Include own search help within new partner role (SRM 7.0)

Hi,
1) I have defined an own Partner Function and Partner scheme for Contracts.
2) I have defined an own table with partners and description (z-table).
3) I have defined an own search help including the own z-table.
4)I have included my own search help to the new defined partner scheme (spro --> cross application Basic settings --> Define partner schema --> partner determination procedure --> Search help name (own search help)
If I start a contract in the system, I can see my new partner Function within header data -> so far so good.
Also my own searchhelp is included, I can see the defined partners within my own z-table using F4 help.
Problem:
Partner ID and Description from Z-Table are not returned to Web Dynpro after selecting one partner from my result list.
Question:
How do i define a correct customer search function including an own table for partner functions/schema?
Do I have to use a search exit within my search help to return the Partner Id and Description correctly to the contract fields?
SRM standard seems to use the follwing exit:
BBP_F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_CLL_PARTNER
Any help concerning this issue is highly welcome

We can create the Contact person for the vendor with the following roles in SRM 7.0
SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR-->SAP SRM: Administrator
SAP_EC_BBP_PURCHASE-->mySAP SRM Purchaser
SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER -->SAP SRM: Strategic Purchaser
Select the vendor created by you from the 'Business partner' page and click on 'Create Contact person'.
Enter the details required as per the requirement and save.

I created a new search help and this works fine ... If I compare my search help with a default search help from SAP, I have 1 small feature that not seems to work ... With the default one, it is possible to make a new selection within the search help by clicking on the arrow down :
If I look at my search help, I don't have the possibility to make a new selection :
Does anyone how this can be done ?

HI,
Here are the general steps to get you started.
1. Identify the search help being used (on the ship-to-party field, F1 then Tech Info). I believe you want the collective search help SD_DEBI.
2. Create your own search help with the fields you want to use with SE11, like 'ZDEBI' as an example.
3. Append 'ZDEBI' to SD_DEBI. (Goto->Append Search Help).
4. Clean things up by "Hiding" the old search help. In the 'Included Search Help' tab of the collective search help SD_DEBI, there is a check box that you can tick to hide included search helps.

Create new partner role type

Hi Guys
This one is from Traders' and Schedulers' Workbench from IS Oil and Gas Downstream.
I need to know whether we can create new partner role types (e.g. TSW011, TSW011, etc). The partner role types are maintained in table OIJRRT but I could not find a transaction to maintain this table.
Do I need to create the entries in the table directly? Will the system allow me? Has anybody tried this earlier?
Also, can anybody tell me what is the significance of Role differentiator type and how can we use it?

TS W as a standard has some partner roles, which can be assined to the TSW location or Transport system.
e.g. Carrier
Shipper
Supplier
Supplier in pipe
Receiver
Receiver in pipe
Consignee
Tanker
Inspector
Breakout S/L locational
Your partner role can be either of the following SAP entities : Vendor, Customer, Plant , Plant + SLoc
At a physical location, you can have multiple suppliers. In SAP, they are created as Vendors, and assigned to the TSW location as the 'Supplier' partner role. Another vendor may be assigned the 'Carrier' partner role at the location. Similary, a Plant can be assigned as a 'Supplier' partner role.
The same applies to Customers or Plant which can act as a 'Receiver' partner role at a diferent TSW location.
Once you have set-up the partners for the location, this data is used as a validating and defaluting source in the TSW documents.

Search help for business partner ID in segmentation applet

In CRM 2007 I'm using the segmentation toll. When creating filters for Business Partner ID criterium I'm using a search help functionality to find the desired records. However search help for business partners used in this area is very different from the search help used in any other parts of WEB UI (it is restricted to only few fields, that are not enough for our requirements).
Segmentation applet is written in Java but the search help looks like normal WEB UI screen. I wonder if any of you could help me with replacing this serach help called by segmentation applet (java application) with a standard search help for business partners (BP_HEAD_SEARCH)?

I think the requirement/question is not very clear in your post.
However, the segment Java applet calls a CRM class which has related code and methods.
Class: CL_CRM_MKTTG_SEGAP_COM
Package: CRM_MKTTG_SEG_APPLET.
Please explain the problem in detail.

Attaching a search help to a field
A search help can influence the behavior of a field when the input help is called. The search help must be assigned to the field in order to do this. You have the following options for this assignment:
Attach search help to a data element / table or structure field / screen field / check table.
Conventionally search helps are attached to table fields or data elements. We shall see the same.
1)Choose the field name, click on search help tab and
provide the name of the search help.
A search help is attached to a field of a table or structure in the maintenance transaction for this table/structure, analogously to attaching to a table. You must assign the interface parameters of the search help to any fields of the table/structure. The search field must be assigned to an EXPORT parameter of the search help at this time.
2)Attach the search help to the table field
3)The search help ZSTRAVELAG_NAME is therefore directly attached to the field AGENCYNUM of table ZSTRAVELAG.
Attaching a search help to a data element
Provide the search help name and the parameter name
under the further characteristics tab of the data element.
If the input help of a field is defined by its data element, no further screen fields can be used in the input help.
Also note that the input F4 help would be available wherever the data element is used.
Attaching a search help to a screen element
A search help can be directly assigned to a screen field in two ways.
The name of the search help must be entered in the Screen Painter in the Attributes for the field in the field Search help.
The name of the search help can be defined for selection screens in ABAP reports in the PARAMETERS or SELECT-OPTIONS statement directly following the supplement MATCHCODE OBJECT.
However, input help is only available for this particular screen.

Search help for SO partner function

Hi All
I need to change the search help DEBI such like that when the user press F4 it gives all the data( means no need to put the slection parameter value) at present selection paramenter is sales org, DC,Div, Sold to part partner function.First four I am ble to make default or from sales order but do not know how to capture partner function value as per partner in Header( being multiple partners).
Second issue is can we control the various tab to appear as per sales org.i.e. particular tab should appear for particualr sales org or company code.

For a sales org you can find its partners in VBPA table, the join is VBAK-VBELN = VBPA-VBELN. If you want to get the partners at item level then
VBAK-VBELN=VBPA-VBELN adn VBAP-POSNR=VBPA-POSNR where VBAK-VBELN=VBAP-VBELN
To control the various tabs using sales org, you need to find out the correct user exit. If it is irrespective of sales org but just controlling teh general display, then it is configuration and a Functional Consultant can do it for you.

Customer Include and search help for E-Recruiting

Hello All,
I've added a field to customer include field for table hrp5122. I want to add search help BUPA to that field. When I do that I get an error when the page is to be displayed.
I would like to use the search help instead of filling in the value table for the domain used for this field. Currently this is the only way, I know, how to make a customer include field appear with drop down list values on the web.
If you have been able to use a search help on a field that is displayed on the Web please respond with the steps on how to do it.

Search help for Product id in SRM

Hi ,
I have a requirement of changing the search help that is attached to the product id in SRM. we are using SRM7.0. Currently I see an elementary search help /SAPSRM/BBPH_PRODUCT on the webdynpro screen of shopping cart creation. This is an elementary search help . I need to add a collective search help to the product id field which will replicate in all the applications .
Is that possible. if yes, how can we do that .

Incorrect search help for Delivery address in SRM User Settings

Search help for partner functions in the message to get organisation unit O

hello,
Depending on the Business partner category (Organisation, Person,Group) the search help of the partner function in a message should return the corresponding partner list.
This is working fine for standard partner functions like SLFN0002 (reported by=P) SLFN0003 (support team=O). When doing a searchhelp we get a list of organisation for the "support team" and a list of users for "reported by". this is a normal behaviour.
When copying the partner function SLFN0003 into a new ZLFN0003 and including it in the partner profile of the message the search help returns all business partners of category P but should return category O. The function category 0016 (service team) is well defined for ZLFN, I guess the link to business partner category is made indirectly there but I might be wrong.
Does anyone of you experience the same behaviour ? Any idea how to correct this ?

Collective search helps:- Combination of elementary search helps. When we need to fetch data based on multiple selection criteriau2019s. More than one tables are Selection from multiple tables
Steps for creating collective search help.
1) Enter the search help name and click on create.
2) Choose Collective search help radio button option as the search help type.
3) Enter the search help parameters.
Note that there is no selection method to be entered for a collective search help.
4) Instead of the selection method, we enter the included search helps for the collective search help.
5)We need to assign parameters for each of the included search helps.
6) Complete the parameter assignment by clicking on the push button.
7) Collective search help offers the user to obtain F4 help using any of the included search helps.

Getting error message in Business Partner search help

Hi Experts,
User is getting an error message while clicking the Search help for business Partner in all the transactions (FPL9, EEDM11, etc.).
Only few users are facing this issue. We have compared the roles of the affected users and unaffected users and the roles are same. What will be the reason for few users getting the error?

I'm not familiar with EEDM11, but FPL9 has parameter ids that can be set at the user level. Look at
System/User Profile/Own Data, Parameters tab between your two groups of users. Also consider checking the settings in Help/Settings, F4 Help tab.
Lastly, you might try dropping debug on the error popup and see where it is being triggered from. Maybe the answer is there.
