Inability to confirm messages in Solution manager

Hi,
We have implemented service desk. and for testing purposes, we entered some messages.
Now some of these message cannot be confirmed, an error is received stating, "Document being distributed-changes are not possible" when we go on Edit mode.
The error message is - Message no. CRM_ORDER019
Diagnosis
The document is being distributed at the moment, and therefore cannot be changed. The document will be ready for input once it has been distributed successfully.
Please advice as to how to update/confirm these messages ASAP.
Thanks in advance

I once had a situation where that note didn't help (with a new status for support messages).
If your support message still cannot be processed (same error message):
Go to table crmd_orderadm_h and get the GUID for the corresponding support message. Now display table CRM_JEST content for that GUID. If there is still a entry with status 'I1054' - delete it (with a small ABAP) --> that's actually the status blocking the message. Anyhow be careful with that - I cannot guarantee it doesn't have any side effects.
Cheers,
Andy

  • How to check the messages in solution manager?

    hai experts !
how to check the messages in solution manager?
in which transaction do we see them?

    Hi Kiran,
From what I gather from your brief question, you are perhaps looking for CRM_DNO_MONITOR that would display all queries created from Satellite/SolMan system itself, as support messages.
If you are looking for Notifications underlying those messages, please look for DNOTIFWL.
For more specific answers, please provide more description of what you are looking for.
    Trust this helps.

I think the version of the Solution manager on which i m working is different from that of the version for which is documentation is prepared.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello Prashanth,
You, the Solution Manager version could be different than the version which help.sap.com describes. However, may I know which user and its authorizations you are using to create Support Message? Because, authorizations plays most important role.

  • Howto Close support message in Solution Manager

    Hello,
Iu2019m installing and setting up the Service Desk on my Solution Monitoring system.
Iu2019m able now to create a support message in my satellite system with menu action u201CHelp  Create Support Messageu201D. The message is put in the queue and could be edited in the tr-Solution_Manager under the Item u201CService Desk  Messagesu201D. When I open a message Iu2019m able to change the status of the message form u201CNewu201D to u201C in progressu201D etc. but the item u201CConfirmedu201D is always gray!
Could anyone explain to me how I or the end user could confirm thesupport  message?
I couldnu2019t find a detailed description about the process flow only a global one.
    Thanks for the information.
    Kind regards,
    Richard Meijn

    Hi Meijn,
Already solved? If no, check the following customizing.
In SPRO, SAP Solution Manager -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Service Desk -> Service Desk -> Status Profile -> Change Status Profile for User Status, then choose status profile "SLFN0001" or your customized profile.
"Lowest status no." and "Highest status no." shows which status it can be changed to.
For example, in the following case, you can not change the status from NEW to Confirmed. Also, you can not change it from WIP to NEW. In such cases, target status which you can not change to will be shown as gray in status list.
    Status  Text low high
    10   NEW  10  20
    20...WIP    20  40
    30...
    40   Confirmed 40 40
    I hope this could help...

  • Create messages on Solutions manager system it self.

    Hi ,
On our customer solutions manager system we don't have access to directly log messages via the solutions manager itself, but from the customers ECC (SAP production system)
When we select Help --> Create support message, we get the error "You dont have authorization to create a support message".
Would any one know how this restriction is made where you restrict users from logging messages directly on SM.
Its it a standard role with authorisation. If so please advise the role.
    Thank you & regards,
    Harshini.

    Dear Harshini,
I dont know if in solution manager additonally a authorization is needed maybe you can ask one colleague by open a ticket under component SV-SMG* . For Service Marketplace your user id must have the authorization object" create sap customer message".

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
we need a custom report which displays All SLFN and its associated SDCR/SDHF/SDMI/SDAD messages in a single page.
CRM_DNO_MONITOR gives a messges in the form of a list. if we want to see the associated messages we have to double click on the message it open a separate window with the details. from there again we have to click on the Process Flow button to view the linked items or messages.
we need everything related to a one SLFN message in one single window.
    Please suggest.

  • Support Message Status should default to Incident in Solution Manager

    Hi Friends
    Need your Help!!
I need to change the Priority settings set for the support message in Solution Manager , If a user logs a support message in the ECC system (production) with any priority (low, medium, high, very high etc.) it should default to Incident in Solution manager.
From there the client wants to classify the Priority as per his requirement in Solution Manager.
The current settings are like below
For a Low Priority it is defaulting to Incident
For a Medium Priority it is defaulting to 1: Bug P1-2
For a High priority it is defaulting to 2: Bug P3-4
For a Very High Priority it is defaulting to 3: Bug P5-10
Really appreciate your help, many thanks.
    Kind Regards,
    Vattikonda.

    Hi
    thank you for response.
It is the clients requirement to default the priority status to Incident if a support message is created from a managed system (ECC).
    for e.g,
An user creates a support message in ECC production client giving the relevant input and he selects the priority as High, this created message should default to Incident in solution manager.
please see how the current settings are from my earlier  at the bottom..
    Kind Regards,
    Sandeep.

  • Support Desk Message Creation in SOLUTION MANAGER  through  External Emails

    Hello Experts,
I am a ABAP Developer , as mentioned in subject, my part is to Create support desk message in solution manager, through external Emails like outlook Express . To do this task i  am in need of more information about some  componenets which are used in solution manager support desk Message.
          My Doubts are,
    1) What is the use of Ibasecomponent in Message Creation?
    2) What if the ibasecomponent is mentioned as a defaut value ' 24 ' ( i.e is the ibasecomponent for solution manager - support desk ) ?
    3) To track the system from which the message is created , is ibase required or the SAP component will give those information?
If anyone has already worked with this subject, please give me some suggestions ASAP.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Mohana

    Hello Mohana,
Let see if I can explain this well:
    1) What is the use of Ibasecomponent in Message Creation?
When you define a Solution in the SOLMAN, you need to update your Ibase
    Edit->Initial Data transfer for Ibase
This create a tree structure in the ibase IB52, as you can see in the attachment.
You get a componet number for SID-Client
You can configure the SOLMAN in a way that when a message arrives from
    <System ID> <Installation Number> <Client> <User Name>
this is what solman knows from a message comming from a satellite, them you
know directly from which component/ibase the message has been received.
This is important data, the component/ibase, for reporting issue, for assigning this component to a sold-to-party (being in IB52, left tree, select a system and go to Goto->Partner  you can assign a Sold-to party BP there for example)
    2) What if the ibasecomponent is mentioned as a defaut value ' 24 '
By default the SOLMAN system has a Intalled base 01 already created for being used and maintained "automatically":
being in dswp, solution : Edit->Initial Data transfer for Ibase
If not you msut maintain the ibase manually from IB52, this is also possible.
The Ibase 01 is a prconfigured iBase for being used for the SOLMAN application.
Tink that the SOLMAN system is built up a CRM system, so the IBase is CRM matter. SOLMAN is only using some CRM applications to build the Service Desk scenario for example.
I3) To track the system from which the message is created , is ibase required or the SAP component will give those information?
    Ibase is required
    Hope this helps,
    Dolores

  • Doubt on viewing service message reply from solution manager???

    Hi,
How to view the reply(for Service Message) from solution manager in our satillite system? or how to view the reply for our service message? Please share your ideas..

    Hello Sriram,
Unfortunately it is not possible to display the replies of the support
desk in any satellite system. There are to ways to inform the creator
    the message:
A new action can be defined, so that a mail is sent to the creator, when
e.g. the status of the message changes. You can read in attached note
no. 691303 how to set up an action triggered by status change.
The second possibility is to set up a user in the Solution Manager
system with display authorization, then creator of the message must log
on to the Solution Manager system and can then have his messages
    displayed.
At the moment there are no other possibilities for the issue described
    by you.
    Hope this helps,
    Dolores

There is no "message inbox" in satellite systems, but you can use the SAP Solution Manager to have a central access to all reported messages.
Configure Work Center "Incident Management" in SAP Solution Manager and grant access for message reporters.
See answers to similar question in accessing the service desk message from satellite system
