In store pickup order takes 10 days? Verified item in stock at store location.

I placed an order online with BestBuy.com today and, after checking the inventory of my closest Best Buy store (store 1402), selected "in store pick up today" to fulfill my order and receive my items. Shortly thereafter, I received my order confirmation indicating that I should wait until I received an order fulfillment email - "We will send another e-mail notifying you when your order is ready for pickup. This notification will arrive in less than 45 minutes, as it takes us just a little time to get items ready for pickup in our stores." Now, maybe I am a complete fool for thinking that when I am told I would receive my order fulfillment notification in 45 minutes or less that I should actually receive that email...but after NOT receiving said email, I opted to go to call the store to verify order and the item stock. They do have the item in stock but yet I must wait a full week to pick up my item? I was told one is being shipped to the store? This was not a ship to store order it was in store pick up order that was verfied to be in stock at the time of placing the order. My question is why must I wait almost 10 days to pick up a in store item that was verfied in stock buy bestbuy.com and by a sales associate from the store over the phone? Also the item is currently in stock at the store as I'm writing this, a full  5 days after my order was placed. As far a payment goes a Best buy credit card was used, so the process of verifying payment should be straight foward. Also its been over 3 days since the order was placed. Whats going on with my order?

    If you go to administration - system initialistaion - document settings
    on general tab check the Block Negative Inventory and choose block release.
    the system can allow you create the sales order but it will not allow you release the stock.

  • Store Pickup Order Cancelled - CC Charged

    To whom it may concern:
    I was unable to get to my local Best Buy in time to pick up an item I ordered online for store pickup.  I know I shouldn't post order numbers on here, so I'm hoping that you'll be able to look up my order by item, which is Archer Season 5 Blu-ray.  I understand that a temporary charge is always placed on orders, but it was my understanding that the actual charge wouldn't take place until the item was picked up.  The cancellation email that I received even stated, "Be assured that if you paid by credit card, it has not been charged."  However, looking over my bank account activity online, I have already been charged for this order.  I know it was this particular order due to the amount charged.  Do I have to wait the usual 3-5 days for it to be taken off?  Reading the policies, it shouldn't have been charged in the first place.

    Thank you for being a loyal Best Buy customer. I can understand you concern at discovering that your cancelled order had been charged to your credit card, and I'm very sorry for any confusion this has caused. 
    As Sam mentioned, when you place an order on BestBuy.com there is an authorization hold placed on the card for the total amount of the order. If the order is cancelled this authorization is released, or otherwise when the order is picked up or shipped the final charge is processed. Using the e-mail you registered on the forum I was able to locate the order, and it looks like the authorization was released on 01/16. You should be able to view the funds back in your account at this time. 
    Once again, I apologize for any concern this has caused, and please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Call the store on the telephne and ask. However, I doubt it since a store would not normally have an item with non-USA features

The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter?

    Hi all,
    Iu2019m am a beginner in billing, but have experience in MM & FICO.
    Just needed help on billing front.
    I have a scenario and here it goes.
    Our billing is done per day  based working days in month, the bill is generated in the month end.
    Eg :
    If the billing dates are from 1.11.08 to 30.11.08, assuming the total working days in a month are 23 and the rate is 255 INR per day the invoice amount should be 255* 23.
    I was able to achieve the billing amount by keying in manually no of days as 23 and the calculation goes through condition type in the sales order. But in case if the billing date extends to mid of next month then the system takes 23 days for next month billing, which should not be, instead it should be 1st to mid of the month(eg 14 days * 255 INR) and that should be billed.
    But what is required is, in few cases the billing date is in between the month (assume 17-11-08) then the system should calculate the days instead of keying in manually.
    I am not able to change the quantity field in the billing plan, if above cannot be automated then how do I configure to change the quantity in billing plan.
    Being a beginner I require your help and guidance.

    Hi ,
    In MD01 you have the Planning date butin MD02 you don't have the system date and sy-datum is picked by the system for Single item multi level plannng run.
    If you run the report in Midnight dates will change for MD02 but not for MD01.
    Also you should check the MD05 after each MD01 and MD02 for comparison.
    Don't use Creation indicator 3 in any case for for MD01 and MD02.
    Please don't see the result in Production server as there requirements are changing everysecond.
    - MD01 is generally used to run the MRP for all the materials in a plant .
    - MD02 is used to run MRP for materials which have a BOM i.e multi-level
    Check this thread also though it is not your problem but shows why difference is there between the results of MD01 and MD02

    It will probably take a week and three days to replace your Samsung in the Czech Republic. In the U.S., if I sent my iPhone or iPad in for warranty work, it would take 7-10 days as well. Yes, I do have the option of taking it to an Apple Store, which you may not be able to do. Samsung doesn't have stores at all in the U.S. I would be dependet on my carrier for warranty replacements.

  • Lost service now have to take a day off

    I was actually able to get thru the phone tree to an agent relatively quickly.  But the problem apparently is with the optical box installed on the outside of my house.  So the only way to get a service repair technician out to my house to check  is for me to take a day off, wait for someone to show up, just to be there so I can verify that it was corrected.    The problem I have with this, is that I lost service when they installed service for one of my neighbors.  Don't know if they are connected but since I have only had the service for 9 months I doubt that it is faulty equipment.     A couple of days ago someone from Verizon had some kind of meter connected to the box outside of my townhouse.  He said he was making sure I didn't lose service when my neighbors service was installed.    Why do I have to be there for them to check the box?  If it needs to be replaced,  that can be done without me,  the technology is there for the to check to see if service is being sent to my house ( they could check it last night without anyone coming out to my home,  as a matter of fact it was diagnosed using their computer system)    If it is I can use the in home agent to finish resetting it once I get home from work.    Anyone had any luck in getting around the "you have to be home to get someone to come out and check Verizon's equipment, and recent work?

    Just a follow up,  I took half a vacation day to be here for the Verizon technician.  He looked at the box outside and said, Yes the contraction cut the line to your service.  Here is where he left a new one, but since he can't open the box to my house he couldn't reconnect it.  It took ten minutes for the technician to run a new wire.  Since the modem was turned off that had to be turned on, other than that no reason for me to be here, except to verify that the work was completed.
    So, thanks to Verizon's inability to hire compentent contractors, their customer service that really isn't for the customers, My employer lost my time for the day, and I lost a vacation day. 
    Since I am encouraged to use the online agent for every thing the fact that they insisted I be home is just another example of poor customer service.
    Do you think they will really credit me for two days that I didn't have service?

  • Ordered recovery media days ago. Status is stuck at "ACCEPTED"

    Given that I am paying $25 for a small, light-weight disk to be shipped, I assume the shipping would be fast. However since I ordered it on Wednesday the status has been stuck at "ACCEPTED: Your order was accepted by the order fulfillment system." I didn't think that it would take several days before shipping happened. When can I expect my disk? My recovery partition is gone, before anyone chimes in about it.

    The FSM Status in UCSM says "Success."  As I stated above it was registered fine and working fine for several weeks.
    Now however the inventory in UCS Cental and in UCSM are out of sync.  Since it isn't seeing some new blades that were installed we can't add them to a sever pool or associate Global Service Profiles.
    UCS Central shows the Last Refresh as several days ago (the screen grab in the orginal post.)  I believe it should be updating inventory every 10 minutes.  I have tried to manually refresh the UCS domain in UCS Central CLI with the "refresh-inventory" command with no luck.  I have also Suspended and Acknoledeged the UCS domain with no change.

    5 hours to do 6 GB of transfer is NOT normal, even for USB 2.0 so there's something wrong here. I'd say cancel it, wipe the drive and then test the integrity of the drive. Do some file transfers over to and see if it's behaving normally. It could be a bad USB cable, it could be a bad drive or bad enclosure. As it's new, I suspect you haven't really put it through its paces yet and it's important to do that first before commissioning it to serve as your "reliable backup."

  • Why the Safari web inspector shows it takes 16229 days to load some resources?

    As chrome shows everything right, safari always show some resources take 16229.0 days to download, and the resource is actually downloaded in a few ms.
    It happens to every sites(I guess) and every resources randomly.
    All extension is disabled and I just reset safari, but nothing changes.

    Safari also takes a long time(more than 10s) to load a page sometimes while Chrome just load it instantly. I think this happens when it shows to take 16229 days to load resources
