In the process of shutting off, my iPhone 4 froze. I can't get it to change or connect to anything.
In the process of shutting off, my iPhone 4 froze. The little scrolling circle just keeps displaying. I can't get it to connect ot iTunes or to my charger. So far, nothing I have done has changed anything.
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an appears. This should take about 8 seconds, and it reboots the phone. If it doesn't something is seriously trashed in your iPhone's memory.
You can then try a forced restore. Restart your computer, launch iTunes, put the iPhone in the cradle and hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons for a long time (20 seconds). This puts the phone in Recovery mode, and it should prompt you to restore the phone.

I recently turned off iCloud photo sharing and lost all the photos off my iPhone 4S. How can I get them back onto my phone?
IF you have successfully imported your pictures to your Mac http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 then it's safe to delete it from your phone.
If you want the pics back on your phone, just sync them back using itunes http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 -
I accidenttly deleted my notes and the icloud cleared all the message from both ipad and iphone ...How can i get it back?? If I can ??
Your notes should be stored in your backup, so if you have backed up the iPad and that backup does contain those notes that you deleted, you can try restoring from your backup. If you haven't backed up the iPad since you created those notes, they are gone.
If you backup with iCloud only, restoring from backup involves erasing the device and then going through the setup all over again and finally restoring from the iCloud backup. This article explains the process quite clearly.

If you backup with iTunes, connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes and right click on the device name on the left and select - Restore from Backup. But before you do that .... turn off auto sync in iTunes - without connecting the iPad - launch iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and check the box at the bottom of that window in order to turn off auto sync.
Email messages are not stored in your backups. -
I ripped a new CD to iTunes and backed up to the cloud. The songs are already on my iPhone 4S, but I can't get them on my iPad. I already connected the iPad to my laptop and selected "Sync with the iPad over Wi-Fi". On the iPad I forced a Sync. Help!

I upgraded to iOS 5 and lost ALL of my apps even though they were backed up to Itunes during the process. Whenever I plug my ipad into my computer the apps that appear in Itunes are from my ipod touch. How can I get my apps back without purchasing them again?
On your iPad and iPod touch tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched On under Automatic Downloads.
Now restart your iPad and your iPod touch.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
You can re download iTunes purchases for free if necessary > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -

I don't remember the sites but I know that they contain important information that I planned on getting to later (This is why I put them there). The app tabs have been reliable in the past, always there after closing out Firefox.
That was one of the first things I tried, but because I closed Firefox the links were inactive. It has done this a few times since I posted this earlier today so I am wondering if there is an option somewhere for saving these. Also, I never had this problem before so it might have something to do with a recent update (maybe a new option?).

My 3GS phone, the earpiece speaker shuts off about 5 seconds into phone calls.
My 3GS phone, the earpiece speaker shuts off about 5 seconds into a phone call, Is this an easy user correctable software fix or a hardware problem that requires service?
Yes. Apple doesn't repair most problems. If out of warranty, you may be eligable for this:
Out-of-Warranty Service
If you own an iPhone that is ineligible for warranty service but is eligible for Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Service, Apple will service your iPhone for the Out-of-Warranty Service fee listed below.
iPhone model
Out-of-Warranty Service
iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c,
iPhone 5
$269
iPhone 4s
$199
iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS,
iPhone 3G, Original iPhone
$149
A $6.95 shipping fee will be added if service is arranged through Apple and requires shipping. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are subject to local tax. When setting up out-of-warranty service, Apple will request credit card pre-authorization for the maximum service fee listed above. This amount will be deducted from your credit limit. The final service fee we charge will be determined during testing and may be less than the service fee listed above.Certain damage is ineligible for out-of-warranty service, including catastrophic damage, such as the device separating into multiple pieces, and inoperability caused by unauthorized modifications. However, an iPhone that has failed due to contact with liquid may be eligible for out-of-warranty service.Apple reserves the right to determine whether or not your iPhone is eligible for Out-of-Warranty service. iPhones that are repaired or replaced have a 90-day limited hardware warranty or assume the remainder of your standard warranty or AppleCare product coverage, whichever is longer. Please see Apple's Repair Terms And Conditions for further details. -
Help!!!! my ipod touch 3rd gen won't turn on. at first the problem was it kept shutting off whenever i went into an app, then i plugged it up to the computer to restore it from back up it was working then the ipod just shut off before it was restored help
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
