Including links of worksets and iview in a KM doc iview

Hi,
I have developed a home page using the KM Document iview, which utilzes an html page in path to document.
Now, On this home page, I want to display the links of worksets.
Example: On Clicking the link--> Leave Management(a workset), it should open the leave management and its sub part iviews as Leave Cancel, Leave Status etc.
Is it possible to display them on the same screen when the user clicks them? If it is possible, how to go about it?
I tried using
http://<portalserver:port>/irj/index.html?NavigationTarget=ROLES://<pcd location>
in the html file, but on clicking this link, instead of the workset, the whole portal page is loaded in a sub-window.
I don't have the option of creating a custom overview page in the back end; that's why following this approach.
Any inputs on this would be helpful?

in an up-to-date version of TREX you have to change TREXIndexServer.ini:
[statistics]
trace = on
index = _trex:statistics
log_all
Restart TREX.
Within this index "_trex:statistics" all the index usage data will be stored.
You can use the text mining function for retrieving your desired information.
Launch the TREX Admin-Tool.
Goto Index: Mining.
Choose the index "_trex:statistics".
Open Query Editor by using button u201EBuild Queryu201C
In Query Editor enter query: function=search
Use button u201EOKu201C
Mark u201Eindexu201C and u201Equeryu201C from attribute list
Use button u201EShow Tableu201C
Use button u201EGet Datau201C
That's all.

OK, I found CFHTTPMessage.h in CFNetwork, so i'm including that now. I still can't get XCode to find the symbols, though:

I've tried adding the CFNetwork framework, but ... there is no CFNetwork framework shown when I try to add it. I see specific CFNetwork frameworks for OSX, iPhone OS 2.0-2.2, simulator and device, but my understanding was that XCode finds the correct device-specific framework at link time i.e. if I choose CoreGraphics.framework, it links against the device-specific CoreGraphics.framework when I build for the device, and the simulator version when I build for the simulator.
What framework do I need to add to use CFHTTP-stuff? Where do I find it?

Level 1 of the problem is solved.
Now I want When I click on the workset iview link,
It should open another workset iview in which the iviews are displayed as links.
Page 1

When workset iview1 is clicked, it should go to a page
Link 1(an iview) Link 2(iview2) Link 3(iview3) and so on
how can I achieve this?

When I include a web link in my Hotmail email, it isn't blue. My recipients have to 'cut and paste' my links to use them. With Explorer the links are blue and folks just 'click' on them. Is there a setting in Firefox to allow links to be 'clickable'?

Iam bit confused about the link between SPRO settings and portal.Why are we doing changes in the backend(SPRO) if we want to disable or enable some areas in frontend.Sayfor example i want a link in personal information.I have created my own iview.i made settings in frontend.then why iam i doing changes in the backend.

I think u want to point out to the SPRO settings need to be done for customizing ESS & MSS package content
The reason Behind that is "Homepage framework"

You can find the documentation you are looking for on the SAP help portal. This link will take you to the Administration Guide for EP5 SP6.

PDF output not including links

I've searched these forums and read posts that the problem with links not working in PDF output should have been fixed in version 6. I'm using RoboHelp HTML 8 (with all suggested patches), but when I create a PDF output it has no links in body text or in the Related Topics list at the end of each topic. I went into the PDF settings dialog box and checked for the PDF to include links, but it's not working.
I'm developing in Windows XP creating WebHelpPro.
What must I do to get links to work in a PDF (other than on the Bookmarks tab)?

Out of curiosity, what do the links point to?
My thought is perhaps it is a type of link that isn't really capable of being transferred to PDF.

Links in Firefox and elsewhere malfunction under Yosemite

On my year old MacBook Pro all web links in Firefox and elsewhere malfunction under Yosemite. They open a new tab and appear to connect to incorrect web addresses where no content is displayed; that is, if pressing the link will generate any action at all. At present if a link appears as an address one could, of course, labouriously go old school: the addy can be copied, a new tab opened, the address pasted in, then hit return, and wait. If the link appears as a topic or subject in proxy for the address, i.e. no visible web address, the copy/cut/paste method will not work, therefore, the additional information sought at the link is lost to the viewer. Thanks for the suggestion. I interpreted that you meant a new user for the OS X 10.10 (the MacBook Pro), so I went to preferences and created a new user in "Users & Groups." The system automatically established that new user as my iCloud persona, including my indelible e-mail address [email protected]. It's not what I would have established had I known what would happen, but it exists, so that's Reality. So, moving forward, the new user approach was not a successful resolve for the the inability to click links, and, thereby, be taken to the 'Link" represented site. Does the Pages update include linking text boxes? This was a great feature in the previous iWork: Pages version.

Linking multiple tables and Trying to insert records into Detail

Hello,
I have been struggling with this one for years...
Work Order, Employee Labor, and Materials. I then create a group headers using the Location field from the Work Order table. I then create another Group, suppress the group name, and insert several fields from the Work Order table (work order number, wo description, status and completion date into Group 2 section. Multiple rows of info are displayed. I then enter some Employee Labor fields from the Labor table into the Details section (employee name, labor hours, pay rate, etc.). I get several lines of employee labor transaction information grouped below each row of work order info from the Group 2 section. So far, so good.
Now I attempt to bring a field into the Details section from the 3rd table (Materials). The moment I introduce the record, the rows of employee labor are duplicated over and over. In fact, there are multiple duplicate labor transaction rows (over and over).
What am I doing wrong??? I've tried every combination of Linking Order that I can think of... I need help.
Please reply.

hi Robert,
this is a common issue when you add several details tables to a report. once you add the fields, then the sql generated will include those parent tables and you get a multiplier of records.
my recommendation to you would be to use a subreport for the materials table instead.
go to the Insert menu, choose Subreport and create a new subreport using the Wizard then add your current connection but this time only add the materials table. in the Linking tab, choose your Work order and then add the subreport to the Work order group header. now in the subreport add some fields from your materials table onto the subreport canvas.
what this is essentially doing is a subquery to the database and returning all associated materials records based on a filter for the work order.
the main report should not include any materials records and you can also remove this table from the database expert for the main report.

Friends, wanted to check if anyone can provide assistance on table links between AFVC and EBAN. The requirement is to track material/service quantity, price, etc in comparison with plan version versus PR, PO, GR, etc. tried retrieving object numbers of WBS and activities using 'get proj info' bapi and tried passing them in tables COSP/EBAN/COKEY but the essential link between material assigned to network activity and the PR is missing..

Did you try the link including EBKN. Basically you can pass the network / WBS number in EBKN and get teh PR number and use this detail in to the item table of PR.

Ghosted "Include Linked Files" box when saving artwork?

Why will Illustrator CS5 not allow me to check the "Include Linked Files" box when saving my artwork as AI or EPS?

When you placed the files into you AI file did you use the Place command from the File menu and have the Link box checked or did you use copy/paste? If you used the latter then the files are embedded. The Include Linked Files will also embed the files and make them non-linked. I don't know if that is what you are after. This is real non-intuitive.

No, we can't as we don't have your database and tables.
And there is no urgent questions on the forum.
"urgent" suggests that you have a live system that has failed, or that people's lives are at risk, in which case it relates to a commercial system. Such commercially critical support is provided by Oracle Support, not the public forums that are manned by volunteers with their own jobs to do. It's very rude to suggest your question is more urgent than other people's or that the volunteers should urgently deal with your issue. It's a sure way of ensuring that you will not get quick answers to your question, as many people will either ignore it on purpose or give you abuse for saying it.
