Yes, you do need iPhoto, or at least for the following: Plug it into the computer with the USB plug you get with it, and iTunes will automatically open. It doesn't matter if you keep it open or not, because you'll import them to iPhoto. When you open iPhoto, it will automatically go to your iPhone's inventory of photos. Choose a photo that you wish to import (or click import all), type in the titile, and click import. A pop-up message will come up that asks if yu want to keep originals. Click yes, and viola. Your photos are on your computer! Hope this helps.

Delete your account in 1. "Settings > iCloud" + 2. "Settings > Messages > Send & Receive" + 3. "Settings > FaceTime", but still let them using your account for iTunes and app purchases in "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Of course, please make sure that they do not know your password to set up your account for iCloud again or purchase anything alone.

Can't Figure This Out....Need Help.
I am attempting to add a line score from a minor league
baseball team to a website of mine (it's an actual "in progrss"
line score that updates itself). It looks like it uses a feed of
somesort with a page refresher, but I can not identify what it is
from looking at the source code.
The format I really want looks like this website:

However, I would be more than happy to get something that

MCyou might want to explain what your problem is in the title
of your post. a lot of people don't even look at ones that say
something like "need help" without any explanation of what the
actual problem is.
that being said, from what i can tell from the code of those
pages, it looks they created some kind of database or something for
those stats thingies. which means it's probably not something that
you can just copy and implement on your own site. you might have to
create your own database.
but maybe someone else will have some ideas. again, you might
want to repost or change the name of this thread, if that's
possible. i doubt you'll get many more responses to this
one. -
Very simple function, but as a beginner, it's still difficult for me.
my mouse wants to detect boxes on the canvas and return the center coordinate of these boxes, how can i figure this out? The game will be, if point(x,y) is inside a box , return box CenterI just noticed that you are placing them on Canvas and it is not a container object. One solution would be to keep track of boundaries of those clickable areas and whenever a click occurs, a check which box was clicked, if any. I hope this helped.

I recently purchased a Macbook Pro and when connecting my iPhone 5 to the Macbook's Messages app, I clicked cancel after seeing the 6 digit code. I thought I could easily get that code back to my phone, but can't figure it out at all. Any help?

Can't figure this out- cable connection vs wifi connection
Can't figure this out: when my 13" MBP is connected wirelessly to my Airport base station, my iPad can see it. When I connect the MBP to the base station via ethernet cable (for faster connection), the iPad can no longer see it.
Note: my airport is not connected to the internet. I'm simply wanting to setup a closed network for the iPad to connect to the MBP. There's nothing else on the network. The app on the iPad is locating the MBP by ip address so it must be a permanently assigned number.

Now if I connect my iMac to the Extreme with Ethernet the Airport is not visible and I can't connect to the internet.

They should turn off Internet Sharing in System Preferences > Sharing if it is On
Are either of you running Internet Sharing? If so, turn it off.
They should not be letting Parallels connect using the Mac's IP if they run Parallels.
Do either of you use Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion to run windows on you Mac? If so, turn off their access to the internet in their settings or preferences.
They should not be connected to the Router via wireless (Airport card) and Wired (Ethernet) at the same time.
Are either of you connected to both Ethernet port and Airport wireless at the same time. If so, disable one of the network configurations. Either unplug the cable or turn Airport off.
They should not have two DHCP servers in a modem and router on their LAN.
How are your router and modem configured. If they are both distributing IP addresses, then you need to either set your router to bridge mode or set the modem to assign just one IP address. I don't know what hardware you have, so I can't begin to tell you how to configure either. Unless it is an Airport Base Station, most modems and routers are configured through a Web interface. Airport Utility will let you configure the Airport Base Station. -
I can't figure this out for some reason.
I want to use a template in DVD studio pro and have the button text fade in at a certain point and have it be highlitghed when it is selected. It seems like it should be a simple thing but I can't figure out how to do it.

You can set restrictions via Settings > General > Restrictions e.g. hide Safari, iTunes, music or films/TV programmes via their age rating. If you are having problem doing that then what exactly are you trying to do and what happens when you try to do it ?
To delete an app, press and hold any of the apps on your iPad's homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the apps shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off' -

Did you get a message in iTunes that said iTunes found an iPod in recovery mode? If not then you might have not gotten the iPod in recovery mode. Try using this program to get the iPod in recovery mode:

I am used to working on duel monitors. I bought a new MacBook Pro 15' yesterday, the adapter for my monitor, and the monitor is on with the generic background but I can't drag any windows over to it. I can do it on PCs but can't figure out on the Mac. Can someone please help the noob out?

NikkiThe blue blocks in that screen are Icons for your actual screens. Their sizes are proprtional to the number of pixels in each screen. They can be dragged to new locations relative to each other -- as long as they are touching at some point. You are expected to drag them so that they correspond with the actual screen location on your bench, so that the movement from one scrren to the other is intuitive.
The white stripe represents the menuBar. It can also be dragged to any screen, and that screen will then be the one with the MenuBar. It will also become the screen with the Startup icons on it. -

It appears like you may have a hardware issue with your ringer button and internal speaker that came to light after the update. If you have already restored your iPhone back to factory settings using iTunes, you may need to have your phone serviced.
Some potential good news... Check your headphone jack for lint. There may be enough to cause a muffled connection. You can try to blow it out with compressed air or very carefully pulling out any solid objects that may affect the connection.
