Incident Resolvers Cannot Apply Incident Template that has RBA

Greetings,
I have created a custom role based on Incident Resolvers for a specific support Group in SCSM. I have given access to all the right tasks (and at one point ALL the tasks), views, config items, etc. However wen the user tries to create an incident using a
template that includes a Runbook Automation Activity, they get this error:
The user DOMAIN\User does not have sufficient permission to perform the operation.
In the OpsMgr Event Log, it shows this:
An exception was thrown while processing ProcessDiscoveryData for session ID uuid:99e91d8a-4960-4a78-b315-7864499329fa;id=385.
Exception message: The user DOMAIN\User does not have sufficient permission to perform the operation.
I could add the users to the Workflow role but that shows them views and such, i'd rather they not see. The only other work around i have found is to remove the RBA from the Incident template and have a workflow add the RBA upon creation. The user
is able to create the incident and thr RBA works but it seems a less clean way to go.
Anyone else seen this?

I swear this app is the second coming of Skynet. I gave the AD group that populates the custom user role access to SSRS so they can run incident reports. This seems to have resolved the RBA issue. Makes no sense to me but i will take it.

    Yes but how are they going to create the Landscape versions?
    The problem with doing it in Pages '09 as rotated content is that the Headers and Footers are not rotated and there is inherent clumsiness in the rotated content usually being too large for the page when viewed at 90°.
    Best to make it in two or more separate documents.

    Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

    Can someone help find a fix of how to save PDF files from safari in iOS 5.0.1? The PDF files show a lock on the right hand side of tab. Only these lock PDF cannot be save. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    I assume that you have iBooks or GoodReader or Adobe Reader - some app that will open PDF files so my suggestion would be to start with the basic things, restart your iPad, reset it or quit Safari and restart.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    In order to close/quit apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off.
    To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    The lock to the right side of the tab indicates that the website is secure - or at least that is what it looks like in Safai on my iPad. Sites with the https in the address have the lock icon in the tab, non secure sites - web pages without the https - do not have the lock icon. I'm not sure if that has any bearing on it - none of the PDF files that I have opened in Safari have the lock icon.
    But if you can open the file - it doesn't make sense that it would be locked??? Try the basic suff and see if any of that helps.

    We have a template that we have to create, each page on the template has to have a page number.  We do a lot of edits and the pages change for example the page may start out as page 1 and after editing it is page 10.  Are there any codes I could use that would automatically number and renumber the pages.

    I don't think there is any property of templates that would give you that capability.  Sorry.  You can certainly suggest it to the dev team, though -

  • How do you redesign a site with a new template that has apps, etc.?

    In BC Cafe I was advised to do the redesign in the same site and keep as much as possible of the existing site so as to not affect SEO. I have chosen a BC Gurus Template that fits our needs and the client's budget that has a number of apps. I don't knw how to meet the suggestion that I build the redesigned site with the new template within the same site. I know we will have to upgrade to eCommerce to be able to do so but logistically I am not sure how to do that.
    It seems to be that I'm missing something very obvious and that I shouldn't be stumped by this. What am I missing?

    Let me clarify. I know how to upgrade to eCommerce, I don't know how to merge the trial site with the existing site. I also don't know all of the factors I will need to consider when I have trial pages up for viewing as well as the existing site. This seems like a problem to me.

  • Safe to delete a "List Template" that has been used to create several libraries?

    In SharePoint 2010, is it safe to delete a "List Template" from the Gallery that has been used to create several libraries?  I have a user that has requested the template be deleted.  But he has used the template to create several active
    libraries that he needs to keep.  I wanted to make sure there will be no impact to those libraries and associated workflow, etc...

    Libraries created from a template are not tied to the template, so the template can be removed if it is no longer required. The same holds true for Site Templates.
    Yes, the template can be removed.
    One more thing, if you dont want delete the List template or having some fear than you can hide it from UI. in Template just hide it.

    But is you have the list definition than its different story.

    Thanks Larry, I am using the default account that was used by the previous version of iPhoto, I did not change any settings when I installed 11. The program deos not seem to give me an option to use an alternate. When I try to send photos I receive a message that the program does not recognize my username/password as follow; 
    "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination."

  • How can I create a template that does not have automatic formatting but my own?

    I have just switch to a Mac from a PC and am having a terrible time with pages.  All I want to do is create my own template that has NO AUTOMATIC FORMATTING so I can do my own.
    There is nothing in the HELP sections on how to delete the automatic formatting.  I do not want to use any of their Outline Templates just make up my own.
    I would be so so grateful if someone could help me with this.  I took a one-on-one and his idea of how to get rid of formatting in my own template DID NOT WORK!

    Hard to see your problem, and if there is something THAT DOES NOT WORK! it would obviously be useful to know WHAT that is and WHY you believe it does not work, so we can ACTUALLY RECOMMEND A SOLUTION.
    Just select any text and change it to whatever you want using the toolbar and/or the Text inspector.
    The Outlines are just a view of your text, in a form that lets you easily organise and move it around.
    Menu > View > Show Styles Drawer
    Reveals whatever style has been applied to a heading or text and you can update or create new styles by clicking on the small triangle next to it > Redefine style from selection
    When you are finished just save it as a Template.

    The exchange connector is great when it comes to creating incidents but not so great when it comes to updateing incidents.
    It's very irritating that users receive an email whenever an incident or request changes.
    Is their a way to turn off incident templates to apply when incidents are updated?

    it does sound like someone has configured a notification or a workflow somewhere that is sending out the action log comments. you will need to find out where that is in order to troubleshoot further.
    Unless it's changed in the exchange connector 3.1 when analyst comments were sent in via email before they would not send out due to the private flag being marked as 'NULL'.
    What are the action log entries showing when you email in?

    I have a quick question for you and it would be great if you can answer me on this.
    I'm working through SharePoint Workflow issue (developed using Nintex) that started recently where people are getting workflow error and I don't see issues if I submit it myself. Current error. - "Failed to start workflow. The workflow cannot access
    the item that it has been applied to."
    I haven't made any major changes to Workflow except for changing email notification content and publishing it. My question is, do I need to publish the rest of the workflows too that are associated to the list after I publish changes of one workflow? Looks
    like users have required permissions to submit the form. Please let me know how to get rid of this error.

    Hi Smithspd,
    According to your description, my understanding is that your users got a workflow error, and the workflow is created by Nintex.
    For SharePoint Designer workflow, once we do any change in a workflow, we need to re-publish the workflow.
    For your issue, I suggest you re-publish the workflow, compare the result.
    In addition, as your workflow is created by Nintex and this forum is for SharePoint Designer, I suggest you ask Nintex support or forum for better help.  Thanks for your understanding.

  • I have photoshop elements3 istalled and have ltos of pictures. Recently changed computer that has windows 8 and problems with some of my photos in that some of these have voicce comments that now cannot connect. Same applies to some 'movie pictures

    If you could remove the card without destroying the laptop, you would then be able to see if the integrated Intel chip works
    Do you currently have the Intel chip turned off in the BIOS... or are you using the switchable graphics feature?
    If you ARE using switchable graphics, that MAY be your problem
