operate, ideally we need a solution where we can Associate the YKB items to YOR, or perhaps achieve the following:
    - Order Stock via 'Sales Order (1)'
    - Move this Stock into a "Bucket"
    - Pick and Delivery this stock out of the "Bucket"
    - Transfer the delivery over to the 'Invoice Sales Order (2)' when required.
I'd welcome any suggestions here to helps us optimise the process.
    Many thanks,
    Alexander.

    Hi Alexander ,
Yes ofcourse you can use consignmentment Process
and you can use the concept of special stock partner in the partner profile
Spoecial stock partner (SB) can assign to your ship to party
1stly you can do consignment fill up(  with your customer name (ex-2316)
then at the time of creating the consignment issue parter function use 2361 customer

  • Sales Analysis by Item: Show all items

I am trying to look for a way to get a report that will show me the Sales Analysis by item, but show me all the items even if the item wasn't sold to any Business partner.
    Example:
I have the following items and sales for today:
    Item A, invoice $100
    Item B, Invoice $200
    Item C, no sales
    Item D, Invoice $500
If I run the sales analysis by item they will show me
    Item A, $100
    Item B, $200
    Item D, $500
but I want to show it
    Item A, $100
    Item B, $200
    Item C, $0
    Item D, $500
Please let me know if there is a way or a queries that I can do to get that result.
    Thank You,

    HI,
Sales Analysis per item only display item with records.
You can attain by creating a query to display your desired output.
Please try to look in the forum for the sales report.
    example:
[Sales report for the month.|Sales report for the month.]
[Re: sales analysis report|Re: sales analysis report]

3.Pl. note the Item category  I have used is Std.(blank) for the PO raised for non stock consumption item .
    My concern:
    1.Is this system default behaviuor??
2.i e system will auto post at the time of GR , to the same G/L account (GR/IR Services) for both the consumption item (non stock item procured for cost center/order..via material PO .). and the services PO (for services procured via Services Item category 'D').???
    Pl. help suggest.Matter most urgent!!
    Thanks,
    Ranganath Krishna

    Hi,
Please check up if there is any default value at the plant level;in case of such default, the system will post to the GL Account defaulted, not with standing the "standard item category".Better checkup if any cost center /order has been assigned.
The GL item is defaulted thro'the item category. If both the goods and services have been defaulted to the same GL  Account, then not with standing the type [ie] whether goods or services, the system will post tot he same GL Acct.
    Hope this helps.
